[ACTIVES] Psilocybe natalensis sp., before flush and after dehydration

The purple color is due to spores from some of the fruit falling onto the caps of other fruit. Grown in home laboratory environment.

King Bolete (Boletus edulis) in a Central Oregon Coast Salt Marsh

I've been hunting them in pine needle beds for 10 years. Had no idea they grew in habitats like this. Which is kinda no surprise because their camouflage is so good you hardly see them until you're on top of them.

These are growing from a hole i left when I harvested the last one 50 hours prior.

They grow in close association with A muscaria, so sometimes it is easier to glide through the area looking for those ruby gems instead.

    These taste way better too.
