I had a towel wedged in the door of the oven too so it wouldn’t get too hot. I stepped away for a second and came back to this. The lions mane looked super fresh as I was just cleaning it
Hello! I'm a design student doing research project on mushroom hunting bags/buckets. If you all would be willing to fill out my survey: https://forms.gle/KZNf7HixZ9iSZiYTA I would love some input from anyone that has any.
Hello, fellow mushroom enthusiasts. I live in the Seattle area of the PNW and have been foraging mushrooms in the surrounding areas for a few years now, but have never ventured out far enough to find western matsutake. I’m quite new to this mushroom and am hoping someone might be willing to give me a bit of guidance on where in WA to look for them this time of year. Definitely NOT asking for specific coordinates, just a general sense (coastal areas near Quinault, North of Shelton, etc.). Feel free to DM me. And thanks so much!
I am going to go mushroom hunting in Ouachita National Forest with a focus primarily on oyster mushrooms. I would like to educate my self more and i haven't been able to find any the I would confuse for oysters. Can anyone point me in the correct direction?
Having trouble finding them and want to go looking this weekend. Or if you just want to share your spots, happy to Venmo/apple pay you.
Mini/baby Psilocybe semilanceata or nope? Thanks :) spotted UK
They are popping this year!! We got 2 pounds 6 ounces in just over an hour at one of our spots.
Title says everything
Chanterelle’s from this weeks trip to the Mt. Hood national forest. Going to be making a chanterelle gravy and GF stuffing with this and local chestnuts from my yard.
