I found this mushroom in Houston, TX growing in the grass with orange sap on its cap. I tried finding a photo online that looked the same, but the only results I'm getting are this bleeding tooth mushroom, and I don't think this mushroom was a bleeding tooth because the sap was not bloody red.
I wanted so badly to take a photo but it was at a customer's house and I could not take a photo at the time. I want to go back but I think the customer may find it creepy if I went to his house again out of no where to take a photo of the mushroom growing in front of his yard... Should I go and take a photo anyway? I feel like it may be a very rare mushroom if I cannot find it anywhere online.
Amanita multisquamosa, or the "small funnel veiled amanita," is a North American mushroom that resembles Amanita muscaria. Testing shows it contains ibotenic acid and muscimol levels comparable to A. muscaria but lacks detectable amatoxins. The full report is available at the provided link.

That’s a lie I’ve done oyster but nothing this big. I’m growing a rare type for scientific reasons (long story but I can’t disclose) I was thinking of using newspaper as a substrate but I’m worried that the ink could harm it. I know newspaper ink is not harmful for plant gardens but mushroom are so incredibly different that I have no idea. Please help.
Wondering what everyone’s favorite is? And if they heard of noom mushroom coffee I’m hesitant to spend money on anything that doesn’t advertise “fruiting bodies”
Anyone knows if there is a difference about types of mushrooms that can be found in Brazil (southern hemisphere) compared to northern hemisphere?
If so, what are the nicest mushrooms that can be found in Brazil (or southern hemisphere in general)?
Perhaps any region/state/biome suggestion?
