hes Akais dad right? Or is he AKAI AKAI??
Hi, delete if not allowed but, I've been looking for a while and I was wondering where I could buy the Detective Conan Remastered dubbed series. I know it exists but can't seem to find any information on where to buy it.
I also would be fine with buying a Blu-ray version of the non remaster if that exists, but I only ask because I've found a lot of vague information online in terms of which sets have all of the episodes from beginning to end.
Thanks in adavance.
I liked the story complexity but felt ending could have been better where they discover the treasure to be of some real value. Hope next movie will again have more complexity story wise and ending really is great.
Here is a theory I have regarding his disappearance and whereabouts. Karasuma was about to die and he was the first to take the APTX 4869 thinking it was a cure to his disease but it ended up turning him into a child. In the Jet black bell tree express case Yukiko tells vermouth is there a reason you are hiding that Conan and haibara have been de-aged? Also the itakura software has something to do with that. It could probably be a software that makes the boss talk to the BO while still looking like Karasuma and hide his whereabouts when talking to them. In movie 26, the black iron submarine, RUM mentioned that he doesn’t know where the boss has been lately. It is because the boss is no longer having direct connection with any of the BO members. Vermouth is probably the only one that knows about it, which is why she is his favorite. She is the boss voice, and darkest secret. She could also be related to him. Additionally, the two men gosho introduced ( one of which is haneda koji’s dad and the other is probably Kuroba’s dad or grandfather) are big indicators that the boss is not an old man. It is a divergent from the truth, which is he de aged. He probably didn’t just de age like Conan and haibara since he tried an earlier version of APTX, but probably turned into a much younger version ( maybe even a baby) but with same mind. That is why vermouth needed that software and she has a grudge against haibara’s parents.
You know what? Things have been a bit negative around here lately. All this talk about toxicity, shipping, and just generally not having fun as much. And yes, I know I contribute to that my fair share after watching M27.
That being said, how about we get together and mention all the things we love about the franchise, the characters, the story, the setting, the fandom itself, etc! I think that would be fun! Could be as small and detailed as you want, or as broad and vague as you want!
And I'll start!
First, for a vaguer all-around thing, I just love Detective Conan, as a franchise, and I love all the years of entertainment and community it has given to so many people!
For a more specific thing: Agasa! I love Agasa! He is a true friend and stalwart companion to Shinichi through thick and thin! (Even when Shinichi insults his inventions at every step.) He is also the best father-figure Haibara could have wished for, AND the greatest grandpa the kids have. Not to mention that without him Shinichi would have died so many times! Also, aesthetically I love the fact that his design is so round as soft. My wife joked that she could draw him using nothing but circles.
So come on, let's be positive; what do you adore about the franchise and its characters! :)
Some of old episode are not for the kid I guess
some of y'all are aggressive when it comes on hater🤦♀️. Also let's not take them serious some of them are just Ragebait
One argument that annoys me to no end is when someone says that ShinRan is a bad couple, toxic or "badly-written" one. Sure, you can dislike their relationship and how it is flawed in a way, but realistically there's no such thing as perfect or ideological couple. That's not how things work in real life.
Calling ShinRan toxic and how Ran should be better off with other character (let's say, Eisuke out of all characters) or saying Shinichi is a bad person for keeping this a secret to her completely misunderstands the point of their relationship, their own characters and simply put, it's just frustrating to see.
Shinichi is not doing this out of malice or even want to hurt Ran in some way, he's actively trying to minimize the damage as much as possible.
As we see how the Black Organization is dangerous to mess around, as they coldly kills anyone who betrays them or even challenges them. And because of that, Conan is pressured by the likes of Prof. Agasa (from the second episode) and Haibara (from Desperate Revival Arc) into keeping a secret from anyone, even Ran.
This is to avoid anyone to be involved with Black Organization and be easily killed by them.
Conan truly cares a lot of Ran to avoid this happen. And you can say that Ran can handle the Black Organization because of her strength and how Conan should just... tell her the truth for it. Here's one problem and I'm saying as someone who kinda want him to tell the truth around the end of the series.
Because Ran is known for using her strength to try save people from danger, she's also as reckless as Shinichi. She went to save Sonoko in a falling car all back in Sonoko's Dangerous Summer case. Or even when she goes to stop a suspect in Akemi Debut case. Heck, even in M26 when she goes to save Haibara from Pinga. But she's not entirely invincible.
In fact, if she knows about the Black Organization even if Conan tells her not to get involved to, she'd try to get anyways. Because of that, it'll expose more danger for her if she tries to help in stopping the BO. Again, Black Organization is dangerous to mess around, and Conan is very scared that she end up getting hurt severely or even killed. He cannot forgive himself for even telling her the truth, in top of being pressured to not tell her. It's literally a massive hazard safety.
To put in simply, Conan is just too afraid of telling her the truth, and actively tries his best to not make her worry by trying to false his identity as long as he can. It is bad of its own, but he has no other choice.
Plus, he actually TRIED to tell her the truth, especially how he got convinced by Heiji in the Desperate Revival arc. Only until Haibara pressured him into not to do that and he just needed to choose the least bad decision to avoid any crisis.
