Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong but as far as I know C-rank agents only have one trigger. This means that they don’t have a shield, and instead just one singular trigger slot being used.

And for them the way they rank up (excluding snipers) is primarily done by 1v1 battles.

Wouldn’t it be best for a c rank agent to just pick raygust?

While its attack power is the lowest out of the attacker triggers it still has a built in shield mode.

I’m willing to bet that would be ridiculously useful against the majority of bullet triggers. Especially since the built in durability has consistently shown how durable the damn thing is.

Although viper is a bit of an exception, but I’m pretty sure that if Osamu can block Nasu’s crazy ass viper (albeit with the help of a shield) then a C ranker would do just fine against another c ranker who’s probably having a much harder time using the complicated trigger.

I can see the reasoning behind scorpion being a decent counter but I’m not feeling the same regarding kogetsu which at worst results in a stalemate.

As for the whole weight issue, C rank osamu and briefly Yuma were jumping around like crazy. In fact there’s probably some cool tactics you could use involving that (mainly jumping and slamming the thing tbh).

Not to mention the blade is big as hell so blocking against other attacker triggers won’t be super hard.

Lemme know if this makes any sense since I thought of this almost immediately after leaving the hospital.

!Then the next day we saw quite a few of the A-rankers dinged Wakamura for asking for help. Some even went so far to criticize him on the very problem he was having - what the F? Hyuse is a Neighbor who spent less than a week with Wakamura and was able to help him, meanwhile these agents was here for years and did nothing yet still passing judgement on his help. Ironically many of these hypocrite are Operators, non-combat agents!!<

!I really hope the leadership recognize these elitist behaviors and call them out on it. What do you guys think?!<

I was making an original character for world trigger and was wondering what would be a good side Effect to give for them... one thing that came to mind was mind reading but as OP ans awesome as that sounds I don't think it really works as a side effect... and now I can't come up with anything for that specific oc.

Any ideas on what side effect would be useful in combat?

I already used enhanced eyesight and a photographic memeory side effect for other characters so suggestions are welcome.

I started my 5th or 6th rewatch of the anime, and then I realized that the series never revealed how Yuma and his dad travelled across all different neighbor countries. And considering that Yuma has a lot of experience traveling to so many Neighbor countries, he could be a guide for the away mission as well without Border relying on Hyuse?

I understand that Hyuse may still be more useful to guide them towards Aftokrator, but it's just a little odd that Kuga's experience with traveling across different neighbor countries never entered into their conversations.

Am I the only one that can Imagine a mini battle royale type for team rank wars, and a mode for solo rankings on the way they have the system and turn it into a customizable game with triggers being your loadout and such, even just using this ranking system for a game would be amazing.

Why doesn’t Osamu say yuma name anymore he says his last name now. It just feels so weird and out of place

so i just realized this but like, earlier in the series (around season 1) yoneya tried to challenge kuga to a 1v1 but never got the match and kuga promised that he'd get it next time, we never got to see them face off. i'd love to see them face off in a 1v1 and also i'd love to see more 1v1 with other border agents and kuga/hyuse (i'd say osamu n chika but i dont think they do 1v1s)

the other thing is the Galopoula invasion near the end or at the end they stated they would come back to stop border from doing their away mission before they get out of orbit (atleast in the anime) so im kinda expecting that near the end of the current arc or after it that we see another invasion before we actually get to the away mission

Chapter 199 ended in August of 2020, they have been stuck on that fucking room for almost 5 years.

If World trigger became a game I imagine it to have ZZZ style of combat .

As for boss fights . I think the regular boss fights would be the neighbours,etc especially Visa being a Hard Boss to dodge , Mira being annoying to defeat due to teleporting shenanigans , Hyuse dealing Dot and Aoe attacks with Magnets, and Agents as well like Jin being able to Guaranteed dodge some of your attacks due to future sight, Yuuma attacking through your dodge cancels (telling fake's apart) , Kage launching a wipe scorpion attack if the player keeps stacking combo streaks on him ( Sensitivity to hug agitated plays) , Kou getting Buffs gradually as the longer the battle goes on the more thougher he becomes, Amo doing a fcking Nuke after a time interval, etc etc.

And the semi-boss fights like The whole squads teaming up on the player at once like the whole Tamakoma squad attacking you simultaneously.

For secret boss fights i believe The Black trigger users and Special trigger users to be suited for them . Example : Black trigger Yuuma ,Fujin Jin, Fujin Miwa, Tamakoma-1 with their special triggers ,Konami battle axe , Torimaru Giest ,Reiji full arms. Also special ones like Futaba using Skanda and Nasu with her crazy Viper Tech . Secret bosses should be less as the whole "secret" thingy

Woah this was longer than i expected the more I wrote the more I realize how much I wanted this .

I feel like give the amount of trion she has, designing her personality to be someone who doesn’t like to shoot people is definitely a nerf. After using the ibis to help secure the W at the end of the last anime episode, do you guys think she’s unlocked the keys to her fears or was it just a one time thing? I know I’m not the only one who wants to see our favorite shorty Chica meteor and ibis everything into oblivion 😭

I really don’t understand Hyuse being selected to be in antibodies team. I share the same concerns as the higher up’s. Do they really expect Hyuse to be fighting with them when they reach Afto? Although we know that he was abandoned and betrayed and left behind, he still has his original master whom he’s loyal to. I assume Hyuse will become an enemy the moment they eventually land in Afto. What are your thoughts?

What do you guys think about Yōtarō? I find him really funny and cute. Does his origin ever get explained?

If World Trigger does eventually get a game, you think it would be cool if Tamakoma-2 or just Yuma is a secret boss fight? Would they be a regular boss? Or not a boss fight at all.

Either way, I can definitely see Yuma being busted out of his mind.

There was this winter special thing in 2024 for manga and anime and world trigger had some voice actors read their lines which were chika, Yuma, osamu, and katori...

Why katori she a fan favorite in japan? Jin's voice actor cost to much to make an appearance? Or is this a soft acknowledgment she's going to play a bigger role in the manga?
