First time foraging: Quite sure it's a Parasol mushroom in Netherlands

Hi! First time foraging and am quite confident that these are Parasol mushrooms. Could you make me even more confident to make them into schnitzels? Thank you!

Advice Looking for an Authentic Truffle Hunting Experience in Alba

Hey everyone!

My partner and I will be in Northwestern Italy next week, and we’re excited to check out the Alba White Truffle Festival! We both love mushroom foraging (mostly as a fun hobby), and we’d really love to try our hand at truffle hunting while we’re there. However, we’ve found that the tours are pretty pricey—around €125-150 per person—and they don’t include tastings or the chance to keep any truffles we might find.

We’re hoping to experience truffle hunting in a more authentic, laid-back way—maybe by joining up with some local mycophiles or members of the community who know the area. Does anyone know of any mycological societies or groups we could reach out to? Or perhaps other ways to get a genuine feel for truffle hunting without going the full tourist route?

Thanks so much for any advice or leads!
