With free agency fast approaching, what are you guys' hot takes for it? I have 2. The first is that the Bucs will make a big splash on defense, signing either a top edge rusher, linebacker, or DB. A few options could be Khalil Mack, Josh Sweat, Zack Baun(if available), Charvarius Ward, or DJ Reed. My 2nd hot take is the Bucs should sign Zach Wilson as a backup/development option. He is still pretty young, plays similar to Baker, and would get to come work with Thad Lewis who did a great job with Baker helping to revitalize his career.

In all seriousness, King Grizzard seems like the exact type of OC we need to kick ass next year. Baker, and the team don’t have to learn from a new OC, King G wants to have same plan of attack and scenes as Coen did, was our mastermind being 3rd downs which we were the highest in the NFL, and just seems like a really really awesome dude. I’m super excited and looking forward to this season with our new OC, ALL HEIL KING GRIZZARD AND HIS BAND OF LIZZARDS!

I wanted to put together a mock draft to see what fans want at different times in the off-season and make a video on it. Any buc fans keep tabs on the senior Bowl this year? Given the recent draft history of this team they will most likely draft a few players who participated in the senior Bowl. I took a look at the wide out group and I do like Jaydin Higgins a big bodied receiver from Iowa State and I even like the smaller wideout from oregon Tez Johnson this dude will wreck havoc in the slot. I'll post my defensive guys later on since we all know that side of the ball needs the most help.

We've been getting reports from users and the mods in the Jags sub of our users going over there and being combative and in general being nuisances. I know we've seen a lot of Jags fans coming in here doing the same but we've also banned plenty of those guys.

If your name is reported by the mod team from the Jags for trolling you will be banned here as well.

In 2024, Grizzard served as a pivotal resource for then OC Liam Coen by looking at league tendencies to implement into the gameplan to maximize the club's personnel. He specifically looked at the use of shifts/motions and how to use it to generate space and attack zones, which paid dividends in the unit's efficiency down the stretch. Grizzard was tasked with strategizing for third-down situations during the week of game preparation and the Bucs led the NFL with a team-record 50.9% third-down conversion rate in 2024.

During his time with the Dolphins, Grizzard served as a quality control coach (2017-19, 2022-23) and wide receivers coach (2020-21). He was a part of four consecutive winning seasons with the Dolphins – accomplishing the feat for the first time since the club did so in seven straight seasons from 1997-2003. Grizzard contributed to an offense that finished the 2023 season ranked first in yards per game (401.3), passing yards per game (265.5), and yards per carry (5.1), while ranking second in yards per play (6.5), net yards per pass attempt (8.0), and points scored per game (29.2). During his time as Miami's wide receivers coach, Grizzard worked closely with Jaylen Waddle, who established the NFL's then-rookie-reception record in 2021 with 104 receptions for a club-rookie-record 1,015 receiving yards.

Prior to his time with the Dolphins, Grizzard worked as a graduate assistant/quality control coach for Duke University (2013-16) where he coached quarterback Daniel Jones. Grizzard helped the Blue Devils reach their best three-year stretch (2013-15) in school history, where the team earned 27 wins, an ACC Coastal division title and three consecutive bowl appearances.

Just curious to see what we think. We have great talent but I can’t say many currently stand out as being HoF worthy. I am not saying that to be rude or critical - the HoF requires consistent output at a high level and we currently have a lot of young talent that haven’t had the time to stack up great seasons.

Who would you bet is next in line? Mayfield? Winfield Jr.?

For our current candidates, if Evans has another 1,000 yard 10 TD season that’ll put him #16 all time for yards (between Torry Holt and Julio Jones) and #8 all time for TDs.

As for David, another 80 solo tackle season puts him #4 all time.
