I have been a fan since 2009, yes not for long in the eyes of some OGs in the base, but being half of my life it's felt like forever.
I have never been bitten by the vitriolic bug between us and the rest of the division (Except the purple incarnation of SATAN!).
Even in 2009 when Favre was the vikes QB to me it was, "oh our old QB went to another team in the division? That's awesome!" (Enjoy our ex you... you.. losers!)
The Lions had just drafted their own gunslinger in Stafford and started lighting up the league even when he was banged up which just added to the awe that was the 2010's Lions.
The Bears had just gotten Cutler and just felt like the younger brother trying to play with his older brothers, which was just cute.
But even with that the division games always were fun to watch, not so much the smash mouth football you got in the AFC North but it felt like our own brand of football.
With 8 division titles in the last 15 years I'd say it's been fun even when we were scraping by into the play-offs.
I have enjoyed seeing the success of the Lions, Vikings, and Bears even if it sometimes meant at our own loss, coz iron sharpens iron. This is one of if not the best divisions to watch especially this year. I hope the Bears can figure their front office quandaries out and develop Williams properly. I hope the Lions continue their success for years to come and become a genuine rival in the play-offs for us. I hope McCarthy heals up and can develop behind someone like Darnold or an established vet and get his chance to shine (Just kidding I hope you get relegated to peewee football Vikes).
I love our division and what it brings to our sport.
Love is love, love is life.
Go Pack Go!
P.S. I hate the Vikings
What are your predictions after the bye for the rest of season. Curious to see what people are thinking out there.
Going through some old stuff in my garage and came across these in a box of of stuff my mom brought over…
Hi All, I'm building a database of bars for fans outside the US to watch Packer games around the world. Finding up-to-date locations is always tough, but I wanted to survey the community. I appreciate all contributions from the country. I'm happy to give referral posts and will update everyone as this evolves. This is one of the best fan communities online for sure. Thanks so much!
Glass half full or half empty so far?
How did you find our glorious team?
Hi everyone,
Wondering what the best time is to buy tickets to go see next weeks game at Soldier Field. I’ve seen a lot of places that it’s best to wait til day before or day of, but unsure if that applies to such a huge rivalry match.
My goal was to buy tickets for <$500 taxes and feed included per person. Right now, there are a few good options when I look, but there are no ‘steals’ that make me want to buy immediately.
I’ll be taking my wife to her first Packers game and we’re flying in from out of town. I’ve already made other birthday plans for her in the city, so we’re committed going to this game no matter what, even if prices jump up significantly. That being said, I think I’m willing to take on a little risk to make sure she has the best experience.
Have some questions:
Any thoughts here would be so appreciated, especially advice for how to make my wife’s first time special. I’m excited to take her to Lambeau field in the future when our schedules line up better with the Packers’
Thanks in advance!
Hello everybody or like a northern german would say: Moin,
the Packers Germany, fanclub located here in Germany, does a get together for all the Packers fans at the scholars irish pub in Munich. Adress: Scholars Irish Pub 🍀 Hochbrückenstraße 3
It's only 5 minutes from Marienplatz and they are present on saturday and sunday. Sunday evening you can watch redzone there.
We germans hope for a great game despite the subpar matchup, so lets have some fun together during our bye week.
Have a wonderful Weekend and as always: Go Pack Go! 🧀
Should the Pack start with QB Malik Willis instead of Love next game? Trying to wrap my head around this.
I remember at the beginning of the season there was a joke making the rounds that Love only plays at an elite level during Toyotathon. Given the fact that the next game is around the time when Toyotathon typically starts, it looks like those claims won't be going away any time soon
Obviosly it's just jokes, but I just thought it was a funny point to bring up given the interception struggles this season so far
I was in another thread and somebody mentioned Detroit is a ball control team. And it occurred to me that I don’t really know what we are?
Are we an air it out team? Or a ball control team? A finesse or smash mouth team? Are we know to have a better offense or a better defense?
We are a young team. But what type of team? What type of team does MLF want us to be?
This is a ticket for a Packers vs Bears Game in 1940 at Old City Stadium in Green Bay. My grandfather took my grandmother there for a date early in their relationship.
Since the Pack are on their much needed bye week this week there’s other games to watch this Sunday. Personally I’m going to watch the Sunday Night Game Lions at Texans.
Anyone know where I can get one? Wife likes then and I want to get her one for Christmas. Hard as hell to find online.

After being cut by the 49ers as Jake Moody returns the New Jersey Jets released Riley Patterson and signed Anders Carlson to their practice squad
Carlson is expected to kick for the Jets this week
We have a lot of Favre stuff that we want to get rid of. Wondering if anyone has had any luck selling it? We have figures (some Danbury Mint), some jerseys and a signed football. Wondering if it will just be less headache to just donate it.
Wanted to know people’s experience with ticket prices. I plan on sitting in the outdoor club and was wondering if the price changes as much as the rest of the tickets do closer to game day. I’ve heard they get cheaper and more expensive. Thank you 🧀
