I have. Sounds Impossible but it’s not. This is what I did:

Packed around 4 repel gels

Just kept using Power Quake and Kooper’s Power Shell and Fire Shell (Parakarry’s Air Raid or Sushie’s Tidal Wave works too, don’t use Bombette as she’s not FP efficient)

Then apply repel gel again when it wears off and keep spamming Power Quake and either Power Shell or Fire Shell

General opinions about PMTOK aside I am probably the least sane about this game considering I once wrote a 100,000+ word story combining its lore with Super Paper Mario's and also replayed the final battle around 6 times for research. I might be cringe, but at least I am free.

I need help. I am working on a Xenoblade 3 and Thousand Year Door crossover fanfic, and asked if anyone know of good VA's I can use for Starlow, Prince Dreambert and the partners of TTYD. I am also trying to figure classes, roles, arts and chain attacks for Mario, Luigi, and their partners. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’ve seen hype around paper Mario and want to play it but I don’t know the order of which I should play them, could y’all help me out

Before I proceed, I'd like to say I still think TTYD is excellent, just a little overrated on the internet. Up until last year, I had beaten every PM but TTYD (yes, even Sticker Star), but I finally got the chance to play it thanks to the remake. I am NOT saying 64 is a better game, I'm simply explaining why I personally don't understand all the praise TTYD recieves. I'm fully ready to offend everyone with my opinion :).

For years I've been seeing people talk about how TTYD is "objectively" the best Paper Mario, or even the greatest Mario RPG, and how it does everything that 64 does but better. I completley disagree with this.

Let's start off with the most common thing I see people say TTYD does better, the combat. At its core, TTYD does have a much more complex and deep combat system. My issue with it is that I don't believe it's used to its full potential at all. TTYD is a very easy game, so easy to the point that I used the same few couple of moves for almost every boss in the game (power lift + jump attacks). Now 64 is definitley not a hard game by any means, but I definitley feel like the difficulty progression was much more natural, and overall provided a more challenging experience that allowed for more strategic thinking with the partners and everything. TTYD is beyond easy for the first like 6 chapters, and then randomly picks up a little at the end. I will praise >!Shadow Queen and Prince Mush !<though, but I do wish there was more of a natural increase in difficulty prior to those bosses. This could definitley be a more personal thing though, especially considering this was the final PM game I played out of the 6.

Next, the game's atmosphere and world. This is obviously a more personal thing, but I prefer the world and ESPECIALLY the atmosphere of 64. TTYD has a much more unique and original world compared to the more generic themes of 64, but tbh I prefer 64 for this one. My favorite part of Mario RPG's is how they bring the mushroom kingdom to life, so seeing 64's take on my favorite video game world of all time was amazing, which obviously I didn't get from TTYD, as that game takes place in a completley different feeling and more depressin world. Again, this is obviously complete personal preference, I just don't agree with the people who say "more unique and original is better." Now the atmosphere... Next, I'd like to talk about is the level design. I'm sorry, but some of TTYD's level design is awful. The game is filled with rooms that are just straight lines, as well as mindless, pointless, backtracking. The biggest standouts to me are Chapter 4, which has you run back and forth on the same long and boring path multiple times, Chapter 6, which has like 70% of it take place on a train that has no battles or combat, and an absurd amount of backtracking, and finally, Chapter 3... the one everyone seems to think is the greatest one in the series... Well I'm about to criticize it. Before you downvote me if you haven't already, hear me out at least. I think Chapter 3 is excellent when it comes to its story and world and everything, but I'm sorry, the gameplay is awful. To progress, you have to play through 20 long and boring battles, with the same diologue and cutscenes at the start and end of every match. I love the parts in between where you try to solve the Chapter's mystery, but it felt like a good 80% of the chapter was just mindless battles. 64's "worst" chapter, 6, is crapped on for it's backtracking, but imo, the backtracking in TTYD was way worse than anything Chapter 6 had.

Now before I finish writing, I would like to say I enjoyed the story of TTYD much more, and it was definitley my favorite part of the game. That's an aspect TTYD 100% surpassed 64 in for me.

I want to make a hard mode of TTYD but I want to hear any suggestions for additions to make it harder, here are some I’ve come up with so far

1. Bosses that lore-wise have crystal stars use said crystal star in their battle. E.g: Lord Crump takes the C.S for Clock-Out, so when you battle Magnus Von Grapple he can use Clock-Out.

