For me, it was Mordecai around '05. That song did it for me. I learned how to play it on the drums, and I will say one of that hardest songs for me to learn! Anyways, here's Wonderwall š¤£
What are the chances we get a full album play through tour? Do you guys think this album has enough support to warrant another āEvening Withā type tour with a career spanning set or would you prefer they have supporting bands?
Better Lovers is a supergroup featuring vocalist Greg Puciato (The Dillinger Escape Plan), guitarists Jordan Buckley (Every Time I Die) and Will Putney (Fit For An Autopsy), bassist Stephen Micciche (Every Time I Die), and drummer Clayton Holyoak (Every Time I Die).
I want more prog with that sound of colors and automata 1&2!! Specifically 3:20 of sun of nothing and basically all of automata II. The only thing I've really found is the Devin Townsend song Bad devil, but I really haven't listened to much more. Thank you so much!
Heās about to play the Selkies sweep like 500 times! Lol
But in all seriousness Iām thinking of booking the 30 minute lesson but Iām trying to figure out what I want him to teach me that isnāt the Selkies solo!
Iām thinking sweep picking in general, or maybe just some minor theory stuff, like how to build lead lines from a rhythm section.
Any suggestions?
Paul posted a video on his Instagram announcing he'll be teaching guitar online for a limited time. Most importantly in the same video he said, and I quote, "we're home right now, working on some stuff"
In the comments of the video he also replied some comments saying (as a joke obviously) that they'll be "making Colors 6 and then working backwards"
I know this might just be a huuuge strech or might even be a side project, but idk. The way he said "WE are working on some stuff" gives me hope it might not take too long before we get news of a new album.
Has anyone ever bought the equipment Dustie has sold in the past, like the axe fxās? Currently heās been advertising heās trying to sell the kemper he used to record Colors 2.
Iāve always wanted to buy some of the stuff heās sold, but not in my budget unfortunately.
Hello
So, iāve wanted for sometime now to learn the album colors (for bass), but i struggle so much to find any good way to learn it. Unfortunately buying the Oficial Book is not much of a option right now, i would pay a fortune just to ship it to my country. Thereās someone that know where a can get a tab from this album? A scanned book, digital tab, anything goes. Thanks.
But boys...please cover this song live sometime. No other band could pull it off but you. Pleaseeee do it. And tell Dan to go all in a buy a Rick 4003
I've always heard him talk about Daddario wound third strings and I can't find them anywhere. Also I see posts saying he uses 11's and some say 12's, I have a PRS that's in C# but I have 10 gauge strings and I really just need to find a thicker string, doesn't have to have the wound third. Any advice would be appreciated <3
Random and short. I've love this band for literal years, how on earth has it taken me this long to figure out the name of silent flight PARLIAMENT is a reference to the night owls and not something government related. I feel like such an idiot.
Iām not sure what the type is, it sounds like a mix between fry and false chord.
The only tour the boys did this year was the colors experience back in March/april. I really hope there has been some writing because I'm itching for new music!
I love this song so much, definitely my favourite of theirs, its one of those songs that i cant find any similar too really, the whole colors album as a whole is awesome, i know this is a basic post, but just wanted to share my appreciation for this awesome song lol.
It has a great mix of heavy and melodic, and that starting riff is probably my favourite BTBAM riff
Guys, am I crazy or is this Paul? The segment was shot in North Carolina.
I'm broke asf so I can't buy the CD and I'd love to see the album played live all the way through without getting completely cucked by YouTube ads or the straight-up video changing.
Is there any way to see it or get it online? (I'm still getting a copy as soon as I can but I'm just obsessed with the album atm and dying to see this version)
I have been searching hard for a good progressive metalcore good songwriting band. And landed on ERRA. Love their vocal dynamics which reminds me of BTBAM.
