Unpopular Opinion: We should draft a QB.

The competition would push Brock to do better, and it would be good to have some additional long-term security at the position. Edit: To clarify, I’m suggesting a day 2 pick. A 2nd or 3rd rounder with high ceiling.

Going to Levi's for first time ever this weekend.

    Heyo faithful.

Planned a trip awhile ago with some family whom are bears fans to go to the game. Representing from Eastern Washington.

Been to several games at the stick as a kid, but this will be my first Levi's game.

Any tips for a first timer? We flew into SJ, and have Saturday all to ourselves. Also planning on arriving at the stadium a couple hours early on Sunday to absorb the festivities.

    Thanks.

    Draft Prospects - Too Early?

With our season hanging by a thread, our division is still winnable. Most of us are feel beaten down as a fanbase and already leaning towards next season. We have 5 games left. 2 are winnable, but injuries makes the other 3 is a tough hill to climb.

Currently, we are slated at 14 for next years draft. Who would you pick in next years draft? New York and Las Vegas will make a beeline for QB Shedeur Sanders, but do you think Ashton Jeanty would be available at 14? Or is do we need OLine help to replace a LT spot? Who would you pick and why?

Very accurate description of Niner Issues

    https://www.ninersnation.com/2024/12/4/24312244/kyle-shanahan-brock-purdy-deebo-samuel-trent-williams-49ers-2024-season#comments

This article really captures pretty much all the separate posts and comments I’ve made over the past few weeks.

Football is a team sport, and each component supports the others. When you are top-heavy with high-priced veterans (some of whom aren’t carrying their weight - or are in decline) it’s hard to make up for it when your best are hurt or hobbled. The fact that we’re 5-7 and had so many close games is testament to good coaching and positive team spirit.

    Levi's Section 142 (row 24) or 244 (row 1)?

I'm struggling to pull the trigger for this weekend's game. Trying to stay on home side since I have United status and would like to visit the club. Does anyone have an opinion on which section is preferred? I like the idea of first row in 244 but half way up 142 might be better since it's closer to the field. Is it easy to get to the Club from both of these sections? Any recommendations are appreciated. Thank you!

When George kittle retires, should he join the coaching staff of the 49ers?

I've been wondering this for a while seeing as kittle is getting older and when he retires in a few years I think he could be a great OC for Kyle shanahan. Interested to know what others have to say about this.

    This season sucks

This season is so bad for the 49ers, not even the loses to football. There have been multiple injuries, Wards 1 year old died and now Williams wife had a stillborn pregnancy at 35 weeks. Wth is going on?

    9-8 playoff chances

If SF goes 9-8 with a loss to the Lions

We have a viable path to the playoffs

31% odds if AZ beats Seattle this week

Seattle and AZ would both be 7-6

AZ would have 7 losses assuming we beat them so they would have to lose one of patriots Panthers Rams. Very possible

Seattle would have to lose two of Packers Vikings bears rams very possible (probable)

If Seattle wins, then we don't have to worry about AZ they would fall to 6-7 and we play them

Seattle at 8-6 would have to go 1-3 vs Packers, Vikings, bears and Rams. Which is not out of the realm

That being said.... We have to win games

Faithful to the end my boys

    Tank for Travis?

I've never been big on tanking and this is more of a pipe dream but drafting Travis Hunter would be awesome. I didn't think Kyle could pass him up if he had the chance. Do we lose enough games to be in the position to draft him? I doubt it, but I'm an optimist. In all reality a potentially high caliber starting OL or DL is the best option. Just getting this thought out of my head. What do you guys think?

Clinging to Playoff Hope: A Path Forward?

Hey everyone, I know things look rough right now. We’re not playing great, and making the playoffs feels like a long shot. Even if we get in, it’s hard to picture us going on a deep run.

But hear me out—I was messing around with the playoff calculator, and there’s a path. If we win out (which honestly feels doable against most of our upcoming opponents, except maybe the Lions), and if we get key guys like Bosa, Trent, Greenlaw, and Lenoir back, things could turn around. With a little help from a few specific results elsewhere, our playoff chances jump to about 75%.

I’m still feeling pretty negative overall, but this gave me a little spark of hope for the rest of the season. What do you all think? Are you feeling any optimism or still stuck in the doom spiral?
