NYP. Nice, simple German hXc
I (20f) would love to go to the Loud and Proud festival in Germany in september but no one I know listens to this music and I don't really want to go alone. So I'm looking for someone (preferably around my age) who'd also like to go, please let me know if you're interested!
I need friends who can keep me spiritually in my walk w god and continue to keep me uplifted
Just curious, I appreciate all help. God bless!
Anyone heard this one? Are they Christian? Looks like the singer has a Christian podcast and the drummer is in the protest.
I was just curious about this, because I noticed it was a lot easier to find christian metalcore than other genres. Any ideas? God bless.
What’s your thoughts on Collapse/Revive
If you haven’t heard of them check them out!
Christocentric and technical for metalcore
What’s a band in the scene that everyone loves that you just can’t get into & what’s a band that you believe deserves more recognition.
My pick for overrated is Demon Hunter, I honestly love their ballads but for some reason can’t get into their heavy stuff.
A band that needs more recognition is definitely Bloodlines. They are top tier modern day metalcore
new to Reddit so I thought this could be fun. Out of these six albums that were released in 2009 which would you say is the greatest. I’d personally say Sons of Thunder but if you asked me in highschool id probably say Son of the morning
Hey yall! Born again Christian of about 7 months now and recently discovered about UnBlack metal. When I was not saved. Black Metal was my favorite genre listening to groups such as Emperor, Mayhem, Dissection and much more. I discovered groups of the sort such as Horde, Antestor, Crimson Moonlight, etc. Are there any Unblack Metal groups yall recommend? Thanks!
Hey, so I have a project that I'm trying to get off the ground and I may need a studio vocalist to help me record their vocals for the album. It's primarily in the vein of metalcore a la Norma Jean, The Chariot, and Zao. Other influences would be For Today, FFAK, and Crimson Moonlight. I've realized that I do not have what it takes to do vocals and I need help from a sibling in Christ to help me with my venture. I can provide Dropbox links with the material and I could also provide a reference track to help with vocal structure. Feel free to message me with any inquire.
For some real extremities check out Vision of God Records and Headlight Productions.
Both very Christian and really heavy!!!
Check out The Charon Collective and Resuscitation Records.
Christcore/ Metal that won't disappoint.
Hey, what are some Christian Metalcore bands that speak about Depression and Hope? Thank you.
title says it all
Hello there, sorry if this has been asked before (a quick search didn’t show anything). I discovered Fathomage at some point or another and wanted to start listening, but I became unsure of some of their work’s actual Christianity. I wanted to ask about this album here. Akul (what the creator goes by) has said he’s an Orthodox Christian in an interview and on this sub; but (while I obviously cannot judge anyone’s salvation) I was worried about the content of their album “Necrohermitage of the Emotionally Starved”. The lyrics, at first glance, look potentially like idol or satan worship, but at the same time, it does seem to spin molech (the main recurring false god) in a negative light, so I’m not sure. Am I just being paranoid? Or just completely missing the point of the album entirely? Both are possible, but I just wanted to be sure before I start listening to the artist.
To be clear, I am not trying to insult or accuse or anything; I just try to be careful about what I listen to and just want to make sure that this is fine.
Hey, I'm looking for some new music to listen to. I don't know anything about Christcore bands, but I'm open to suggestions for anything & everything. If it helps (idk if it will since they're a different genre) with giving recommendations, my top 3 favorite bands are Paramore, Twenty One Pilots, & Fall Out Boy.
