I'm from out of town and we are going to the game for the first time tomorrow. Everywhere I've researched says to just take the blue or silver line to Morgan Blvd and walk the rest of the way but the trip planner on WMATA is saying we need to get off way earlier and take a bus?
Should I just go with the blue line? Any tips would be appreciated.
I’m sorry, i’m traumatized I can’t take this anymore. Thank god we are making a playoff run this year
I don't really care that it's a fake jersey I just want to wear a Daniel's jersey while I watch the games.
Great news before the game!
Remember it can be anything related to the commanders, even a mascot!
Can’t make this ish up. Part of Florio’s reasoning for a Steelers win was that in a 2012 game against the Steelers, Washington got too cute and had RG3 run a route causing him to get hit.
I know we're all happy about Snyder and his 20 yr legacy of dysfunction and Napoleon complex being kicked out but how about adding Josh Harris instead?
Has anyone heard from the company on when these will ship? We all got the email saying there will be delays (apparently we ordered more than they expected), but it's going on almost two weeks processing with no news. I'm considering trying for a refund, which is sort of disappointing, because I was initially really pumped to get it.
I’ve been searching online for anything and haven’t come across any updates since late October. I worry sometimes that when the angry mob dies down, the case suddenly loses steam and charges get reduced. I still feel sick over what happened and at the prospect of this rich prick getting off with probation or a warning again. Anyone know of any updates to this case?
The Vermont voters have spoken Jayden Daniels is just as popular for President as Taylor Swift
Is tailgating allowed in gray lot?
Shoutout the person who posted the same question but in the Saints subreddit
With Brian Robinson out and Chris Rodriguez having used up his callups we either have to settle for Michael Wiley or Kaz Allen as a callup or make a roster move.
I suppose theoretically we could ask for a roster exemption for Lattimore who is an injured player just received in a trade, but I doubt we'd get it.
So we probably need to cut someone. We do have a few warm bodies we could do that with. We could cut Driskel and only work with two QBs, or dress Hartman from the PS as our emergency guy. Otherwise there's Colson Yankoff, Jalyn Holmes, Dominique Hampton, Mychael Walker, Michael Davis and Emmanuel Forbes.
I don't think it'd be Forbes. If we were willing to cut him we'd have dropped him instead of Obada
Actually, looking at the injury report Yankoff is out. So put him on IR instead of cutting him.
Also hoping we dress Zane Gonzalez tomorrow, just in case
KC fan here, wanna check in on few lineman we loved as Chiefs. How have they held up since coming to you guys? Both were versatile for us, plugging in at multiple spots during their time with KC. Curious if they've been any good.
Barring his accuracy which is top notch, his ability to make things happen with his legs, his anticipation, and his intangibles, there is one thing that I’ve noticed that I think will make Jayden Daniels an elite quarterback in the NFL for years to come. It’s his ability to play in structure. He seems to run plays effortless, exactly how they were drawn up. It’s one of the biggest indicators of a great quarterback and why guys like Tom Brady were so good for so long. Tom Brady was the best at running plays just as they were drawn up and taking exactly what the defense gives him on every play. This is why we are able to march down the field on the majority of our drives. This one thing is what separates him from the other quarterbacks in his class like Caleb Williams. That much was apparent in our game against the Bears.
Just one of the draft obsessed commie fans here eager to talk shop for the 2025 NFL Draft. We’re projected to have picks 1.29, 2.62, 3.72, 5.144, 6.206, 7.237, and 7.241. With a splash trade for Marshon Lattimore at the deadline, how do you feel we’ll approach the early rounds? Here’s my current draft take:
#Round 1 Pick 29
Option 1 - Shavon Revel Jr, CB East Carolina - Going with an outside lockdown CB here would be huge for our defense despite the addition of Lattimore. St-Juste and Igbinoghene are both FA’s after the season. I wouldn’t mind bringing either back for a reasonable price, but getting a guy that I think is the 3rd best CB in the draft at the end of the 1st would be a huge get. This kid unfortunately tore his ACL in September which may hurt his draft stock. He’s a fast fairly twitchy highly instinctual corner with ideal frame standing tall at 6’3”. His tape is great and I highly recommend checking him out. Him, Marshon, and Mikey would have opposing receivers in hell
Option 2 - Princely Umanmielen, DE Ole Miss - There are solid edge prospects in this draft, but I really don’t know who’d be available for us this late in the 1st. Part of me thinks James Pearce Jr. out of Tennessee could fall due to size concerns, but realistically we’d be looking at someone like Princely here. His production has been great averaging one sack and four pressures per game at a 17% pressure rate. He’s a 5th year guy that’ll be 23 his rookie year, but I don’t see that as an issue. He plays urgent yet patient if that makes sense. An explosive yet methodical edge rusher that I think would fit well on the line
