Tell me you’re top 5 best chapters out of all 43 chapters in the whole series and make sure for the top 5 to be be in order I’m found this to see what people think the best chapters are in the whole series
Ok so in my opinion this is the best chapter in this game it is so fun ok so you start off in forever forest and the way you get to lady bows mansion is which ever path has the difference from the others you go in and this chapter is probably a top 3 most negative aura feeling chapter in the whole series and every time I play it I can’t help to feel like uneasy so ya this is an amazing start to an amazing chapter so once you get through you go to lady bows mansion you have to do some puzzles and once you do that you find lady bow and you’ve found out she’s kidnapping the star which is different from every other chapter in this game so she joins your party (Hot take but she is the best party member in the game) but then you go to the desert area and you witness a boo get eat whole which is kinda dark if you really think about it but then you walk and walk and walk until you get to tubba blubba house and you get the key to the well and there is a chase scene with tubba blubba and then you go to the well and fight tubba blubbas heart and beat the chapter in my opinion this chapter is a S+ tier it’s just perfect nothing to add so ya let me know in the comments if you agree with this ranking or not bye bye
Halfway to 1,000! Please sub 🫶🏻
I’m playing the beginning of TTYD and noticed that when I’m playing Mario, I can only target the first enemy in front of him for any types of jumps and hammers. However, if I’m playing Goombella, I can target any enemy—front or back. Is this normal?
I always wanted TTYD remade with its own type of paper esque graphics, and this remake delivers! The graphics are beautiful and has amazing lighting, I love all the remixes, and the only 3 flaws don't bother me that much (no game is perfect after all), I don't mind the slower battle menu (it doesn't even feel that slow to me), the 30 FPS is hardly noticable, and I don't mind not being able to skip past text. I love the new additions, the 2 new super bosses are AMAZING, the art gallery is really fun and nice to look through and is worth collecting everything to see it (I really enjoy looking at art), the Nostalgic Tunes badge is a really nice way to get the og themes back, but I much prefer the new themes and remixes, a bunch of QoL stuff is really nice, all characters has a voice speech bubble sfx which adds to their character, as well as having way more expressions and animations that gives them so much more charm. This remake is imo, to ME, the best remake of all time! I felt like making a passionate post about why I love this game and it's remake so much, so thank you for reading through this? What do you think of this remake? :)
Played through TTYD remake with my daughter, we had a blast and it's such a fantastic game with an interesting world, great characters and a good story. We also played through original on switch pass as we waited for the remake release.
BUT I did play through this game on the cube multiple times, same with the original on 64, now I've always remembered TTYD as the best one, and actually one of my favourite RPGs of all time, but having played both back to back as an adult I'm wondering, is the original actually better??
Now i will say the story and characters are better in Door, and the polished battle system is great, but i had completely forgotten the amount of bactracking this game has, even with the new warp room it was tedious! I was never bored going through the original, but in door both the train sequence and all the bactracking in the later chapters got me snoozing
The TTYD Remake is my favorite game of all time, the art style, the music, the characters, the bosses and battle system and story are perfect to me. Shadow Queen is my favorite Mario villain and favorite final boss of all time, Grubba and Doopliss are amazing, the world is awesome to me, easily my favorite Mario world, and the atmosphere can't be topped imo. What do you guys think?
The only other I have played is "Super Paper Mario"
I grew up with Super Paper Mario. Absolutely adored this game and the characters (especially Dimentio, who wouldn't love this sociopathic jester). For a long time I didn't even know it didn't follow the normal Paper Mario formula and did its own thing. Even so I liked the gameplay.
The only other Paper Mario I started (and never quite finished) was sticker star, and honestly I wasn't a big fan of it. Compared to SPM, the story kinda felt bland. Maybe it's hard to live up to a high standart that was already set with the story telling, but in general it wasn't really my thing.
Paper Mario 2: The thousand year door looks pretty promising to me though from what I've seen and I'm already looking forward to it. Plus, they got Toadsworth back and knowing that is already a W for me. They didn't forget this guy-
Origami King is my first paper Mario I've ever played and man, it's a slog. I keep putting it down and telling myself to stop playing, but I'm stubborn and like to finish things I've started. I don't mean to rant but I find the RPG elements sparse, way too much bad dialogue to scroll through, no powering up or leveling, and puzzle elements that drive me insane. Not because they're hard, per se. Because they're so boring. I avoid most combat so I don't have to deal with that ring puzzle. Bosses are okay except the ice bear, who made me want to throw the game out. I don't mind being beaten by a hard game when it's fair. But not when it feels like cheap bs predicated on changing rules that are barely explained to you. I'm at the green ribbon and I so badly want this game to be over.
