Going to replace the ugly sticker on the FXpack pro with the best sticker. The problem is, there are so many good ones! I'd like to hear some opinions. I'm leaning towards Metroid, Zelda, chrono trigger, rn. Maybe even the Japanese yoshis island. Really tough call.
I recently picked up Desert Strike, Urban Strike, and Jungle Strike. Desert is great and the one I remember renting as a kid. But the two sequels are not very good. The controls and graphics seemed to take a noticeable step down. Do I need to push through to later levels for them to get better or are my impressions correct?
So I was playing some Zombies ate my neighbors for Halloween and all of a sudden my SNES shut off and had no power. I thought it was the pico fuse but that had continuity surprisingly. I have some voltage regulators on order coming today to test that as a source of the issue. Any other tips to look for on a power issue for a snes?
I looked over the board but didn’t see any cap issues or visible issues on a first pass. I’m going to try to reflow the board and clean the whole board and the cartridge connector if the issue is not the voltage regulator as a general strategy but any other tips or tribal knowledge would be appreciated. This is my first time working on a snes and just want to play some childhood games! Love this sub btw!!
Been after magic sword specifically for a while. :)
I find that a lot of games you decide whether you are playing 1or 2 players at the loading screen.
However I remember there being some games where mid game someone with the second controller could press start and join the game at any point. I need help remembering what some of those games are!
SNES preferred (obviously) but if you know some for NES that could be helpful too.
Does anyone know how the hell you remove the battery on these ? Doesnt seem to watch to move whichever way I try and push it and I'm worried I'm going to use too much force and break something
Picked up this gem yesterday and thought I'd share with you lovely people.
Basically depeding what option you choose you get a diasse or a buff like full pp full hp or Healing an example of diases:Getting an mushroom in yo head, start being cursed by the mini ghost and start going ACHOO ACHOOO ACHOOOOO and COFF COFFF COFFF and turning into a diamond and the buffs are getting cured and insanely high pp and hp (for some reason paula just stop existing when you do this glitch)
Info: Looking to not spend a bomb, clones are fine if they exist (only used to HWFLY for the Switch when it comes to stuff like this), PAL SNES, 1CHIP.
Hi, I recently became the owner of a 3-chip SNES. Everything is great, but I got the opportunity to get the 1chip-02 version of the console. I have a few questions:
Is gosting a real thing? My buddy is good with a soldering iron and can make the mods needed. I've read that a 470 nf SMD capacitor solves the problem, but causes glitching in some games. I have seen information that you can use 220 instead of 470 and it will solve both problems. Please advise on how to go about it.
Is the brightness correction mod ( 750 Ohm resistors) suitable for the 1chip-02? Also I have seen information that the brightness problem can be solved with a certain video cable, is this true?
I see that some people write that 1chip-02 requires Luma synchronization for RGB SCART. Is this really the case?
I will be very grateful for answers.
Hello! My sister and I got ahold of an Tetris and Dr Mario SNES game from eBay which said is authentic year 1994, as we're wondering if made in mexico SNES games are authentic or so and okay to play in SNES?
Thanks
Finally giving this classic a try after all this time, wish me luck with the scissorman and happy halloween ya'll! 🎃💀
Trying this again. I live in Brazil. Importing a Triad PSU from different websites will run me 250-270 reais. I have that money but would rather not spend it.
Would someone please tell me if there even is a SNES PSU that's as good as the Triad that is sold in Brazil? I don't want to damage my console with the old original PSU or with a shitty off-off-off-brand one.
I don’t have too many details. The players names weren’t MLB players, there were like goals and achievements to go for, players could get “hot” or “cold”. That’s about all I got. Any help would be great
Is there a way to use Action Replay stile cheats with a cheap flashcart (I have a generic 20/30 euros cart from AliExpress)?
Cant remember the name of this game. Loved playing it as a child but I couldn't speak English yet so I truly can't remember the name.
You're in a tiny spaceship and you shoot bigger ships of course. There was a twist to it tho. You could shoot these blueish missiles at certain bigger mech/ships and then they would freeze and turn blue and you could effectively take them over.
If you took damage, the taken over mech/ship would lose effectiveness and eventually be destroyed after too many hits.
I've been searching and searching and can't find the name at all. If anyone knows, that would be awesome.
