I’m a big fan of Paul’s material in Battlezone and Killers, which have a more NWOBHM direction. This one doesn’t, it’s more AOR but thought some people here might appreciate discovering this exists. I showed my friend Dave who is a fan of the first Iron Maiden record.
Planning to cover Samson’s Shock Tactic’s album down the line and I have some other NWOBHM bands like More, Bltizkrieg, Satan, & Diamond Head to ambush my punk friend with.
HMU if you have this and would like to trade or sell it
i've seen some people call them hard rock but also Time Tells No Lies is considered one of the best NWOBHM albums, so how would you label them?

Ok, another one......I like Iron Maiden, but maybe it's just me but I enjoy their 1st two albums with Paul Di'anno more than anything with Bruce Dickinson. Paul's got punkish vocals (which are "dirty") and I like better than Bruce (who essentially sings clean "opera metal"). My opinion is you change the vocalist, you essentially change the band and clearly this happened Here (another example is Ozzy). Regardless of Paul's firing, be honest.....who do you prefer? Or do you prefer Blaze Bayley??? Go!

Any record stores in London that carry NWOBHM? Will be there this summer - want to dig while I'm there. Thanks!
I understand that obviously the 80s were not quite as PC as nowadays, but why that name choice? Genuinely curious as it’s only 40 years or so from the end of WW2 so maybe a sensitive subject for survivors? Maybe I’m just being dumb but I would genuinely like to know if there was a reason behind the name or just purely a metal attitude trying to stir the pot a bit
