So pretty much like the questions asks.. I was listening thru the audacity app today and have had no issue using the app as that’s how I listen to most Phils games cause of my work schedule. But prior to today, driving around the Hammonton/Winslow Township, NJ area in my car (standard terrestrial radio) on Monday and Tuesday, the static was intolerable and I could start making out some Iron pigs snippets here and there. Anyone else hear this?!?!

Hello, this would be my first time at a Phillies game. I was wondering what seats are considered to be good? It’s also getting pretty hot during these next few weeks, nice spots with shade would be nice as well haha Thank you.

Last night very shortly after the walk-off against the Padres I heard a jazzy/swing-dance type song being played over the stadium’s speakers. I couldn’t catch any of the lyrics but still really enjoyed it and want to know what it was. Does anybody here know what it was?

My 5 year old just mentioned earlier this week how much she wants to run on the field, and today is kids run the bases. I read an old post with lots of good info about leaving the park & lining up at the 7th, joining the kids fan club for front of the line wristbands, etc. But I’m still unclear about how parents leave & retrieve kids, and wondering if an unaccompanied 5 year old has any business participating. I’d definitely send her with an older sibling if I could but her 11 year old sister is off living her best life at the shore. Advice or extra info that may help me figure out if we do this now or wait until she’s older?

I must have been 1969 or 1970 and I would have been 8 or 9. We went to see the Giants play the Phillies at Connie Mack Stadium (a complete dump that nobody who actually remembers it misses). We got there early, and I remember two things about the game, both from before it started.

We saw Willie in batting practice and he hit one OVER the left field bleachers. Maybe it landed on the roof, but it was impressive.

A little later he came to the stands just beyond first base to sign autographs. A mob of little boys fought amongst themselves to get to the front. We were too far away, although I was very jealous of the kids who were there. An old fart security guy came over to shoo the kids away and Willie chewed him out. The guard slunk away and Willie went on signing.
