Hi Bird Gang!
My wife and I are traveling to Philly from Florida to watch the Eagles take on the Panthers. We will be there for a week and I am very excited. This is only my second trip to PA but I have been an Eagles fan since 2004. My wife doesn't know much about Philly but she lived in the Lehigh Valley from 2001 to 2013ish.
We were lucky enough to secure a tour of the Linc on Saturday and will be sitting in section 101 on Sunday. We wanted to tailgate last time but we were a bit shy about crashing someone's party. We are driving up this time and would like to tailgate. We haven't gotten a pass yet. Is there a section ya'll recommend? Perhaps a suggested drink to offer to various groups we approach? A secret password or handshake to endear ourselves to the locals? (We are familiar with "Go Birds" but do not know where to go from there)
I have only been to Philly one time before. That trip was on Christmas Day of last year to see the Eagles beat the Giants. We are both teachers so we had to leave the Monday after the game and didn't get a chance to do anything in PA. What is one thing that someone who has never been to your city experiences? Our itinerary so far is the Mutter Museum, Rockyfest, and (even though it's not in Philly) Chriskindlemarkt in Bethlehem.
Thanks in advance and Go Birds!
Reggie White Lurie enters his third season as Director of Joy for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Born on April 2, 2022, Reggie is a mini Goldendoodle who was named in honor of Pro Football Hall of Famer and Eagles legendary defensive end Reggie White. He serves as a fun and energizing playmate for players, coaches, and staff each day at the NovaCare Complex.
Reggie also provides support as the club's "dawg mentality" ambassador, embodying a mindset that is preached by head coach Nick Sirianni to his players. He is always turning the page to the next chew toy or recharging for another friendly walk around the practice facility.
As the title says, with the Eagles victory over the Ravens on Sunday, they become the new holders of the Lombirdi Trophy (aka The Birds Nest Trophy). They take the trophy and end the Ravens 5 year run as holders of the Bird Teams title belt.
Thanks to the work of /u/toga287 for tracking and alerting the Birdteams subreddit to the importance of the matchup. They have a great write up on the history of trophy here and a post describing Sunday's matchup here.

I’m going to my first game on Sunday, against the panthers, and I figured this might be the right place to ask for any tips for going to the Linc. Anything is appreciated. Thanks!
I was walking through Orlando airport yesterday and I was very surprised by the amount of eagles fans I saw !! From all ages , men and women draped in eagles gear all over the place! I could’ve spent all day in there talking to fellow fans!! I’m sure if we had more support from the media and the nfl we would be America’s team!!
GO BIRDS!! FLY EAGLES FLY BABY!!!!

Edit: I’m not saying we want to be americas team.. but we can’t stop people from joining the bandwagon if they wanted to…. I prefer to always be underrated and the underdog, we play better when we feel like have something to prove, hungry dogs run faster!!
I was given the okay to post these to Reddit every week! For the hardcore X's & O's geeks like me.

I’m not sure if this post is acceptable but I’m sure I’ll find out soon 😂 I’m going to my first NFL game this Sunday (eagles/panthers) any suggestion on what to wear to stay warm? It’s a high of 45 but I’ve heard it’s colder in the Linc (plus the shade won’t help matters). I’m a female btw! Any suggestions would be appreciated 😊
Let's go back to Day 2 of the draft. The whole time, Howie and company were trying to work their trades to time it just right so they could move up to grab DeJean, knowing there were teams eyeing him besides us. We considered Carolina at 39, but ultimately were negotiating with Washington at 40...until Jeffrey Lurie himself noticed that the Rams had jumped to 39. We thought that was it.
Link to video (should start at the moment Jeffrey realized the Rams had jumped up)
Luckily for us, the Rams weren't even considering DeJean. I watched the Rams draft video as well (worth a watch just to see how Braden Fiske and Jared Verse reacted to becoming teammates again), and they were eyeing that tandem on Day 1. Once they grabbed Verse, they zeroed in on Fiske.
Link to Rams video (should start on Day 2 when they're talking about how to move up to get Fiske)
As soon as we found out the Rams took Fiske, Howie swung the trade with Washington (with some hard-balling on both sides). It's a great move, because the Packers were sitting at 41 waiting for DeJean to fall to them. The instant we took DeJean, the Packers traded back with the Saints.

Our boys might be in the conversation for the best two DBs in football right now, which is F**KING WILD, but if you could only take one to build your defense around, who ya got?
So glad we don't have to choose 🥰
DeJean said “we planned this celebration”. Has anyone definitively figured out what this means?
While I like that Baun gets recognition, what are these people smoking? The Eagles drop a spot while the Ravens stay the same. This is some Eagles hate here.
