I was thinking about this ever since they’ve shown off the Country expansion. Whether they’ll show the next one as Mario themed again or a Nintendo IP outside of Mario. The groundwork is very much set up for more Mario stuff but I can’t imagine they will want to skip out on Zelda or Animal Crossing 🤔 but it would also be a safe move and make sense as well if they went the Mario side.

To start Waluigi’s door would be right next to Wario’s door in the character door room, to unlock him you would have to go into the basement of the castle as Wario and find Waluigi’s painting, you would then be transported to a piranha plant infested forest/jungle where the boss you would have to fight would be Petey Piranha, after beating him as Wario you would then get Waluigi’s key to unlock his door, Waluigi would be the fastest of the 5 playable characters and his power flower ability would be him running really fast and jumping very high, and yeah that how I would see Waluigi being playable if he was in Super Mario 64 DS!

I am playing Mario Wonders and cannot pass the boosting spin jump 2. I’ve spent hours on it. I’ve left and come back and I am over it. I get the concept too. I am right at end with the three spin things. I’ve gotten to the top, but keep falling. I have tried going near the 10 flower coin and fall. Any ideas?

How did Boo become Boo? Who was Boo before he died?

While considering who the most prominent of Bowser’s minions are and which ones could get promoted to a more prominent role in the future (like how Spike has enjoyed a significant surge in prominence in recent years), it occurred to me how the humble Bob-omb might be the most prominent member of Bowser’s forces to not get much if any playable representation. This is likely a matter of Bob-ombs often filling more of an “item” role in a lot of games, but it is still a little odd to think how big a part of Mario iconography they are and yet still receive very little recognition as a playable character. It took until the most recent Mario Golf to even give the more unique King Bob-omb a playable appearance, but outside of Paper Mario partners I don’t think the garden variety Bob-omb has been playable. Even the basic Piranha Plant has been playable in Smash, and it’s not like a limb deficiency has stopped the likes of Boo or Goomba from getting more love.

So what do you think, should Bob-omb be playable in the next Mario Party? Maybe they should bring back the long-forgotten Bob-omb Buddy to set it apart from its more disposable brethren? What other Mario mainstays have been unjustly treated as second-class citizens? Maybe even Bullet Bill could be more than a “fire and forget” projectile!

What music (be it a whole bgm song or just a short motif) is the mario equivalent of "pure unadulterated panic and stress"? Y'know, the mario music that gave you nightmares as a child? For me I (31m) still mute the game during the Black Chest segments of Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. I absolutely hate that weird staticky screeching sound. Makes me cold sweat.

Edit: u/thatonesquidkid wins this one... River Twygz Bed is fear given form. And had no business being in mario game. I noped out after about 5 seconds.