Paper Mario lord crumps revenge. Mario gets a mail from peach that says hello Mario I’m on vacation returning to rogueport And Mario decided to go there to visit peach but bad news lord crump returned and survived flying through space and durning when he was flying through space he met dimentio and he helped lord crump escape space and now their both after peach. “Prologue a reunion” so Mario arrives at rogueport and he finds Toadsworth and he explains that peach got kidnapped by lord crump and Mario’s confused because he died so Mario sees that rogueport has a brand new academy their he decides to enter and finds goombella and apparently she’s now a professor and she hugs him and very glad to see Mario Mario explains to her what happened so she decides to join Mario they decide to visit professor frankly and they explain to him what happened and he tells them that he could’ve got help when he was flying through space and then tells Mario to find your old partners. “Chapter 1 a dragons return” so they go to petalburg and find koops and he’s now a loving father/husband he and koopie had 3 kids and got married and he’s the new mayor of petalburg so he decides to help Mario on his adventure but then they end up running into lord crump and he basically brings hocktail back to life and they decide to fight hocktail and then they defeat her but lord crump is gone and they decide to go back and find professor frankly and he explains more info that lord crump got helped by someone that fought Mario before so they have to find out who it is and professor frankly tells them to go to boogly woods and find his old partner there. “chapter 2 the actors locked in” so they go there and they run across punio and apparently he’s the new leader of the punies and actually helps Mario find madame flurrie because her house was blocked by lord crump and punio finds a secret area that only the punies can enter and goes inside and unlocks the door and Mario finds madame flurrie and tells him that she preparing for the stage play and all of the sudden lord crump locks her in her house and he explains to her that he also kidnapped princess peach and she decides to help Mario on his adventure and they return to professor frankly and he got more info that peach is in mars and apparently another villain is also part of peaches kidnapped too and professor frankly is going to figure out who they are so Mario decides to go to twilight town. “chapter 3 the ghost kidnapping” he runs across doopliss and he’s was wondering why madame flurrie wasn’t at the stage and she explains to him what happened so he decides to help them find Vivian and they find Vivian and her 2 sisters locked inside doopliss castle that lord crump locked so doopliss decides to morph into lord crump to trick the guards and they find Vivian and her sisters and they defeat the guards and Vivian and her sisters help Mario on their adventure and they return to professor frankly and he finds out who the mysterious villain is and apparently it’s Fawful and cackletta from the different Mario universe and they helped lord crump but professor frankly is still figuring out who the other mysterious villain that helped lord crump is so mario goes to glitzville but apparently he lost his blimp ticket so he decides to find frankie and asks him for one and Frankie tells him if you want this ticket you got to find my daughter Francine apparently she’s dating one of his workers Felix and Mario finds her and Frankie is upset about that she is dating Felix but his wife Francesca reminds him that her father was also the same way of their relationship so Frankie realizes and accepts his daughters love and he hands Mario the blimp ticket. “Chapter 4 the great Yoshi” Mario goes to glitzville and that’s when he finds Yoshi and he’s all grown up now and he’s the championship of the glitzville and mario explains to him what happened and Yoshi tells him if you could win me in a fight I would join you so he finds that prince muss is the new host because Jolene retired from it so he shows Mario to the locker room and Mario once again fights opponents and gets to rank 1 and then he fights Yoshi and wins and yoshi agrees to help Mario on his adventure but as soon as they leave Mario gets a email and it says go into the juice bar and he does and he finds Jolene tied up and she says that a green bean person and a bigger green bean person tied her up and he finds a note that says I have fury! So Mario unties her and she returns safely to her brother and then mario Returns back to professor frankly and he explains that fawful has a dark star that can end the whole world so Mario goes to keelhaul key but the boat got destroyed and Mario asks Cortez what they can do to help him and he tells them they need to find a new boat and he says that Frankie has his own boat so Mario goes to see Frankie but he’s very sick so he finds Francine and Felix and they go see Frankie and he decides to give his job to Felix and officially retires and he also gives the boat to Mario and then they sail off. “Chapter 5 the underground treasure” they arrive at keelhaul key and that’s when they find Admiral Bobbery and he’s still on the ocean and there’s a new crew member who looks a little sketchy and Admiral Bobbery tells them he would join them if they find treasure that was discovered to be underground so they set off digging underground and then they find a evil kraken and they fight him and they win and they get the treasure and Admiral Bobbery joins them but the new crew member is seen on a different ship and it was revealed that he was fawful and Mario fights him and cackletta and they win and they return to professor Frankly and he explains that he saw ms mowz and she is willing to help them. “Chapter 6 the final showdown” they go to Fahr outpost and they use the canon and goes straight to mars and then Fawful and cackletta returns and they fight and Mario wins and then they find peach but lord crump crashes in and sir grodus also returns and they fight and Mario wins but dimentio decides to crash the party and tries to stop them and they fight and they win and they rescue peach and the whole place explodes with sir grodus,lord crump,fawful,cackletta and dimentio in there and Mario returns peach safely and he says his goodbyes to his partners and then he returns home with peach. the end

I played it for Nintendo switch, loved the ice/shiver area. I was only 11 or 10 at the time and beat the whole game.

I love paper mario color splash but most people do not like the game whn I think it is one of the betters ones im sorry but i dont really like super paper mario as most people do i still like it but its wierd that fans of paper mario like super paper mario its a different genera i do like the characters but its not always the best at times and i dont like your companion in the game BUT mr. L is very cool anyway i also not as fond of the N64 paper mario its just kinda outdated for me but i do like he pixel style its very charming

and in general paper mario himself has always been fonding and in color splash he seems to be at his most charming (i have not played the thousand year door yet im sure hes good in that one too) but it seems that everyone hates on sticker star and color splash together i also dont hate sticker star or origami king there both a okay games but color splash is great it does have flaws like the whole things thing with you having to get the things do kill the bosses but i really like the characters like the toads people complain that there generic but i stilll like them do give them personality i give them different voices reds are the screamy sunshine voice blues are the like "top ten scariest secrets in luigis mansion number 15 luigi is dead the whole game" yelows are the cool radical sonic like voices greens are the british boys in christmas movies "why its christmas eve" guy and purples are like the sterotypical gays anyway enough toads

huey is great also its sad when he dies YOU CLICKED THE SPOILER WARNIG so i can spoil the thing kooplings are great i like them in paper form also the plot is funny if you are playing the game wih friends high or drunk bowser becomes black and sucks toads white and thows the magic paint starbursts in the sky and leaves anyway the combat i like its very hated its not te worst i also think its funny when the main red toads gets sucked in the intr he hands you his epic radical yugio card deck and fricken dies like golly gee govner its scary how th weh wah shy guys suck people and remove their color but anyway this is long but i have a uestion to ask YOU my radical lad DO YOU LIKE PAPER MARIO COLOR SPLASH and if you dont its fine.

I never used it because I personally prefer the rearranged soundtracks to fit the modern feel of the game, but how about yours?