Option 3 - Jonah Savaiinaea, OT Arizona - My achilles heel apparently is scouting tackles, but I like what I’ve seen from this kid. A versatile bookend that can dominate on both sides of the line. He has only given up 6 sacks on nearly 1,500 pass blocking snaps. He has great length to play tackle at the next level but he can also play guard if called upon. With his hands and footwork, dude looks refined and ready to bully in the league
#Round 2 Pick 62
Option 1 - Tre Harris, WR Ole Miss - This kid might wind up a 1st round pick but I’ll remain optimistic that we can land a 6’3” 50/50 menace that has good speed for his size and plays like a dawg. He gets at it with his run blocking and isn’t afraid to plow through dudes after the catch. He’s another 5th year guy, but again not as big of a problem as it typically is made out to be
Option 2 - Maxwell Hairston, CB Kentucky - This guy has Commander written all over him. He’s the most AP prospect I’ve scouted so far. He plays lockdown D at 6’1” and is an absolute dawg. He suffered a shoulder injury earlier in the season. The way he plays reminds me of a taller Mikey with an equally psychotic motor. This is my 2025 draft crush and I hope he lands here
Option 3 - Jihaad Campbell, LB Alabama - Defensive leader for one of the best programs in the country. The kid looks the part and plays the part well. He is a versatile ILB that plays vicious and tracks the ball like it owes him rent money. Great against the run and getting better in coverage. If you watch his tape, you just know he’ll test well at the combine and be all over AP’s radar. Let him learn from Bobby and Luvu and the kid will be a problem
#Round 3 Pick 72
Option 1 - Xavier Watts, S Notre Dame - We missed out on Hamilton (thanks Ron) so let’s grab the next best safety to come out of ND. On a serious note this kid looks like the acrobatic psycho you want playing back there. The very limited dive I did had me excited to bookmark it and pick it back up once I’m able to. He’s a PFF darling this season so that’s not good for landing him in a spot like this. He’ll absolutely be a riser the closer we get in this process
Option 2 - Josaiah Stewart, DE Michigan - A short king. He is going to fall for his size, but we’ve seen many short edge rushers come in and have great careers. Him and Jerry Hughes are similar in size. This kid plays with a batshit crazy motor and I love it. He’s constantly winning matchups and would thrive with our defense. He needs to clean up his tackling and a bit of his technique, but if he was 3 inches taller he’d be a 1st rounder without a doubt
Option 3 - Kyren Lacy, WR LSU - Give Jayden one of his college weapons fuck it. Lacy will be another riser as we get closer to the draft. He’s more of a route technician than he is a speed demon, and at 6’2” that’s perfectly fine with me. If he has been able to win reps in a room with Nabers and BTJ, that tells you plenty. He’s also solid with run blocking which is valuable in our offense
Alright I’m done with the options and lengthier excerpts from here lmao
#Round 5 Pick 144
R.J. Harvey, HB UCF - Half of his yards come after contact. His numbers are absurd and his tape is fun to watch. He’s an absolute stud and someone that could make things easier going into a BRob and Ekeler contract year. He’s someone that’ll probably get “reached” on and I wouldn’t blame any team
#Round 6 Pick 206
Hollin Pierce, OT Rutgers - This kid is an absolute unit and has a lot to work with in the big leagues. I doubt he’s here this late given his potential. 6’8”, 5 sacks in 4 years, one of the highest graded bookends by PFF this year, and he’s just not afraid to maul people
#Round 7 Pick 237
Carson Bruener, LB Washington - He’s on my list to watch some tape based off how great he has been playing. Versatile LB that can line up all over the field and give you results. He seems like a dawg
#Round 7 Pick 241
Sai’vion Jones, DE LSU - He has shown a lot of potential despite not dominating the stat sheet. A bigger body that has some versatility in the trenches
Who are some guys you're keeping an eye on for the draft?
From top to bottom this team has so many likeable players. Great owner,GM,Coaches. I absolutely love this years team. With the addition of Lattimore I really feel like we absolutely have a legit shot at a championship this year. Just trying to keep the good vibes rolling.. HAIL!!!! P.S F you Dan Snyder!
Hey Commanders Fam, My buddy and I are going to the Commanders vs. Titans game (we are both Commanders fans). We haven't been to a game since pre-COVID. Has anything changed with the food/bar options near the stadium? The last time we went, it was basically a no-man's land.
We'd like to check out a fun pre-game tailgate option. I've seen ES Skins, DTC mentioned on this sub. Are there any more? Can you just show up to these? Or if any friendly fans would let us crash their tailgate!? We'd greatly appreciate & bring ample food/booze!
