I’ve gone through two Wii2HDMI converters, and both have had the same fate.

They work fine at first, but after a few minutes the picture gets really wavy. It’s unintelligible, so I turn the console off. From then on, no matter what resolution the Wii is set to, and no matter how many times I hit the tiny button with a toothpick, I just cannot get a picture again. Why does this happen? Are these just cheap garbage appliances?

The fact that the same exact thing happened with two separate brands makes me think that there may be something wrong that I am doing.

So I recently found a copy of cyberbike for dirt cheap but the bike was not included, do you need the bike to play it? Can you play it with just the wiimote?

So I have an old wii from when I was a kid and I thought it broke and my family bought another one and I thought they just threw it away over a decade later I find it in a random box and decide to see what was wrong by myself uprise it powered on connected to my wii remotes just fine and even played games however there was no audio. I am not certain what caused this I think it's might have been because of the av cable being taken out aggressively from a fall but on further inspection the port looks perfectly fine has anyone had this problem and wha can I do to fix it?

I know some games require it and those that dont benefit from more precision but how much improvement are we looking at?

asking since only have 1 original wiimote olus and few normal ones. original wiimote plus are expensive and the add on attachment is rare and also wont fit zappers.

The little finger thing that you use to select things isn’t popping up and I don’t know what to do. I just put fresh batteries in the wiimote but the only thing that is working is the minus, plus, and home button

My stepdad insists it will be fine but I really have my doubts, considering other electronics can't handle extreme cold/heat so why would a Wii?

edit: I've had this Wii for about 10 years and I am very attached to it for sentimental reasons, so I am not willing to take any risks 😔

And does the sd card store my progress on different games?

Hello guys! I've started playing games on Nintendont using wiimote + nunchuck and also messed around a couple times with button settings but none fits my needs to play the SSX and major games because of how annoyingly the motion controls get involved when you don't want them to. So I'm now looking for the best controller I can attach to my wiimote, but there's a catch in case you already didn't get it, it can't be a GameCube controller: both of my Wiis are family versions and don't have those ports so it's a no no. I've read that the classic controller is really good but at that point couldn't I just get the pro version which is more comfortable to hold? Thank you guys very much in advance.

Yes it is an easy game that one can breeze tru in 1 hour, but the medal requirements makes the game real tuff. i barely get bronze and for some odd reason when i think i was doing well my score were surprisingly low compared to my pevious runs.

i am using wiizapper and still have hard time hitting bulls eye. other stages i have not much clue how to get high scores despite knowing the scarecrow gimmick.

water levels are the worst.

anyone find this game challenging?

Following up on a previous question I asked on this sub, whilst I now know Project M, +, and EX Remix can only be installed on the North American version of Brawl, what about Universe? Can I at least get that on the European version of the game?

I have NO WiiLink nor RC24, and randomly I got 4 messages:

• RC24 end
• Something else I can't remember

I just bought this Wii (and I think it hasn't been on since around that time, atleast on the internet). Usually I'd understand but the weird thing is that I saw someone else with this too. What is happening? (The Wii I bought is my second)

I just bought a Link Crossbow with wiizapper set for few bucks. having owned the copy zapper all these time i though it would be a good upgrade for few bucks.

apparently the copy zapper is better built. the wire cover is tight unlike nintendo's which is abit loose (not sure if it was vecause no wire is inside).

the foregrip where the trigger is is also not as solid as the copy, the screw on the original to secure the grip cover is smaller than the normal screws used on the copy. the grips feels looser when you are twisting the foregrip and back handles like minor play while the copy feels solod like 1 single piece. the plastic used on the copy also feel stronger.

if you never handled both it would be difficult to spot real and fake zappers.

the obvious sign would be the original uses a mix of smaller tri-wing screws, slightly bigger philips and 1 bigger philips.

The grey plastic for the wiimote is also much darker on the fakes, and the white plastic has a slight grey tint.

internally the concaved areas where the screws are are slightly different.

i have decided to continue using my trusty copy zapper and keep the original in storage.

i cant really doible wield 2 wiizappers so thinking of getting 1 of the nerf pistol blaster.

Any recommendations for some casual cozy games to play on the wii? Already considering getting animal crossing but heard the controls are frustrating

i'm thinking about getting a wii but i'm not sure if the tv i have at home will work with it.

The nintendo wii RCA cable have three outpits, yellow red and white, and i've noticed that my tv only has two, being yellow and red.

Do you guys know if the wii will work with my tv only using these two cables ?

So yesterday, I got one of those Wii HDMI converters. I can't believe how much better games look on it. Only downside is the black bars on the side. The GCN Wind Waker looks amazing. My camera doesn't really do it justice. Way better than without it.

Im new to wii modding but i have games that I owned already installed as RVZs on my computer, and I know they dont work on wii hardware. Is there anyway to convert those games to the proper format?

My original Wii’s video output is failing….I can force it to work using a component cable (but the screen is distorted and monochrome), I just bought a new Wii that works perfectly…….is there a way to clone the entire contents (downloaded games and save files) to my new Wii?
