THATS the ending? Everything happens so that griffith can turn into a demon and rape caska. All this talk about fate and predestined cobble stone paths and how every death and every character that came into griffiths life purely served the purpose of him being there to rape caska. Is there some secret last episode i dont know about?
He took Griffith’s behelit away from him! Nevermind the “making him reach his lowest point” portion, the torturer was actually trying to protect the world from Griffith! I think he deserves some credit for having the right idea lol
I’m looking to buy a physical copy of berserk but I’ve read up to chapter 191 online. I’m wondering what volume covers that chapter and beyond?
So this was a video someone took of my Guts cosplay at Corinth Cons contest, where I won 1st place in armor and prop. I had to be careful also where I was swinging the sword because if you look closely, a clip a ceiling panel. Still it was pretty hype for everyone when I screamed that one name. I'm also working on a video showing how I attach the dragonslayer to my back for fellow cosplayers so stick around. And still editing a video where I fight a Zoro cosplayer (a skit to be clear). So watch out for that. Thanks again for all the love everyone btw for the Berserk stuff. It does mean a lot as the series means a lot to me. Even saved me when I was in a dark place. So I really appreciate being the "Guts Berkman" of the subreddit.
Guts is no better than Griffith
1- Guts almost raped Casca when he saw her with a sword and naked, yes he was under the influence of the dark beast but he almost did it and hurt Casca and yes he stopped but there is a difference between a person who has humanity and loves Casca and someone like Femto who rapes Casca but has no humanity and human feelings and no deep love for her, we expect more from Guts because he can understand human feelings, Femto doesn't do that
2- Guts put the entire city at risk of genocide to hunt down a snake-shaped apostle so he could hide among their corpses, a completely evil act
3- Torturing an apostle to death in front of his daughter even though he knows that he is already in eternal hell and suffering from Vargas, a completely evil and pointless and even sadistic act on the same level as what Femto did to Guts by raping Casca
4- Allowing Vargas to Die, the good guy who helped him and even saved Puck's life, just because he knows it's a trap and hates him for being weak
5- Leaving Casca for 3 years because of his selfishness and personal revenge
6- Trying to kill Jill in Lost Children to kill another apostle
7- Guts and Griffith are both monsters and devils and the only major difference between them is that Griffith will do anything to achieve his own personal dream and ambition and Guts will do anything to protect his friends, but in general both are devils and monsters, for example Griffith saved Casca from rape without necessarily having anything to do with his dream but he had no problem using him as a tool and Guts saves Casca several times I think but in my opinion Guts can kill a completely innocent person for Casca or his group, if necessary it is not a moral act, for example Guts doesn't care about the thousands of people who were in the arc of Conviction and wanted They wouldn't have executed Casca even if it could have saved them. Guts didn't even consider that possibility. Now I'm not saying Guts should have allowed it, but saving Casca even at the cost of other innocent lives is not a moral act.
8-Griffith is a devil in the role of angel and savior and Guts is a devil in the role of protector, the good people here are Luca and Vargas, not Guts or even the band of the Hawk
9-Just because Guts grew up and opened up to others and made new friends and went on a so-called journey of self-improvement doesn't make his acts of genocide, rape, and torture any less. Those things don't make you a moral person.
Is it me or he actually looks like Griffith?
Given that the master Kentaro Miura passed away, and he only finished 41 volumes, and we have a few volumes from the new writing/drawing team Studio Gaga lead by Kouji Mori, I was curious if I am the only one who thinks I should stop collecting the volumes? as my last one that i am waiting to order Berserk: Ultimative Edition 21 (who has Berserk 41 & 42) and reading them made me a huge Berserk fan, but after the new team realized that with the chapters, my passion for the manga has gone down. As I feel like the quality of the writing is not at the same level and even the art fells a bit off to me... and I can't put my finger on.
Not trying to offend anyone! I am just struggling to make a decision, and I am asking for help with this.
Thank you so much
A friend of mine designed this for me and I’m about to tattoo this one because I had an myocarditis (heart muscle inflammation) as a kid. What y’all think about this one ?
But I think it was worth it anyway.
I just watched the movies with having no knowledge of this piece of media before.
My friend who has started with the movies then later watched the series said that most of the fandom agrees that they thoat he was the good guy at first even from just watching the movies and nothing else and were blindsided by arch lll.
I personally think the movie didn't even try, ut was clear to me he was the villain from that scene where he "wanted guts for himself" and everything else after only confirmed that so arch lll didn't phase me aside from leaning heavily into the supernatural elements things that weren't that prevelant in the first two archs but as of the premise it all made sense and didn't look out of character.
Am I in the minority because I can't be alone in this.
Again this is for someone who has only watched the movies it could be an entirely different experience if you watched the show and read thalr manga but I feel the movied didn't even try.
Like many, I first saw the anime (1997) and now I want to read the manga. But there are so many that I don't know exactly which ones are the right ones.
I often see the big black books but they are very, very expensive. I also found the Berserk Max manga series. Is this the right one to continue the story from the anime?
I'm really enjoying it. I love the blossoming friendship between Guts and Griffith.
