Short, fast, loud, brutal, heavy, obnoxious. Not just crust, but also neo-crust, d-beat, and dark hardcore. Too punk for metal, too metal for punk. Completely D.I.Y. Total disgust with society combined with a drive to make it better. Radical politics, radical music.

Hi. Stumbled over this great album by the Greek band Pyr Kata Voulisi. Check them out!
https://open.spotify.com/track/3yL3IkZq2gcGNz5oo3Ob6t?si=7WKev4iIS3i1OpasVJDKuQ
I‘d love to learn their first song on guitar (beginner though). Could anybody out there give me some hints on how to tab that out (or share a tab (at least the stuff that repeats like verse/chorus) to that song maybe)?
Any kind of help is greatly appreciated! Cheers
The band that got me into crust. Remember listening to this in 8th grade and it still rips to this day.
The ENT or Disrupt of this generation
Just stumbled on the Crash and Bleed podcast and they had Roy Mayorga on. He says they have remastered all Nausea records and they will be out in the next couple of months. What say ye?
Happy friday ya'll. All these years later and still love this band. Anyone else keep coming back to them?
Kawakami forever
She is among my crust heroines, as a crude crust dyke.
Just curious if she did any other projects or spoke about her time in the group and whatnot. Thanks :D
Basically what the title says… I got this problem with most music from the neo- crust genre. What do you think?
If so why do wash them and if not why do you not wash them? Looking for kinda a poll on this sort of thing

I like most of you I imagine, was a 90's drunk punk and then one day I stumbled across the Capitalist Casualties / Stack spilt 7". ( https://youtu.be/GF0NtCpzSDM?si=VDWmtxU1Co96b_5m ) this fucking record blew me the fuck away. First the CC side was the fastest fucking thing I have ever heard up to that point. And the STACK side completely obliterated me. It still remains one of my favorite records almost 30 years later. This caused me to search out more material from stack and similar style bands. I always tend to refer to that style of hardcore as 90's German hardcore or I would call it Bremen style as I thought that's where most of the bands hailed from....altho now on Stack's discog page it says they are from Mannhiem which looks like it's 6 hours away 😅.
Other bands that ive found along this journey into this particular style of German Hardcore included Carol ( https://youtu.be/riQHbZvgPqE?si=C5Pdz7sbd86zeKln ) MÖRSER ( https://youtu.be/vi-8kqtatk4?si=emlGbdxLMrlCr7od ) Hypocritical Society ( https://youtu.be/fXScfhXsUoQ?si=aBMg6My6mxI0tcvM ) ATTACK OF THE MAD AXEMAN (which I believe has the drummer of Stack) ( https://youtu.be/m1ni5vNP-MQ?si=T2PDCGH8a4wQerWn ) There was a more recent band that started with a "I" that I'm totally spacing on right.now too, which is ironic as they were the only one in the list that I actually saw play live 😅
I know there are a few more but I'm drawing a blank rn. All these bands are criminally underrated and blow away a lot of the stuff out there today. Probably would not classify most of these as crust, but hey we're talking about something other than Dystopia 😅 Feel free to add any that you think fit into this niche genre.
30th Anniversary, just sayin.
Yo I’m in Montebello area and I was wondering if there’s any cool punk shops or places to check out specifically places that are 21 under. Any cool things to check out?
what’s some of ur guys favorite crust bands or non crust?
I love this record. Feels like if from ashes rise was British!
I get that Dystopia is becoming a bit of a meme on this page due to their popularity and havinf a pretty unique sound is one of thier main draws. I would like to get a feelers for the community Herr, can any of you recommend bands that have tried to reproduce the Dystopia style or existed before Dystopia that you think they might have pulled influence from? I remember about a decade ago there was rumblings online that dystopia had completely ripped of this band for Maryland from the 80's called "No Trend" https://youtu.be/PmIZ05TxBSo?si=I0f_8ELLcs55P6GV
You can definitely hear some similar vocal styles and the art work seems on par with Dystopia's style but to they "they completely ripped them off" just sounds like hating from some one who probably doesn't like Dystopia and is just trying to shit on the band. I'm more asking if anyone knows any bands since Dystopia that you can recommend that can hold a candle to them musically? I always kind of thought as Damad ( https://youtu.be/Kxe_UYRCyOA?si=SmCJVdqx9FR5i4Xq ) as like a southern version of Dystopia with thier heavy use of samples and thier drummer is pretty sick like Dino. Seriously next time you listen to Damad try and zero in on the drummer. Dude is sick. I also thought that Magruder Grind, haha hear me out, hit Dystopia like vibes on thier song "Bridge Burner" on thier Self Titled LP... ( https://youtu.be/Ag-cxESZ_ck?si=bQBfZkycrynEwSXT )you could argue the cover of that LP kind of has a Dystopia like feel.
There is a newer band out of AZ that I like called "Ugly" that I enjoy that works samples into thier tracks and intros really well that give me a bit of a Dystopia vibe ( https://youtu.be/gIgZ6glHDpY?si=z9vUwl28gaH56dsA )
Those or the ones that come to mind right now. I would like to hear what you all think and would really enjoy listening to what ever bands you guys actually think have successfully achieved Dystopia like sound. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.
Blackened Crust from Oakland, CA (formed in 2010)
