A subreddit for fans of Norihiro Yagi's dark fantasy manga and anime, Claymore.
Discussions on the anime or manga are very much welcomed here.
Q. Will the anime get a reboot or a sequel?
A. Most likely not. There is little reason to believe the anime will see any new iterations. No official source has ever hinted at otherwise.
Q. Where should I pickup from if I just finished the anime?
A. Chapters 60-61 in the manga wrap up the Northern Conflict, though the anime diverges from the manga a little before that.
Q. Aw man, is the manga really over?
A. The manga has officially ended after 27 volumes.
Q. I have a super special question or theory! And I have art or other Claymore related things to post but don't know if I should...
A. Please, feel free to post all Claymore related things. Your questions, theories, and anything else are more than welcome. If you still want to screen your post, send the mods a message and we will get back to you ASAP!
Q. I have an anime subreddit! Can you post a link to it in your sidebar?
A. Message the mods! We're happy to discuss it.
Thanks!

Thinking about getting a claymore tattoo and wanted some inspiration to create one. Anything would be appreciated!
Have the flesh of friends or relatives in them?
When rubel finally tells Orsay that there are half awakened in the field in front of them, Orsay muses that the memories of the flesh might be pulling them back as “the body might have on the mind” comment really stood out from such a “scientific” mad man.
I think it was a amazing series for the first half but turned into mid on the later half. For the first half most chapters were a solid 9 or 8 out of 10 with few 7s here and there. I still remember the most iconic moments like yesterday. However, after a while there seems to be just too many characters and the plot seems to drag on. I feel like my enthusiasm slowly died out more and more and not even the end fight could brought be back. It was a still fun read but most of the chapters were in between 6 or 7 point out of 10 and a few 5 here and there.
So overall, I have to give claymore a 7.5/10 point. People had recommended me claymore to alternative to berserk and I can see its influence easily. For me, berserk was 10/10 manga with claymore at the start earning a solid 8.5/10. If it had protected its momentum, I could have gave it a better score but unfortunately it is what it is.
why don't she do hybrid yoma-human like the organization does?
First post on the subreddit - I'm so happy about how it turned out! Really proud to have it inked on my body, I finished Claymore recently and I fell in love with it's aesthetics, especially the twin goddesses, what they symbolise and all the references made to them throughout the manga. Hope u like it too! :)
Happy late thanksgiving to all my silvered eyes friends
Relatively new to reading manga. I feel like the panels in Claymore are easy to follow which especially helps during the action sequences. The story is engaging, excited to see where it goes. The way the author draws faces/heads was throwing me off at first, but it doesn't seem as jarring now.
Unfinished personal work.
Generally when a warrior is transformed into a Claymore, their hair loses color and their eyes become silver, however some warriors retain their hair color being known as colorheads and are considered to be failed creations of the Organization.
Clarice is one such colorhead who's really weak as her 47th position in the rankings indicate, but her backstory provides a clue as too why she's so weak, Dae mentions that a Claymores strength is related to her hatred of yoma, the stronger her hatred is the stronger she will be.
However if we look at Clarice's backstory, she was a orphan with no parents , family or home, she eat from the garbage and slept in ruins, all in all she had a pretty sucky life. So when the yoma and awakened beings attacked and destroyed her hometown she didn't really feel much anger or hatred against them and so her strength as a Claymore was extremely low.
In Those Who Rend Asunder part I, Ermita stands with Galatea on the other side of the mountain and asks her what she senses. She says:
I'm picking up yoki auras. One is powerful, two are average. Another is very small and insignificant.
Yet later, Miria tells Deneve, Helen and Clare that she'd estimate them all to be on par with the single digits. So why does Galatea read them as 'average' to 'insignificant'?
It's also always bothered me that Miria says that her initial impression of Clare was that she the most powerful being she had ever met. What's up with the discrepancies?
I dont understand why theres no studio would continue the most magnificent story ever
Hiii guyys a lil art I've drew recently, just simple art of Jean in suit.

No idea if this has already been pointed out, but it's occurred to me that the Dust Eater probably looks a lot like the way Neo moves in The Matrix. What do you think?
