As of right now i’m a 16 years old junior in high school, i’ve smoked weed time to time with my buddies and loved the feeling of it. A few months ago during around halloween my buddy and I decided to experiment with shrooms and see how that goes, it was our first time for the both of us doing it so we didn’t really know what we were doing but we have a friend that has done them so he would explain to us how it worked. We bought 7g for the each of us not knowing how much we should take, and we both probably ate around 2g each throwing out the rest. awhile goes by and it starts to kick in for the both of us and life feels great, we decided to go walk around at the soccer field near my house for a bit and everything was beautiful. We then decided to eventually go back to my home and just see where it takes us there, when we got back i started to get a lot of doubts of doing it and i started to panic a bit. My buddy calmed me down and things were feeling a bit better but i was still stressing a lot. I couldn’t really tell what happened by I started to panic again and wanted it to all end, i started to get big waves of anxiety and got very anxious with what was going on inside my head. Now being the idiot we are we took them at around 12 Am and didn’t realize it would keep us up all night, this here played a big roll in my trip and i had a lot of energy and sleeping was not going to happen. At around 5 or 6 Am i started to panic a bit and truly wanted it to end, my friend tried talking to me but that wasn’t helping at all and most would say I started to have a bad trip. Soon enough its 10 Am and my friend has to leave the house and i’m still very paranoid, I tried sleeping it off but that barely worked and eventually I had to make the decision to skip my hockey game that night since I felt so out of it. My Mom noticed something was off with me and all I told her was that I was hung over from the night before since she knew I had some stuff to drink which she rarely lets me do, I couldn’t hold it in anymore and eventually told my mom what happened last night and vented to here about everything. She knew there was something more than just drinking since she’s seen me before after a party with alcohol in my system (Again very rarely she allows me to drink), My mom understood and wasn’t getting mad at me for the decision I made since I was being honest about my decision. We talked for a bit and eventually I had to tell my dad what happened but he was the same as my mom not giving me a hard time about it, my mom even let me stay home from school the next day to allow me to catch up on sleep and give myself sometime to get back together. After that night nothing has felt how it has before, i constantly don’t feel like myself and it’s been about almost 2 months of feeling like this. There’s a lot of distractions in my life that help me short term to forget about what happened which hasn’t really helped in the long run, i’ve recently been researching about how i could be feeling found something about an ego death. From my understand an ego death usually happens from shrooms and your basically put into a new body as yourself and have to live with not feeling the same (If anyone can explain that to me better it would be much appreciated). I just want to feel like myself again but i’ve been told it’s not going to happen and i’m going to feel like this forever, everyday i regret doing it and wish it never crossed our minds. If anyone could give me some advice or shared experience that could help me in anyway it would help a lot, thank you for taking the time to read my story and i’m hoping i get some advice.

I don’t smell anything like apricot but then again I have a terrible sense of smell as a dog owner who refuses to admit they’re allergic to fur…. anyway I cut a slice and it looks white still! Any tips on how to store or eat if these are really my first chanterelles?
