Usually tailgate west of the stadium and was thinking about checking out the Pregame at the Banks. Opinions from those who have been in that area before a game? Is it a good time? Too busy? Good place to park that won’t take forever to get in and out to 75? Thanks!
It appears there are some things floating around online questioning Burton being on the active roster tomorrow. Noteworthy "insiders" have alluded to something happening and numerous Bengals player family members have all but confirmed it.
Earlier today Burton scrubbed any semblance of the Bengals off of his IG and there were some interesting things posted on his story (since deleted).
This will be so disappointing if WR1-3 will be Chase, Iosivas, and Irwin...
(This will be deleted immediately if unsubstantiated at the release of the inactive report tomorrow).
i’ll never go to skyline again if dey don’t make the playoffs this season. make my way a sky dey.
Sure, Mixon plays well at the Texans and I'm really happy for him. He is an awesome guy, absolutely.
But last season (and actually the season before and I think even earlier) people were cussing out our FO for not cutting Mixon and were blaming him for our bad run game.
Hell, lots of posts were about giving Brown more snaps over Mixon last season.
I don't remember any post saying "we must keep Mixon".
Does anybody really believe Mixon would elevate our running game compared to Moss and Brown?
Or that we would be 6-2 with Mixon as opposed to the others?
Let's just be happy for an awesome ex-Bengal.
And my personal opinion is: our running game definitely is an issue, but our running backs are not.
Can we please make a trade for an impact player so we don’t look like ass on Thursday night?
We
Feel free to chat about anything you want.
I’m tempted to but I don’t want to stick out like a sore thumb if I’m the only one.
It could be his age….. It could be their record…..
Joe doesn’t seem to be the same old Joe Cool that we are accustomed to. It could be living in Cincinnati. It could be many things but It feels like we are losing Joe as that swaggy stone cold killer we all want him to be.
His stats are incredible but it doesn’t feel like he is going to win at all costs anymore. Like his confidence has taken a huge hit.
What do you all think about what we will see from him for the rest of the season?
People on here always complaining about how we didn't sign Bates, Reader, Mixon, etc. It's not like we didn't want to, the problem is we couldn't, we don't have the cap room. Also the misconception that we are too cheap to sign people isn't correct either, we literally have the highest active cap spending in the league. We spend the MOST on players in the whole league. The problem is we didn't draft well enough to replace key players and we gave too much money to people who didnt deserve it. Its not that we didn't sign people.
So if you want to complain about the front office then complain about those points and not that we are refusing to sign people.
After watching Mixon in this first half in TNF… I hope Duke Toban and Zac Taylor wake up in the middle of the night to pee and stubb their toes really hard. To the point their toe nails fall off over time. Same with all the fans who thought Perine was better, and that Chase Brown would be the answer. It was never Mixon as the problem. The bengals Run scheme is awful has been awful, and continues to be awful, and Pollack can’t coach that OL to do the Hokey Pokey if he tried.
My thoughts on watching the Bengals:
We need a run game, I think it's the formations and play calling, not so much the talent
On defense, we need run stoppage, and we need better edge coverage, no talent issues
I think the talent is there, we need better understanding of protections with first downs and situations, basically coaching insight
We all get frustrated when we can sit on our couch and watch these things unfold and we're right
I mean c'mon, that shouldn't happen, is the coaching staff too scared, conservative, analytical, incompetent?
Frustrating
Any Bengals bars in LA? Bengals tailgating options for the Nov 17?
