Been building the collection, purchased a couple of titles that already had labels applied. Decided to label the entire collection for uniformity. Turned out well, fills out the shelf nicely too.
i have always been a ps1 fan, because of the many cool games i can play forever and always find something new. despite this i always looked at the n64 and really wanted to get into it, but something stopped me. i am still looking for the hidden gem that will make me love this console. n64 graphics sometimes really put me off, but recently i completed ocarina of time, without bilinear rendering and it looked just gorgeous, i dont know why this feature is not in all n64 emulators. if you know of any good games, i will be glad to hear. i really like dark games, but i am not against something cartoonish
As the title says I’m looking for help in buying a Nintendo 64 controller for my laptop so I can play my emulator (PJ64) and all the roms I have for the 64 emulator. I’m looking for a controller for games that require the analog stick prevalently like Ocarina of time, Mario 64 etc where using keyboard keys while possible is a pretty big pain in the ass. Was hoping someone would have recommendations of a good company to go through as I’ve heard some PC controllers have laggy analog sticks and or have issues with delayed responses from the controller etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.
This is my current collection of N64 game carts. What do you all think? If you could personally add only 2 more to the collection what would they be & why?!
Also, this is my first time posting in here. I'm just excited to share. :)
It’s my older brothers birthday soon and he’s recently gotten into collecting n64 games, so I would like to buy him either Mario Golf or Mario Tennis. I don’t know a lot about either, but I’ve found both in boxes with their manuals to buy, I would just like some advice on which game is overall more fun and a better gift
I’m new to the ROM cart world and am seeing the SC64 and ED64 X5/X7 being recommended. I don’t think I need the “Save without Reset” feature of the ED64 X7. I definitely want GameShark code capability though. Does that make ED64 my only option?
With Krikzz having a 20% off sale, and the ED64 X5 being $80 right now make that a solid choice for playing ROMs and using GameShark cheats?
I didn't really thing about it too much, but know I really notice it. And the cord is actually shorter then my other n64 controller. I think this brick may be a store indicator? It got some weight to it.
I would say #5 Glover #4 Donkey Kong 64 #3 Banjo Twooie #2 Super Mario 64 #1 Banjo Kazooie Super Kiwwi 64 would be on my list but it’s not on the N64 and PS1
I started in September 2023 but due to a series of unfortunate events, I was unable to complete it until now. I took today off and decided to put it to good use. Beautiful game! I did not complete it 100% but got all of the masks.
So, I've had an ED64 for 5 months, and the cartridge has stopped working
I've tried taking out the SD card so I know that the cartridge still works as I get the below screen. I've also formatted the SD card, replaced the SD card, formatted it and then tried again, but nothing works. Unsure what to do at this point. I've also tried replacing the OS64P file
Kinda at a loss with this one at this point, so if anybody has any ideas on what to do for me to get this working (except bUy An AcTuAl EvErDrIvE), would be hugely appreciated!
I kept forgetting to check back at the shop. Finally managed to catch one (Australia).
Yay!
I have this distant memory of an N64 that had plagued the back of my mind for years but I cannot figure it out.
I remember there being missions , it being maybe both an overhead shooter type game and also just a regular third person one too.
This was the times when I was playing the Blue 007 game at my friends house and they’d put in a different game. I wish I could remember more 🙄🙄
It's odd this seems to be the only gamecube game that you can get on the N64
Hi as the title says I am wondering what people Would recommend for someone who wants a wireless blue tooth controller that is theme after the original. That being the nintendo switch online n sixty four controller Or the eight bit do modkit
Ocarina of time bugged out.
Hi hello, my copy of ocarina of time has corrosion on it that I didn't notice when I bought it and I have left it in my console for about half a year without realising it. The console was plugged in but powered off for this entire time. Is there anyway the corrosion can spread to the console pins and possibly to other games. I have seen some people say it can spread while others saying that that wasn't how oxidation works. Does anyone know if I should be worried?
Hi all
I bought my wife a japanese pickachu N64 for Christmas which I'm sure she's going to love, but I have a question about playing it in different regions.
The Nintendo I bought for her is NTSC-J, I'm in a PAL region for the older consoles and I've gotten a bit lost trying to figure out how to get/what to get as a converter to allow her to play it on our PAL region TVs. There's a host of items out there for converting from NTSC-J > PAL, but a lot of them seem to be cheap Amazon/eBay items and I'd rather not have her try and play it on Xmas only to find out the connection cable won't work.
Does anyone have any recommendations for converter boxes/cables to allow it to either go from NTSC-J to HDMI or PAL?
Thanks for any help!
Hi, anyone UK got all metal pieces for a standard edition 64 including the game cartridge surround in like new condition?
Thanks
