So I decided to run a new program and got the pump app. I’m a little confused about selecting weight for the sets and reps.
For example, barbell bench right now is 3x4,6,8.
Besides warm up sets, how should I go about the weight distribution? Am I supposed to go heavy for 4 reps and then deload for 6 and 8?
Any clarity will help and I appreciate you all.
his wife was nothing to be super excited about looks wise and he banged the maid who looked like she got stung by bees in the face. why would a millionaire bodybuilder settle for ugly women?
I have a growing collection of Reg Park (Health and Strength, Muscle Power, Reg Park Journal, etc.) that I wanted to share in this space/platform, since after all, he was Arnold’s idol and mentor. These photos I obtained from a good friend of mine in the UK.
Does this subreddit also relate to his governership of california?
From 1971 - 1981, Arnold released 6 iterations of his Massive Arms training method. Acquiring these the past 3 years wasn’t easy. It required me connecting with sellers/collectors not only from the US, but from Germany, Italy and Bulgaria as well. Glad to have all 6 in my collection today.
I went to restore my subscription but can't due to "Not Available in my Region" anymore. Anyone see this?
Such a Nazi thing for that Austrian to have done.
Arnold is the main character in a Santa Claus movie that's currently filming in NYC. I would have loved to have tried to snag a selfie, but he had at least three badass bodyguards near him, even when cameras were rolling. I wasn't going to risk a confrontation with them. I hope everyone has a nice day and I look forward to seeing how this film turns out!
What are some of the more painful looking stunts you have noticed in an Arnie film?
Wikipedia says nothing one way or another.
I wish that the X rated version of Total Recall would be released. Supposedly, there is cut footage from the human shield part on the escalator, and more blood when Thumbelina stabs a guy, as some examples. I also wish that the television edit of the film would get uploaded as I was told that there is a version of Total Recall where the opening credits play at a different part, they play over the dream sequence instead. I would love to see these versions.
Arnold motivation with a lot of old Videos from him, do you like it?
Call it nostalgia but as Gen X'er, I love watching these movies. Strange thing is that I've always been a big fan of Arnold as both a person and an actor yet somehow, there were several of his iconic action movies I had never seen before.
I'm going through all of them right now and oh boy these movies bring back the nostalgia of the eighties. One I still love purely because I saw it on VHS as a kid, even though it was nor well received, is The 6th Day but really, I can't say which ones are my favorites. Terminator 2 and Red Heat are in the top 5 for sure, but it's too hard to choose one single favorite one. Next ones in my list are The Last Action Hero, True Lies and Total Recall.
Arnold is one of those wholesome actors and as a European myself, even though I know he's a proud American, I still feel this kind of kinship with him because he's also European.
And he's also the man that inspired me to start lifting weights. Not because I want to become a bodybuilder or anything, but because I was an insecure, skinny and weak little boy and I was sick of seeing myself in the mirror. Lifting weights and Arnold's inspiration changed that. I'll always respect him for this.
