Nah, I'm just playing.
The Colts won Super Bowl XLI on February 4th 2007, when I turned 18. That means that as of tomorrow I will have been alive longer since they won than I was before and at this point it looks like it'll be another 18 years before they win it again
On his wife's Sunday Sports Club podcast this week he gave an overview of his career, and talked about a specific Colts coach he had. Would that be Brian Baker?
"Going to the colts derailed my career. I didn't vibe with my coach. He did not like me. I think I just immediately rubbed him the wrong way. When I went into that season, I was approaching it like “hey, I wanna understand your defense, can we go through this, why are you making this call when you make it? What do you need from me to be the best player I can be for you?” That's not what he wanted. He wanted someone who was like, “Man, I'm a dog. You put anybody in front of me...” And I'm like, just because I don't talk a certain way, or act a certain way, doesn't mean I'm not dominant and tough."
Just did a draft on PFF and this might be my favorite one so far...
His 40 yard dash was record breaking but there wasn’t really any big “wow” moment where he broke off for a touchdown and really showcased it.
Do you think he needs to slim down going into 2026?
Gonna keep this short-who thinks Ballard trades (or at least seriously considers) trading our 1st Round Pick?
Clip from the Pardon My Take interview with Andrew Luck. I knew I missed the guy but when he hit his hard count, it gave me goosebumps. Great overall interview if you’re feeling up for it. Full interview begins around 36 minutes. https://youtu.be/c8CpL5chiqw?si=844LR99Mw514IP6S
I think this will be a true test of whether Ballard is serious about making the appropriate changes to build back this franchise and this team. There will be so many teams in the running, and the Colts are obviously at a serious disadvantage. But you have to at least make a serious attempt at making this happen. Maybe it involves trading a couple of our guys along with some picks. But at this point, it’s put up or shut up.
Pop your mock drafts in here.
The colts have won 2 super bowls (should have a lot more) we’ve won Super Bowl 5 and 41. I know the colts were in Baltimore when they won Super Bowl 5, but it’s still the colts who won that Super Bowl. In Lucas oil there aren’t any Super Bowl 5 champions banners and they only display the 1 Super Bowl 41 Lombardi. We have been known to hang ridiculous banners in the past but I don’t think hanging our Super Bowl 5 stuff would be like that.
Should be interesting to hear
Has a GM in any profession had a worse 24 hours than this?
