found growing near each other after rain i think far left is toxic not sure about the rest
I live in tampa area west florida does anyone know if they grow a lot here and what are the best times of the year to go get them? Or just any suggestions for this area. (im not asking for any spots just suggestions/tips.) Sorry guys i dont mean to be annoying for making this too btw. I know they live on cow fields but i dont wanna get shot at going on them.
I've dosed shrooms before wet and dry but whenever I've taken them wet it has always been kind of a gamble I know strength varies from species to species but is there a general conversion factor from wet to dry because for the life of me I can't a consistent number online.
I'm okay with munching down dried shrooms, as the taste is awful, but pinching my nose does the trick. Fresh shrooms, on the other hand, taste about the same, but the texture kills me, and for whatever reason, whenever I try to make a tea out of them, I barely get high. Do you guys have any methods to disguise the taste or a way to make the tea properly?
Feel free to comment or dm me :)
Hello everyone! I have two or three questions I like to ask, and I always appreciate it when seasoned veterans share their wisdom with me.
I've been doing some more hunting lately and working on my mushroom identification. The field I use mainly is a great place because there are mushrooms EVERYWHERE!
The first photo I have attached is what I am fairly positive is my first active find. I believe it to be psilocybin cubensis. It is also the first case of blueing that I have seen, indicating it's an active compound.
The second one I found tricked me. At first, I thought I found another psilocybin cubensis just by the physical appearance. After further investigation I do not think this is a psilocybin cubensis: absolutely no blue bruising, white gills, and sort of a reddish stem. I am still curious to know what this mushroom is, though.
My third and final question is this: The field where I go seems to be dominated by panels antillarum. Is it worth combing through all the non-active panels antillarum to find some active panels cyanescens?
This mushroom as exhibited much more blueing since this picture was taken!
Could anyone give me any advice on how I could do it? I havn't grown before but I have watched videos of people doing grows in tubs and bags so I know a tiny bit about the process.
Also, id like to ask what happened to Zealousideal_Belt_17, they seemed like an absolute guru in this sub.

Hey, I’m a new hunter! I’m pretty new to identifying mushrooms, but my research has shown me that the majority of these are Panaeolus antillarum. I’m not 100% sure about the two on the bottom right. All of these were collected from cow manure. If anyone could help me learn more I’d really appreciate it! Thanks!
