This might be a little off the wall, and I'm new to the group, so I don't know if it's been covered already or not. But I'm looking for book recs that have that Veronica and Weevil vibe/chemistry.
I've always felt like there was something unrequited there...
My Logan + Veronica edit for anyone needing some LoVe this week 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Anyone who leaves a comment on YouTube is immediately my best friend 🥹
Aside from being cool, did the show creators ever explain why they chose planet names. If it was real life, this would be a fun coincidence. But is there a deeper meaning behind it?
My guess would be something along the lines of Veronica being so far ostracised from the town it’s like bring from a different planet
Calling all Marshmallows!!
I'm making another Logan/Veronica edit and need ideas. Please tell me your favourite moments of them throughout the series (with episode titles if you can remember).
I will try to include as many as possible!! 🫶🏻🥰
Edit: thanks everyone for what you’ve suggested so far!! Pls keep them coming. Also, does anyone know if a version of the epic speech exists online without background music??
Of course it goes without saying that this thread will have enormous spoilers for Season 2, but it’s just that despite finishing the season, I still couldn’t understand why he blew up a school bus as basically I wanted to understand his motives as a character.
Ken Marino (aka Vinne Van Lowe) has a band. Here is Islands in the Stream with Kristen Bell.

SO MYSTERIOUS
…actually kill Lilly? They somewhat play it ambiguously. He always maintained his innocence. He sort of confirms it with his threats to Veronica after he’s released from prison at the end of season 2. But do they ever outright say it was him?
Even in season 4 the conspiracy theories are still circulating.
I still believe Duncan had something to do with it. He seemed overly close with her in their flashbacks. Snuggling on the sofa etc. And considering he still pursued Veronica in spite of him suspecting they were siblings. I wouldn’t put it passed him to have feelings for Lilly too
I just finished re-watching season 2 for the first time. I was able to pick up a handful of hints for the Woody and Cassidy plots, but I'm sure there are more I missed. Here are a few:
Any others you can think of?
The Veronica Mars title sequence was one that I never skipped. The song always got me pumped for the episode. Even the altered version for season 3 still packed a punch. With the high pitched vocals and drums. But what have they done with season 4?! The singer sounds bored and there’s barely any music to speak of. Is it supposed to more adult and serious? It’s awful
For those who don’t know what I mean, she was a person who was revealed to be a victim of sexual abuse as right at the end of the season, it’s revealed that the school bomber was the one who abused her, but originally it was a whole different person.
So what I don’t understand is why the writers of the second season again changed it to the mad bomber (whose name I forgot) as he wasn’t originally the one who assaulted her that night when she was drugged up
He must have gone to a lot of places i am assuming since they were on a little vacation.
Rewatching for the 5th time and I just can’t help but get excited every time Veronica and Logan are on screen together
Whoever you are Louise88 writer of the fanfic Neptune Divergence in Ao3, i need an update! This is so far the best fanfic of Veronica Mars I have ever read! Please please!
I have been searching for fanfic that would give me the same feeling of like watching it in the screen, and mygod guys! You should read this!
This is her first viewing, we just finished Poughkeepsie tramp and thieves & I’m feeling torn on what I should do? 🤔 So I thought why not a poll?
And if so, how could Keith afford to own/rent two properties? He wasn’t one of the richer elites
I have no idea if this is planned. If anyone has heard any rumors I would be happy to hear about them.
But if a season 5 comes out one day, will you watch it?
Season 4 is worse than the original series and the last minutes are terrible but will you resist knowing what happens next?
Personally I will watch because it is VM but without any expectations or hopes of success. And probably only once. Not like the first three seasons which I watch very often.
…Don Lamb.
I'm doing yet another rewatch of the series and like every time I'm disappointed with the ending of this character.
Whether you hate him or love him (like me), Lamb is a perfect antagonist in this series in my opinion. His humor, his corruption, his stupidity (sometimes), his empathy (even less often) make him one of the most complete and realistic series characters I have seen.
His interactions with Keith and Veronica too: sarcasm mixed with a touch of subtle admiration make their relationships very pleasant to watch.
Besides, if the Sheriff's Department were competent, Keith and (especially) Veronica would not need to investigate. He is therefore one of the most important characters in the series, for me.
I can understand the writers' reasons for wanting to remove it. To allow us to see Keith be Sheriff but it's a bad decision. Because with a trustworthy and empathetic investigator like Keith who needs a detective? Except for the cheated spouses obviously.
And it’s an understatement to say that its ending is a disappointment. Certainly, it highlights his incompetence and his exaggerated confidence in himself (the lack of reinforcement, the shot in the mirror, the baseball bat, etc.).
But I still think he deserved a lot better. He was not killed by an important character and his death (far from epic) took place off camera. Finding out from a simple call to Keith… what a disappointment.
And what about his last words: “I smell bread”?? Really ? What is the point? Not being from the USA I may be missing a reference but…
I could also talk about this brother who appears in the film without anyone expecting it in the least... why want a family link between the two?
Small clarification, I'm watching the series again to read the books for the first time, so no spoilers on my future reading please.
I also take advantage of this post to ask for explanations on a line from Wallace at the beginning of the episode. When Lamb asks him if they've ever seen each other and Wallace refers to him as "friend of Dorothy"? Another English reference?
So I’ve been trying to figure this out. I saw somewhere that Aaron Ecchols is 6’1. Harry Hamlin is 5’11. What do these mugshot parameters mean??? 9, 0, 6, 3, all divided by thirds
I’ve used everything I could think of. I know Veronica Mars typically uses “lorem ipsum” Latin text to fill out news articles and such. At this point I’m thinking they just put random numbers there. I just want to get the reference though. Am I missing something or way overthinking it?
Curious how many people on here have read the books?
1st “Thousand Dollar Tan Line” narrated by KB
2nd “Mr. Kiss & Tell”
Did you enjoy them? What were your favorite parts? In comments just discuss whatever you feel relevant to discuss about the books.
I’m watching for the first time and love the show! Should I watch the movie after season 3 & then watch season 4? Please don’t give any spoilers.
Again (for the umpteenth time) in my Veronica Mars period. Do you know if the books have been translated? And where can I get them?
When do you recommend I read them in the timeline? Between the film and S4?
Did you like their music being used???
Rewatching season 4, and suddenly there is a Neptune PD instead of Balboa County Sheriff like season 1 through the movie. Are we to assume Neptune eventually incorporated at some point while Veronica was living in NYC?