And in "The Forgotten Memento from the Crime" episode, he says that he knows how much his secret identity is hurting her, and that if he brings his Shinichi self up more, she'll want to see him more and miss a lot. It'll hurt her even more if Shinichi gets more prevalent in her life during the Conan phrase. He just hate the idea of hurting her, even when she cries. And unfortunately, that's the unfortunate situation he's stuck with now.
It's clear that Shinichi/Conan has no bad intentions when trying to keep his identity secret and how he doesn't want to but have to. That doesn't necessarily make his actions good or beneficial, as it is flawed and still hurt Ran in some capacity. But people is talking at the wrong way to downright call it a bad and toxic relationship, and to villainize Shinichi/Conan because of it. And it just feels so frustrating to see how people still make it like the worst thing about the series, despite them not picking the big picture.
He's also shy with his feelings of Ran, so he couldn't even get to confess and even tell her his feelings, until London Arc where he had to calm her down when she runs out crying for upsetting her.
Their relationship is not perfect, it's quite flawed. But that's what made it compelling to watch and root for Conan to finally solve the BO situation and come back to Shinichi again. Their relationship is the definition of angst. They're put in unfortunate situation where they don't want to be in, and now they try their best to find something to feel comfort for. And also, they're 16-17 years old teenagers, so of course they can't find the best solution for both of them.
All that being said, you're still allowed to not like Shinichi x Ran or prefer other couples, it's fine.
Just please I ask you to respect people's opinions and avoid convincing others that ShinRan is bad and not normal to like. Everyone have their own thoughts and can enjoy their own favorite ship.
Let me know what do you think in the comments below, and hope I can manage to make good points about them. That's all.
TLDR; Shinichi/Conan is not a bad person in the situation, he's put at unfortunate situation where he has to protect Ran from BO dangers by not involving her, even telling her to not get involved won't work as she's reckless as him. They're just teens at the end of day.
It is well-known in the Organisation that Bourbon hates Rye. After Scotch died, it makes sense that Bourbon would hate the man he deems responsible for his friend's death. However, the author once said that Furuya never liked Akai.
A common idea is that Rei disliked Rye for being part of a criminal syndicate, therefore endangering his Japan. This, combined with Scotch's death, can explain most of his hatred against Akai.
It is probable that during the tea party with the Kudo, they finally buried the war hatchet and Rei now sees Akai as a worthy rival rather than a enemy he wants to kill. It is clear that they could achieve impressive results by working together. However, I wonder if their personalities are too different to ever really understand each other.
cuz what u waiting forrrrrrrr
Imagine the 2nd climax of the Rum Arc on a ship with all 3 Rum suspects on it and Rum kills one of Conan's allies. It would be cool considering Rum is the drink of Pirates ☠
See, I don't mean the failed Heiji confession, that was clear from frame 1. Even though I'll be honest, he did quite well. I don't even mean the reveal of >!Kaito's dad being alive. That got spoiled for me months ago.!< It's the WAY the reveal was handled.
First: Yusaku never mentioned >!TO HIS WIFE OF NEAR 20 YEARS THAT HE HAS A BROTHER?! Isn't 'Are you an only child?' question number 3 on a date? And his excuse is that he hasn't seen him in 20 years? That's it?! I haven't spoken in 20 years to a cousin I have, my wife still knows that he EXISTS! AAAARGGH!!!!<
Second:>! Toichi hides where he is from his son, and his wife, leaving them to believe he's dead for the sake of secrecy and their own protection... BUT IS PERFECTLY FINE TAKING TIME FROM HIS LIFE ON THE RUN TO READ HIS BROTHER'S NEWEST MANUSCRIPT?!?! AND TEXT WITH HIM!?!? Text him, using their ACTUAL INITIALS MIND YOU!!<
Gonna be honest... It was a little frustrating to watch.
Hi everyone! I wanted to see who is everyone’s favorite Detective Conan characters are and see who we agree on. Here are my top 10:
1-Akai 2- Amuro ( bourbon) 3- Conan/Shinichi 4- Heiji 5- Togo Mouri & haibara ( tie) 6- Kaito Kid 7- Ran 8- Vermouth 9- Gin 10- Yusaku Kodo
When is detective conan movie 27 coming out in online??
saw a post "what was the trickiest case for you" and thought id ask the opposite question.
and i dont just mean figuring out who did it. i mean the whole method.
for me it was the >!black knight case with the poison in the ice-cube!<. mostly because i recalled a riddle with a similiar idea.
Where is movie 27
It's November. Where is movie 27 on websites ?
Even tho the case is a normal one happening in a flashback. There is a little story developpement. Conan finally remembers meeting amuro a long time ago which doesn’t mean much since he already knows he’s a spy in the BO. What’s interesting is that amuro, who came to kogoros agency to fix the broken pipe, also remembered meeting shinichi and ran and finally made the connection realising that conan is the splitting image of the boy he met 10 years ago.
What do you think will happen next?
I'd I was ran in this situation. I would absolutely hate shinichi. I would block Shinichi. My heart would shatter if In ran situation. Also If i keep waiting and waiting on Shinichi. I feel I'm fool. I feel bad on ran
I need therapy if I'm ran i'm sorry🥲
Anyone know where to watch the movie yet?
If amuro user to be close the akemi and the myanos why he didn’t do anything when akemi was about to die ? and why was he OK with killing haibara ?
Another prime example of the power of a hairdo.
