Made this by adding my own NTSC boards to the PAL examples that have been shared around for years. Shared it elsewhere a few weeks ago and figured maybe I should share it here too.
Note: It can be pretty hard to see even shining your phone’s camera flash right into the EXT. The image does not intend to distinguish JP and US consoles. They share NTSC boards and are equivalent so this should be everything you need to identify any 1chip… assuming you can recognize the obviously-heavy SHVC-CPU-01/02 (cart locking mech, screen printed Eject, 4x rubber feet, foil labels, etc).
ive got a Killer Instincts NFR i would love to get refurbed if anyone knows a reputable place/store that offers a service like this
Busted my ass these past few weeks to have this video made by Halloween. Happy with how it turned out. What did you guys think of this game? Is my score too high?
i left my super famicom unplugged for the past like 5 months, and i went to turn it on the other day, and it didint even give me the power light. i checked the ac adapter, working, the pico fuse, working. i replaced the plug too, didint work. i also checked continuity with the multimeter with the power switch on, and there was continuity, yet it dosent work. any ideas?
A lot of these games are well harder than I remember.
anyone?
The intro themes to Donkey Kong Country and Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety are instant favorites of mine.
Ninja Warriors is one of those games I could just pop in and have the best time. Such an awesome beat em up. Robots. Ninjas. What’s not to love? Have you guys played this?
Got a broken SNES 1 chip from Italy, and, after checking the fuse, i replaced it, and started to work.
My surprise when, trying to turn It on again, it died again. Seems that disconnecting the cable made it break.
The electricity connector works fine on my other PAL SNES, so the problem must be from the console. Not sure if it might be the outside connector (seems pretty bad from the inside), or the voltage regulator.
Does this problem seems familiar to someone? The SNES model is snsp-cpu-1chip-02
Any idea?
Edit: seems like replacing the voltage regulator solved the issue. In case some other find this problem ;).
30 years old . My kids play it top.
I was looking to purchase one and see some going for under $100 and was kind of skeptical. This one below is going for about $200 and is labeled as authentic:
Unsure if it’s a joke
Hi! I've received 2 tested SNES consoles this week and seem to have an issue with the Kaico Line Doubler (HDMI Adapter) causing me to believe it might be broken.
The display I use turns black with a horizontal purple line fading out vertically. Both consoles had been tested, and different channels have been tried with the Kaico. Also, the firmware had been updated.
Is there any way to test the Kaico Line Doubler?

I am trying to decide between either the OSSC and the GBS Control for use with my Super Famicom. They are both fairly close in price and I plan on using RGB Scart with them. I would love to hear opinions from owners. Thanks.
