1- Be civil. This is a forum for Giants fans and those interested in the Giants. Trolls will not be tolerated.
2- Check the new queue before posting. Duplicate posts will be removed.
3- All news should be sourced. Sources, in this situation, mean something you can link to.
4- When submitting a Twitter post as a thread, include the author of the tweet, as well as the full text of the tweet in your thread title.
5- You can be a redditor with a website but not a website with a reddit account. Message the mods with your submission before posting. We reserve the right to remove any blog posts, Twitter chains, podcasts, etc. that do not contribute to the subreddit.
6- Memes are allowed as long as they are relevant to the giants or topics currently on the sub. Memes that don't relate to the giants or sub (eg. Trevor Lawrence) will be removed.
7- Low effort posts will be removed. Post like "Who should we draft" and "Who should we replace Gettleman with" with no analysis are low effort.
8- When submitting a new post, the title should describe the submission. The purpose of a title is so people reading it (and looking for it) will know what they will find inside without any unnecessary clutter. Make sure that your title does that as best as possible by avoiding editorialization, misleading wording, or false titles intended as a joke.

Since the last several years have been awful for us outside of two seasons , I just wanted to reflect and discuss something positive, and nothing short of incredible. Eli is the embodiment of the phrase “ I didn’t hear no bell “. He is the definition of the unbreakable human spirit. I know this is well known in the fan base, but it’s truly amazing. With all of the constant injuries we’ve had over the Last several seasons, it really puts into perspective how tough Eli was. Since drafting Jones, we have not had a fully healthy starting lineup on the field at the same time, on either side of the ball. Even before that too. Some key player has always been injured. Eli is seen by many as goofy, but in reality, he’s one of the toughest football players to ever play the game. Physically and mentally. He is the definition of what it means to be a Giant. I mean, he is the definition of what it means to be American. Let’s stay positive, we will have our time again. Name your favorite “tough” Eli memory , Giants memory etc, so we can be reminded that this is a legendary, 4 time Super Bowl winning franchise , Go Giants.
What do you guys think?
To preface, this is not me saying DJ is our future, or he’s the one to take us to the SB, or anything like that. My quick view on DJ’s talent is simple: I think he’s better than what he showed last season and could be better than what he was in 2022.
The real point of my post is that the negativity around DJ is so strong in the fan base right now that rooting for DJ’s success seems taboo.
I get that we want him cut after next season and we want to move on. Believe me, I want a change at QB too. But this season, 2024, I will root for him to ball out because he’s QB1 of the Giants and I am a Giants fan. Simple as that.
What’s the worse that can happen? If he balls out and plays up to or surpassing his contract value then it’s a success. If not, we cut him and look towards other options in FA or draft.
Simply put, I want him to win games and have success next season, not for him specifically, but for the Giants as a whole.
Agree or disagree?
For the first time in a long time i get this same tingling feeling thinking about our current d-line
Trying times...but we still bleed blue (and red 🤷🏾♂️)

I honestly do not have a focus for this discussion other than the title but I feel the sub has enough chill to handle this with open arms. I myself don't think I can really answer the question when I immediately try and look at the Giants over these last 10 years let's say... but how I tend to enjoy the game itself is consistent in my view.
Eli was Eli the GOAT!, but 2016 was pain, we won now; enough games to make a playoff run in that season. However the run up to it all was filled with a lot of struggle on offense, on defense, on special teams, in many areas and our cope having to possibly watch the last great showing of the one true Iron Man of his era was a heavy burden.. but still the team managed to come away with enough W's to get in to the hunt and we rode that high as far as it could take us (no diddy)... and well.. Pain.
Now that might be my "narrative" but what's yours? Do the stats get the plaques? or is an ugly W the story to be told?
Edit: Appreciate everyone/anyone that has participated. Yes, everyone.
