Hi,
I jus want to be clear that I do not like fanserice, at all. It takes me out of the story being told, and it just makes me uncomfortable. However, I won't drop a show because it has a bit of fanservice, so long as it's good aspects outweigh the bad. For context, I am a Roman Catholic, and am very particular about the quality of shows I watch. One of my all time favorite animes is Neone Genesis Evangelion, since most of the sexual or suggestive content serves a purpose. With that said, I've heard that Kill la Kill is good, but that it is chock full of fanservice. I've heard online that it "tells it's message through the fanservice," but I just don't know if it's really worth getting through a lot of fanservice for whatever "message" it has. Is the story valuable enough that the fanservice is of little concern? Sorry for the long post, but if anyone has an answer, I'd greatly appreciate it!
It's called Manor of Monsters, a story where an encounter with some strange sodas unleash a 'wlid' change in Ryuko, Satsuki, Mako and the Elite 4:

Is it fixable?
(BTW this figure is soooo cute)
I went to half price books today and saw a Kill la Kill manga for $34 usd. Then i go to amazon and they are selling it for $16. Ive looked st other sites and the manga itself is priced around $16-$84 give or take. Can anyone explain why these ranges are so wide?!
I love this show so so much but every time I try to rewatch it I just get bored and drop it after like, the 6th ep. I think I just need to wait longer in between rewatches

I dont know where else I can ask a question like this.
What do you think about such a movie to be executed?
Do you think people would think its too horny to be live action?
For years i've pondered this.
Edit : i can see both movies play out in my head already - its just about how would a community react to the 1:1 movie from 'Anime >>>Live action'.
So far this screenplay/effects/costumes/actor race is innovatively produced and I'll tell you right now it looks very good as if its either by GAINAX/TRIGGER themselves or how you see movies like "Into the Spider-Verse"!!
Its immensely well put together - I've been working on this script for years now and - all i can be able to say is that its been looking like its faaaar too believable to just say people generally feel insecure about the genre rating....
It would be a film that would be the MOST NARROW execution for :
Anime >>>Live action
I want to explain more but I don't know where I would talk to people about it...
