we're currently paying 40$/ season on Apple Tv... would be so nice if we could just watch it for free
I mentioned this recently and no one had any idea what I was talking about.
In 2003, when Pirates of the Caribbean and Finding Nemo came out, I remember there being short videos on TV about how they did some of the effects. The pirates one talked about the CGI of the skeleton pirates. The FN one talked about how they animated Dory's nose blood. I remember in the Finding Nemo one, a guy showed them dropping ink(?) into a fish tank to show what that would look like underwater.
It wasn't Movie Surfers or Mike's Super Short Show. I've looked up the episodes for both of those.
It was definitely on Family Channel and I checked youtube/the internet archive for bumpers from that time period and haven't seen anything.
Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?
Hi Has Family Law S03 started broadcasting yet. ?
Thanks 👍
I’m trying to figure out when the new episodes for the new season of Hudson and Rex are on for a few family members that want to watch.
I keep getting different info from different websites about what day it’s on. I know the new season started early January, but every time we tune in to watch, it’s a rerun.
Even the CityTV website now says it’s on Wednesdays at 9:00….I dont see it scheduled on my TV Guide tomorrow night. It’s on tonight (Tuesday) at 8:00, but it’s a rerun.
I’ve also seen it on other channels on other days throughout the week but they are always reruns. We cannot for some reason figure out when the new episodes are on. Does anyone know??
Hey all, I’m not very tech savvy and I don’t know how to get cheap cable tv. My partner says it would cost at least $50 but I feel like there has to be cheaper options? Ty
Hello! My brother and I are trying to identify a movie from our childhood that we're pretty sure we had recorded onto a VHS from Canadian TV. We're down in Washington, but lived right by the border and growing up our only 4 TV channels were Canadian :) This would have been late 80s/ early 90s. Our memories of the movie are vague, but disturbing lol. Here's what we've come up with:
I know this is almost nothing to go on, but it's worth a shot! We've both exhausted our googling abilities at this point. Anyone have any ideas?
Hey everyone, about a decade ago I remember watching a few episodes of this tv show where people who have some kind of disagreement agree to fight in a boxing ring to settle it. The show looked like it was possibly late 90s/ early 2000s, and had some guy doing voice-over commentary.
I’ve tried to find the name of the show for a while now, but I keep turning up blanks!
Does anyone know what show I’m on about, or did I possibly hit my head and imagine the whole thing? Thanks!
I used to be able to put on my vpn and enjoy some north of the border tv. Now every tv station website wants me to login with my Rogers or other telco credentials. Is there a way around this?
I love CBC and I loved this movie. But between the three part dissection, and the incessant advertisements it was absurd. For each 1 hour segment it was 20 minutes of recap, repeat credits, and stupidly repetitive ads. It was impossible to get immersed in the story. I'm not sure who would ever respond to 16 advertisements for 'Depends' (no judgement) but this was over the top. A movie does not deserve to be treated this way.
I understand that we're the bottom of the barrel when it comes to streaming in general. I put up with a lot (compared to when I lived in the US) like relentless ads, and them completely removing musical acts and sometimes even the monologue, but why in the hell am I waiting days for the latest episode to get on the service (I'm a subscriber by the way)?
I know I can watch it all on Instagram immediately, but I am stubborn. What the actual hell is going on?!
