Shows up like this:
Switch releases March 2017
/r/NintendoSwitch
Since nintendo didn’t release any specific controller for these two platforms, do you have any favorite controller you use when you play or you just stick with the normal controllers?
Hey,
I'm going to be away for Christmas for a few weeks and want to take Switch with me. Wanted to ask some fellow RPG fans about a game I can sink my teeth into for some time.
I'm mostly playing World of Warcraft nowadays. I really like the character progression, slowly working towards set goals, seeing how my level, gear and the quality of equipment raises and finally feeling the satisfaction when I achieve what I aimed for. It also helps that gameplay is pretty complex and my knowledge about the game, encounters and my specialization gets better with time.
Is there any game on Switch you can think of that gives you a similar feeling? I assume I'm looking at the RPG genre mostly, maybe roguelikes like Hades, Dead Cells or Brotato. I've played most of the popular stuff on PC tho and was hoping Switch can introduce me to something I missed or haven't had access to.
Appreciate all the suggestions ;)

My dad is 70 and has the switch lite. He has one of those packs w the dozens of “retro/vintage games but he never really plays it. The only thing he plays on it is Tetris every single night. Is there anything similar he might like? I don’t think he’d hate a golf game but it would have to be very simple. (My dad’s not dumb I just think he and I “game” the same way, which is we don’t want something super difficult or involved since it’s our time to relax.)
My kid just got a Nintendo Switch for their birthday, and I'm excited to relive some nostalgia and play Zelda!
Backstory:
• As a kid, I wasn't super into Legend of Zelda (I was more of a DonkeyKong Country fan). •BUT, in my 20s, I got really into Wind Waker on the GameCube and loved it.
Cut to today: I was thinking Breath of the Wild (and then Tears of the Kingdom) might be my vibe based on the open-world, adventurous feel. Do I have that right? But my partner, being very sweet, got me Echoes of Wisdom because it’s “the Zelda game I wanted"—except... I’m not sure it’s actually what I want?
What do you think? Should I dive into Breath of the Wild first? Is Echoes of Wisdom worth playing for someone who loved Wind Waker?
Help!
Now, after Switch is coming to an end, what are your Hours on Your Switch Games? How many hours did you play on your Switch?
Thats my list...
And some other games I didn't play that much...
###IN TOTAL ~2000H
For about three months I had gaming fatigue where I just wasn't having much fun playing anymore. When I did have the need to pick up and play my go-to game was always Tetris Effect.
Has anyone else experiencied gaming fatigue, and what is your go-to game on Switch, when you're bored of everything else?
I have ordered recently a pair of Mobapad M6 HD joycons which are supposed to feature great HD rumble. Although it seems to work fine at first glance, I noticed that it is actually pretty unreliable and mediocre compared to official joycons or the Switch Controller Pro. Everybody seems overjoyed by the HD rumble feature of the M6 HD so I'd like to have other feedback.
It is noticeable on short pulses of rumble (such as haptic feedback in menus of some games). Sometimes I get something that is almost unnoticeable, sometimes I get a strong rumble that lasts way too long, sometimes I get something of the right length but not the same fine level of detail as the official gamepads.
So I wanted to ask other owners of M6 HDs whether they experience the same or not, or whether they noticed it too and what they think about it.
If you want to try:
Although nothing is truly confirmed before Nintendo announces it's really tough to discredit the Switch 2 leaks when all of the sources have been consistent since the original September leak. Now we have accessory partners taking turns leaking the actual build and apparent confirmation from anonymous sources with proof about the build and specs. I've been a Nintendo fan for almost 12 years and I can't remember leaks ever being this bad. Has a Nintendo console ever been leaked this badly since the 2000s?
What do you want to see on the new console?
To future proof myself against stick drift, I purchased some joy cons from a seller on Etsy with a thousand+ good reviews who advertised hall effect sticks in the joy cons he sold.
Unfortunately the first pair he sent me had drift immediately out of the box. The left stick wouldn't center. I sent them back, had another pair sent to me, and same issue. This time after about 4 days, the left stick would again sometimes not center despite supposedly having a hall effect sticks installed.
Any guidance? Any good reputable Etsy sellers who I should buy from instead? Should I order my own hall effect sticks and replace them? Or should I stick with the stock joy cons? I have two pairs of stock joy cons that have not had any drift (yet?), while the two pairs of joycons with hall effect sticks did have drift. Makes it seem like it might not be worth it?
Any guidance is appreciated.
Is it just me or everywhere in Reddit or everywhere on the internet everyone has so many games or has played so many games. I play on Nintendo switch and honestly these games are so pricey!!! So just to ask, how do you guys afford all these games? Here are some games I’ve played…
Animal crossing, Cozy Grove, Palia, Sky children ofthe light, Stardew Valley

Been using a pro pad for sf2ultra and the left stick is already not responding after a few days.
I did like the og snes pads but wondering if there's better options now
For context, here are some posts about how that went:

What are some good pro controller alternatives, cause I wanted to get one and just want to see your recommendations, thx
Idk if anyone else has ever ran into Train Station Simulator but I found it on sale a while ago already and now recently stumbled upon it again. I played it for a while but then got reminded why I stopped playing it back then.
It is an utterly broken game which is very sad because I love the concept. The most frustrating part of it's brokenness is the constant crashes that just occur at some point in a safe file from which on it's literally unplayable.
Now I'm trying Reddit as my last resort. So if anyone either has some sort of "fix" for this game constantly crashing or an actual alternative that comes close to it's gameplay I'd highly appreciate sharing it with me.
I have heard rumors that the switch 2 will be as powerful as a PS4 pro. That means the switch 2 will be 7 years behind playstation in terms of power. I think that 7 year gap is much less significant than the gap was for the switch 1. There are diminishing returns to graphics, and AAA games are still coming out on the PS4 and look pretty good still. The switch 2 has potential to have just straight up good graphics.
The switch 1 had a similar effect I think. Because of diminishing returns, it was finally possible to have "home console" graphics on a portable system, because the gap is shrinking. The power level difference isn't necessarily shrinking, but the jump in graphics isn't as noticeable. Especially since Nintendo seem to be optimizing their games a lot more than the competition.
