1. Spoiler Policy, and episode discussion threads.
Mods will create Episode Discussion Threads the day of airing. All observations and comments should be directed to the main thread for the first 48 hours. No posts about the new episode will be approved during the 48 hour window. After that, content regarding the current season should use Spoiler tags until one week after the entire season has completed. Spoilers should NEVER be in Post Titles.
If an episode airs at 9pm ET Sunday, no posts may be made about it until 9pm ET TUESDAY.
2. Reposts are only okay after 90 days. Frequently posted topics/images will also be removed.
Duplicate or frequent posts within the last 90 days will not be approved, this includes similar topics, images or jokes. Please refer to the FAQ for the most posted topics/pictures that will not be approved: https://www.reddit.com/r/BobsBurgers/wiki/faq.
Posts do NOT have to be an exact duplicate to be considered a repost.
3. Follow Redditquette, please be civil. No harassment, hostility or toxic behavior.
Please remain civil. Reddiquette is an informal expression of the values of many redditors, as written by redditors themselves. Please abide by it the best you can. https://reddit.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/205926439-Reddiquette
Any form of harassment or personal attacks will not be tolerated. Toxic behavior including instances of racism, sexism, or bigotry (against LGBTQ+ or other marginalized individuals/characters) will NOT be tolerated and users may be banned.
4. Please make sure to use Post Flairs!

5. Fan Created Content is permitted on WEEKENDS Only
Fan Created Content is allowed on the weekends only- Friday through Sunday. This covers all media types: 2D, 3D, fanfiction, videos, etc. Do not take credit for art, images, or videos that aren't yours. Self-promoters are limited to one post per weekend and must follow the reddit guidelines for self-promotion: https://www.reddit.com/wiki/selfpromotion/. This includes, but is not limited to: Etsy, blogs, podcasts, art commissions, youtube channels. AI Created Content is covered under Rule 6.
6. Post Quality: Off -topic, Low Effort posts (including AI content), will not be approved.
A low-effort post is any post that does not spark, facilitate, or contribute any meaningful discussion or content to the subreddit. One word posts, asking a simple question that can be googled easily.... are considered low-effort and will be removed. This also includes AI Generated content (art, videos, text). The community voted to ban all AI Content in 2023.
7. Posts/comments about diagnosing characters will not be allowed.
While these characters may portray traits associated with certain mental health conditions, we should not be “armchair diagnosing.” Comedic characters are almost inherently exaggerated and while close, Bob’s Burgers is not a real-life situation. Until the creators officially announce a diagnosis for any of the characters, discussions on this will not be permitted. (Louise calling Tina “the worst kind of autistic” in S1,E1 Human Flesh doesn’t count.)
8. Posts about characters’ gender/sexuality will not be permitted.
Similar to the above rule- while the characters may portray certain characteristics, until explicitly addressed by the creators, discussions around the children characters’ gender and sexuality is not allowed. Queer-coding and stereotyping can be harmful, and again, while close, Bob’s is not a real-life situation and most of the dialogue is exaggerated for comedic effect. As a reminder, all the characters are voiced by adults and as such, make adult jokes.
9. Overly NSFW Content (Rule 34 and the like) will not be permitted on this sub.
Please do not submit content that would be considered porn, nudity, "Rule 34" or is overly sexual.
10. Unless they are official, no uploading or linking full episodes. Promoting piracy is not allowed.
Posting clips is okay, but no full episodes. We support the show and the hard working people at Bento Box. Do not promote piracy by requesting or providing links, DMs/PMs, or encouraging pirated material. Violators will be banned.
11. Moderator Discretion and Responsibilities:
All posts must be approved by a moderator. This keeps spam links out and prevent spoilers from leaking from the new episodes. Please allow mods up to 24 hours to review the queue.
Moderators will use their best judgment in approving or removing content. Please use the report function to bring something to our attention.

I have no way to explain it, but the episode felt off to me? I didn't hate it, I'll definitely watch it when I do my rewatches but it didn't feel like that whimsical holiday sort of episode. At least at the end of The Hauntening we got a Boys 4 Now song, this one just kinda...ended.
