ARMS and Warioware Move It are both all about motion controls. It was the golden chance to give ARMS a Microgame. And it's not because ARMS wasn't recent at the time, because old Nintendo games get Microgames all the time, including Ice Climber.
No hate towards Splatoon, but since it got 2 games for the switch, I think it would be fair for Arms to get another chance before we get another Splatoon.
I want to get me and my friends into arms but they don't usually play fighting games so I was wondering does the game ever go on sale so that they will more likely pick it up
I don't think Arms was a really good game, but its universe and lore and characters... all of that id great, and I think it would've been cool showing us more of this in another genre of game. Like a beat them up.
Each level you play with a different character.
What character archetype is Misango?
Making her moveset 1:1 faithful to ARMS may not have been the best idea since she has less attacks than every other character has and the community think she's a one trick pony as a result. If becoming irrelevant doesn't hurt her chances of returning, being despised by the community will.
I ain’t good at drawing people, or drawing in general but I still tried. Helix and most of Master Mummy is traced tho
I want to learn Byte and Barq more and would like to look at some old good players. Anyone know any good ones?
I just recently got back into this game and i've now worked my way up to grand prix level 6. Any strategies for Springtron, Dr. Coyle, Headlok, or which fighter i should play as?
Why must they be separated this is so sad
I've wanted this game ever since I first got a Switch, and the opportunity has finally risen for me! only problem is, this game is 7 years old and only sold ok. So I'm worried I'll waste my $60 picking it up. Would you say it's worth picking up?
I have no idea if the studio has closed or if they plan to continue with the project, but in case they haven’t shut down and are still working, I don’t know.. I think ARMS sold quite well.
After the DLC of Smash and considering that ARMS 1 was released at the beginning of the Nintendo Switch’s life, I would love to see an ARMS 2 for the Nintendo Switch 2. It would definitely be one of the games I’d buy because I remember it was one of my favorite games during the first year of the Nintendo Switch.
As the title says. Picked up the game a cpl weeks ago, and I love it.
I immediately had an affinity for ribbon girl which isn’t my typical style of character but I’m determined to make it work.
Problem is, I haven’t found much Ribbon girl footage in like, the few vids I’ve seen.
I know her unique mechanics are her multiple jumps and fast drop but I’d love to see some examples of how good players utilize them in actual competitions.
If anyone can tell me of any resources, or how to access them, I’d appreciate it.
Can't find a party....
Recently realized that some players manage to disconnect a match but remain in the lobby. How do they do that?
Oh no reddit app crop he head off
I see people mentioning that the online is still decently active. But I also know the community has self organized in a few discord servers.
What’s the best server community for someone looking to learn and get better, and wants to get decent at this?
I’ve been looking for an accessible fighting game with some viability on switch, with a decent enough player base that I could learn, maybe some regular casual tourneys to try?
So, ARMS seems like it could maybe do that, but there’s like, three discord servers and I’m not sure where’s best and like, how to get into things?
We could give the sequel a title that doesn't indicate that it's an ARMS sequel, this way it could sell more copies. I'm sorry, but titling it ARMS 2 isn't the best marketing strategy since the first game didn't take off.
