I'm going crazy for that gutsy bat and i almost want to give up for it's searching and move on the giygas. And an another reason is cuz DK land on gameboy released yesterday on switch. Make me change my mind
Hi friends! Curious if anyone knows where I can get this frog car plush nowadays, I know it used to be made available via the Yetee or the Completionist but can't seem to find it now. Anyone willing to sell one (new or used)? Wish I would have bought this back when it was more readily in stock. Thanks!
I just did like 256 tries using the rng manipulation and i stil can't get that goddamn bat!! Starting to think it's not even possible at all to get
Such a charming and trippy Rom Hack with an excellent premise.
I really enjoyed how distorted reality becomes when ascending the office skyscraper. Like you go up 60 floors and suddenly there's an entire village/neighbourhood impossibly up there.
The story seems to have a somewhat improvisational tone as if it's being written on the spot. The characters even reference this themselves as plot points are abandoned when the story changes direction. I thought it was hilarious.
Also the Moonlit City Roa cover from Legend of Mana was a nice touch.
Overall, I had a blast with this Rom Hack so thanks to the creators. You guys nailed it.
I'll eventually get around to playing Holiday Hex.
because Deep Darkness its literally way too far from Winters so i dont know how he did it
Something about this silly little guy makes me happy.
There are also a ton of other Super Nintendo characters there as well
I know it's (attack multiplier) x playerOffense - enemyDefense
But when I launch the game and fight a crow which has 3 defense my damage should be
2 x 2 - 3 = 1
But im doing 9 damage????? Any reason?
My Top 3 favorite games of all time can be interchangeable, but one always consistently stayed at number 1! I may get hateful replies and downvoted to the deep negatives, but plz don't judge me..I'm not toxic..my favorite game of all time that beats EarthBound for me is...Undertale. I love it's world, all the characters and even the normal monster encounters are all memorable and loveable, my favorite way to play this game is the true pacifist route, the music and atmosphere is amazing, it has my favorite RPG battle systems, and I enjoy its take on talking to the changed world and everyone freely before the ending more than EarthBound did it.
I love the Chosen 4 and Giygas so much, but they were never been able to beat my favorite video game character of all time, Flowey/Asriel. I count Flowey and Asriel as the same character for lore and spoilers reasons. His final boss battles on both the neutral route and true pacifist route, are my favorite final bosses of all time, and the ending is my favorite ending of all time, bittersweet and not entirely happy, but beautiful and satisfying. Also Asgore is ANOTHER amazing built up character, one of the best, with hearing mixed stuff on him throughout the game, and like with Giygas, his encounter didnt disappoint me either.
The only reason I opened up about this here, is becuz Undertale was inspired by EarthBound, and that I trust you guys. All of you guys seem pretty cool and not toxic at all. And dw, I'm not one of those toxic Undertale fans. What do you guys think of Undertale? :)
Looking for mother1 guide in english like this one but couldn’t find any, where can i find it?
Got this in today. I wasn’t lucky enough to get any more of the “your sanctuary” locations but damn. It’s cool.
Throughout the game you heard a lot about Giygas from Buzz Buzz, his minions, allies like Master Belch, the coffee breaks, and NPCs. You heard how he's powerful and scary, and even if you don't see him until the end, it's not like he didn't do anything, he has been influencing the evil from people's minds and animal's mind and have them attack Ness and friends, his phycick abilities is so strong, he can make inanimate objects sentient and attack Ness and friends, all from many years in the past. He's doing stuff without being scene and that's awesome!
And when you finally encounter him, all that build up did NOT disappoint, throughout the game it's clear he was getting desperate, and its clear that he's scared of Ness and his friends cuz of what the Apple of Enlightenment told him. He was so desperate to succeed in his invasion that he grew so powerful, that only the Devil's Machine can stabilize his mind and body. But when Porky turns off this machine to reveal his new true form, all that build up through out the game, like I said, this finale did NOT disappoint, he's terrifying and you can just FEEL how powerful he is. The ambience, his attacks being an unseen random effect creating a unique challenge, the line "You cannot grasp the true form of Giygas' attack" always sounds awesome to me, the fact that he is represented in one of the best features of this game, as the background, is super awesome, and when you can't do anything but pray is amazing. When he is destabilizing even more after Ness' mom prayers, things felt so much more intense, the ambience is much more chaotic and louder, Giygas is flashing and is losing it, I feel like in universe, the heroes are having a harder time focusing as the energy in the air is getting heavier, and Paula's prayers getting absorbed by the darkness really feels intense and hopeless, until finally, the player, us, prays back, and that dealt the final massive blows to Giygas, finally truly destroying him and causing him to disintegrate into static. Giygas is my favorite video game villain and my favorite final boss of all time! He is imo the BEST built up villain ever! What do you guys think? :)
I just beat Earthbound, and it was probably one of the best games i've ever played, so I made a silly example prompt of a earthbound inspired battle system in ChatGPT:
I want you to act as a Text Adventure turn based rpg game inspired by Earthbound and mother 3, and I want you to only reply with the game output inside one unique code block, and nothing else. Provide at least 6 options for me to choose from every turn in battle: These options are: Bash, PSI, Goods, Guard, Auto Fight, and Run Away. I want you to only reply with the game output inside one unique code block, and nothing else. Each option to choose will be assigned a number 1-6 and I can type and respond with the number to pick that choice. The game should always show one screen, and always wait for me to enter the next command. The game should always show "health", "PP" "Money", and "possible commands" Starting inventory has a Cookie. Do not write explanations. Do not type commands unless I instruct you to do so. It is imperative that these rules are followed without exception. I can do whatever I want that is based on the possible commands. During battle, If I want to use a PSI ability, It costs PP to use. After winning a battle, award me with Money and Exp. Points to level up. I learn a new PSI every 3 levels. The Main character is named David, a chill, reserved boy who can use PSI, and he's at level one, so his only PSI are lifeup and healing. Enemy encounters are randomized. There's a small chance an enemy will use a turn wasting action during battle. (around 15%) The setting will be in the suburbs of a city called Fiveton, and we are attacked by some random toddler.
Feel free to copy and paste, and change some names and stuff if you so please.
