It wasn't "grounded" in anything, there was also the rest of the white end tip around!
I assume a bird / crow brought it from somewhere else...
It was fuzzy and slimy simultaneously
So I've been getting into mushroom hunting and identifying and all the fun stuff involved but if I were to start growing mushrooms I've already found again would there be a longer process to it? Or how would I go about going from collecting a mushrooms spores to propagating them and then repeating?
Hey, I have a tub growing purple mystic mushrooms and it's honst to god on its 10th - TENTH _ 5+5 - 2×5 DIX , X flush How is this possible it looks a bit ragidy but for a tenth flush, and after each one I cold shock it outside for the night and soak it while doing so...no contamination nothing...just more and more shrooms...
Thought I’d share
I spotted these cuties while walking around Portland
I was given a book about fungi and this diagram was included to explain gill attachment. However I can't really make sense of the drawings and there isn't any more info (I'm very new to this). Would anybody be willing to explain what these terms mean in some more detail or be able to direct me towards a good resource for learning more about this, please? Any help would be very much appreciated 🙂
