    Does Aqua wear panties???

    Does Aqua wear panties???

My answer is definitely no! I don’t care what the people says about this! They have their thoughts, and others have another thoughts! Many people believe that Aqua wear panties, but invisible, just cause in the manga and in the light novel she has blue and white stripped panties, and also cause Kazuma uses his Steal skills to stole girls’ panties, and for that reason she has them invisible! But that doesn’t make any sense!!!

I understand many people believe that because of manga and LN, but that doesn’t me it’s also the same in Anime! I’m gonna share some proofs that Aqua doesn’t wear, but I guess that’s compleatly useless!

    1. Manga, LN and Anime are not the same thing! Obviously they show many scenes from the manga that exists also in the anime, but for some reason the panties aren’t shown! That’s because most probably they wanted to give a bit of glory in the anime, for the people watching! No other anime (maybe), do such thing, so we can say that this could be just to make us enjoy more the series!
    2. I’ve already told you that one of the reasons Aqua has invisible panties is cause she didn’t want to be stolen by Kazuma, but actually that’s not true! Since the first episode, where Kazuma was neutral, he didn’t do anything, so that’s definitely not the reason to make panties invisible!
    3. Aqua is a goddess of water, and she knows to do magic, but it’s impossible that she’s really expert to use the invisible magic: she never used any magic to make invisible things, so making panties invisible is definitely impossible for her
    4. We know that Aqua is a really dumb goddess, and for that reason also this. Even if she knew to use the invisibility magic, why would she make her panties invisible if everybody can see her naked bottom? Probably cause she’s really dumb to think about this!

That’s all I had to say! Just to know that I’m not forcing to prove to anyone that I’m right! I just wanted to show that there’s a high chance that this theory is also right, but nobody will never know! So you can believe me, or not, but I’ll always believe she doesn’t wear any! That’s it🙏

Is the manga really that bad?

I've already read the light novel and watched the anime. I've heard so many negatives about the manga that I stayed away from it until recently, when my library gave most of their manga for free. It's nowhere near as good as the source material but, it's a decent start for those who want a introduction or those who struggle to read, at least that's my opinion.

I kind of wish the world had more interesting positive male characters

I love so much about Konosuba, but given that it was meant to be a parody of Isekai tropes... but with the expansion of the IP, couldn't we get more varied and fun male characters?

Outside of Kazuma-- Mitsurugi is a fun character where he is initially presented as an antagonist but, even from the beginning, he isn't exactly wrong in calling out Kazuma for being utterly shitty to Aqua-- even if Aqua has come to accept that this stuff is going to happen to her. Yet we are presented from Kazuma's POV on their meetings and from Kazuma's POV he is an antagonist. This is repeated in future encounters, but they do ultimately become... well.. not friends but at least allies.

Dust is at least a male friend to Kazuma, but he is presented as utterly degenerate and only wishing to drag Kazuma deeper into degeneracy. Dust at least presents the shadow of the concept that Kazuma doesn't have to see every other man in the world as a competitor and refuses to form any male friendships-- except Dust is also the beginning and end of this.

Vanir is... well, he at least mostly presents himself as male even though he is a genderless mask. But Kazuma and Aqua did try to murder him more than once. But at least he is a constant presence-- more so than Dust or Mitsurugi to be honest-- but perhaps only because he can't possibly pose as a romantic rival for any of the women in the series except for Wiz.

Bukkororii isn't bad but it does feel like he has someone of a preset limited role in the series since he doesn't seem to be willing to move beyond his village and he's already got a very set love interest-- either he wins the heart of that fortune teller he has a crush on or he'll be alone forever-- and he thinks it is the later when the former does seem more likely.

Keith and Taylor get no characterization. Keith gets more character than Taylor, but it comes down to him being even more immoral and depraved than Dust. Taylor on the other hand? He is a non-entity-- there isn't any art of him, he doesn't play any role in anything. He is just a placeholder. Honestly-- Fio and Cremea who never get any character development get more than these two.

All of the original characters of Fantastic Days were female except for one-- Squall. He was a wolf beastman and compared to the female beastmen, Amy and Mia, he looked a whole lot more like a proper wolf rather than merely having dog ears. Apparently, at least Japanese women still think he is hot (based on limited anecdotal evidence) but he didn't even make it to being a proper playable character in the game.

Now I know I am ignoring some background characters like Ruffian, but... none of them are set to be developed into important characters.

For example-- I feel like an easy niche to fill would be that of Kazuma gaining a "kouhei" who means well but is easily manipulated or led astray. Or-- if the end-game is Kazuma and Megumin, at least introduce a real character who might be compatible with Darkness even if he seems like enemy at first.

Which volume of the LN is your favorite?

Personally I can’t decide between volume 15 and 16. Volume 15 has Serena who is an amazing villain and Aqua gets some well-needed focus while volume 16 has the best Kazuma moments in the whole series IMO. The scene where Kazuma and Aqua’s origin story being revealed to his party mates but nothing changes in particular is really touching and shows how close they are.
