Holy mother of god and sweet Jesus Christ. Happy Easter!
i was talking to a friend who said they were a huge veep fan and when i said daniwah they gave me such a blank stare?? is it really that ambiguous because i thought it was one of the funniest stupidest little segments from the show.
Did Eleanor Roosevelt eat pussy?
Juliette Louise-Dreyfus is so freaking funny. But this show is written so well.
The guy that plays the VP candidate, Tom James is very good also.
Ik no one asked but I am so heart brocken after finishing this show
I'll be honest, only got into the show after watching avenue 5 and I only watched because I had just finished house
It was amazing, I finished the whole thing in probaly 2 weeks at the most.
The ending was.. ok I didn't mind but I also didn't see any other way. I tend to be a sucker for the main character and was always rooting for selina. Atleast I was until the whole Chinese business. That was where I got almost annoyed for the terrible situation she put herself in.
I truly lost all hope after she hired Jonah. That and when she ripped tom a new one. I loved them together, even though I know they were quite toxic, I just wanted one of hugh Laurie's characters to finnaly be happy 😭😭
Anyways she got what she deserved, slay Richard, Amy and Dan should have been endgame, Tom and selina should have been end game, and poor Gary. Also fuck Jon a h.
The similarities and "predictive nature" of the show is starting to go beyond just Kamala...🤣🤣
Big VEEP fan and have rewatched it an embarrassing number of times. Through my rewatches, I’ve noticed funny little inconsistencies and wondering if people have other ones to add to the list:
I know I am forgetting some, but that’s all I can think of right now…
I was just watching S4E2 East Wing and hadn’t picked up on Jonah crossing his fingers and saying “me and the president are like this…not to scale of course.”
What are some other hilarious lines that fly under the radar?
When Ben says this in the finale. What it is he is specifically referring too?
Is it to throw Gary under the bus?
Is it kind of odd Doyle and Selina’s ex are both named Andrew? They were both introduced around the same time and early in the run. Didn’t think Doyle would be a significant character?
(Sorry if this has already been discussed im new to the sub)
World
For example,
"None of us came out of this hearing unscathed Bill."
Put spoiler tags because I don’t want people who haven’t watched all the seasons to comment yet! My personal opinion: Catherine, Selina, or Gary.
I’m really curious if other people feel this way. I really feel like Gary deserved his ending.
I’ve watched through the show 6 times. I’m extremely hyperfixated on it right now. A few friends originally turned me onto it and when i talk with them about the ending, they talk so much about feeling so bad for Gary! i almost feel like a sociopath because i feel zero sympathy.
He was a bully and went out of his way to try and hurt people. He enjoyed watching Amy get shamed by Selina over the bulimia stuff. During the height of Selina’s depression he purposely tried to isolate her from others to get more alone time with her. He was extremely inappropriate on multiple occasions at work. He supported every awful thing Selina did. He exposed Mike for voting in Georgia to get the attention off of him.
Is this a popular opinion? Or am i totally alone on an island?
Everyone is horrible and that's why it's so great. I come from West Wing so I was so endrenched with the politics of noblism and Martin Sheen ol Liberal Grandpa. But now I'm at Aunt Selina's house where everyone is literally shitty.
Mike's shitty. Amy's shitty. Dan's especially shitty. Gary's shitty. Kent's shitty. Selina is the queen of the shitdom.
I love it. Everyone's simply fantastic at their roles and they know how to make their mediocrity amazingly realistic.
Honestly insane how similar she is to Selina
