I live near Seattle but have managed to harangue my kids into Philly sports fandom (aside from the UW Huskies, which is OK). With Christmas coming up, I want to get them some fun Philly gear, but not necessarily team apparel. I know about Phillygoat. Any other recs for team-adjacent apparel?
Would you rather Soto at say 600 million 10 years or 3 solid players at 20 million a year for shorter say 3-4 year contracts? If you want the 3 guys who would they be?
Both are 60 million a year. One is shorter commitment with more flexibility, the other is the best player available who you can lock down for a long time at 26 years old.
I’m looking for a baby blue Phillies jersey for a gift and am not usually the type to buy merch so I’m not sure where I can find a decently priced jersey. On the official site, it’s about $170, is that standard? If you have any suggestions on where and when (if there’s sales I should look out for) I should look I’d appreciate suggestions.

#2 is quite surprising to me with how much we underperformed again. But I have confidence in Dombrowski and the front office and more importantly Andrew fuckin Painter locking down and fixing that 5th Starter spot.

Who else was there? I was 13 and took a train there and had no cell phone reception 😆
I thought i did but i dont.
Well, the MLB season is finally over, the Dodgers are champions, the Yankees chocked, the Mets blossomed, and Cleveland had hope
as the Phillies croaked, and the Padres moped, the Braves were to hurt to do anything but roast
The O’s were embarrassed, it was a pity, couldn’t take a game against Kansas City, who may reign in football glory, but they sure felt baseballs fury,
The Tigers had everyone on their side, but like all teams in Detroit, just tipped and died, but but they did one thing nice, beating the Astros, not once, but twice
The Brew Crew went boo hoo in to the night, just like all of the teams who couldn’t do it when light were bright
To all of you fellow Phillie fans, just remember, it’s not just us feeling it, with the World Series finally coming to an end, so does the baseball talk until about march, I hope you have a nice offseason before falling back into the depression of being a fan
Go Phillies, get it done this time

Despite the horrific end to our season, I can finally rest knowing these facts.
Does anyone have audio/video clips of Gary Matthews “Sarge” calling home runs with his signature references to “Cadillac time” or “stepping into the Cadillac”. I cannot find anything anywhere.