Couple notes: my hair is naturally fine and curly, so it HAD to be plastered to my head just to stay straight and would not flip up…I did try. The glasses are actually real and my own, as is the horrible, uncomfortable posture. ;)
Trying to make the best of going stircrazy. Haven't seen the sun in a week! Gonna make a "Bobs Burger" for lunch. I love garlick, onion, mustard and curry flavors (probably not all of those at once) any suggestions?
Not gonna leave my neighborhood...super fancy ingredients will be impossible for me.
We are partial to Teddy-heavy episodes 🎃
It was a last second costume, but I think it worked! Even made an easy breezy shoe box!
When she talks, people listen.
Kia ora, i'm wanting to 3d model the Belchers apartment and restaurant. I have found other renders and sections, plans etc on line SO HELPFUL. but i can't find dimensions ? is this guess work? 14ft floor to ceiling? i just wondered if anyone had more info <3 tia
Me, my wife, our best friend, and our cat!
The wrench does. The screwdriver doesn’t know ANYTHING! And don’t ask the pliers!
Was trying to think of a “pumpkin of the day” title but could only come up with “don’t squash your dreams”.
Went with the classic bob
Wife said I couldn’t shave but I think it still works. Bob just living his best beaded self.
I know it's just a cartoon, please let it go and don't read this if you don't want to.
TLDR at the end
___
Rewatching the show and I just had some thoughts about Bob and his father. Their bad blood seems to center around creativity and emotional freedom -- enough freedom to take the edge off take his mind off a boring/kind-of-fun internship at his parent's diner. Bob's mother encouraged and indulged her son, enough so for him to be able to tolerate his father's slights and criticisms. But when she died, the loving energy she used to nurture both Bobs left the two facing each other on opposite sides of this big chasm. Very quickly, they realize they don't know each other at all. Big Bob has emotionally neglected Bob so much so, they can't bond. And the only person who really understood both of them was gone - she couldn't soften their edges when they clashed anymore.
All of this to say, I think Big Bob is a bad father. Not because he couldn't connect with his son. I think he's a bad father because he couldn't put his emotions aside enough to take care of the only reminder he had left of the person he loved most in the world.
I'm not saying that he needed to immediately change his attitude or personality after his wife died. But I honestly think he deeply neglected Bob emotionally as a kid and needs to acknowledge this before he's shown any love from Bob. I think it was selfish for him to keep putting Bob down at every turn. He decided to wallow in misery instead of taking care of his son. It reminds me of the episode where Gene and Bob go do that swingy thing for Vday. Bob says something along the lines of how he needs to ignore every parental instinct and let go of his son. Bob knew the only thing they needed was to get over their fears and let go. It was safe, no one was likely going to get hurt and Bob knew this. But his fatherly instinct kicks in and protecting his child is the most important thing to him.
I just think that BIg Bob was of the mentality that solely he lost someone, his wife. I genuinely don't think he cared much about Bob as a kid. He never seemed to take into consideration that his son was also grieving for his mother. I just find it sad that instead of taking care of his kid, the only meaningful thing his wife left behind on this earth and presumably the only family close to him, he put himself first. Any bit of her he saw in his son, he wanted to stomp out because HE couldn't bare to be reminded of her. He didn't care how much it hurt Bob to be put down all the time and ordered around all day by someone who wouldn't talk to you.
It just showed Bob that his dad loved his wife more than him, seeing as he never let him grow and was not emotionally forthcoming in any way. Again, he didn't need to open up overnight, but he should have put in more effort to take care of Bob, all the family he had left.
TLDR
It's sad that Big Bob didn't see his wife's loving spirit and energy carry on in Bob. He saw it all as dangerous. It just touched me because I have a parent exactly like Big Bob. The episode of Bob having to apologize to Big Bob for raising his voice and calling him out made me so sad because it happened to me. It was obviously years and years of hurt that Bob exploded with. And no one cared. He was actually the wrong one somehow.
