GBA is in such great condition as well I just need games!
My dad surprised me with a gba and super mario advance and jurassic Park the DNA factor, that was a good day since it was super bright so I could see the screen.
Sound has its own control register where you can load in your own sound files on the gba, but I'm at a loss as to how devs managed to get video to work. Did they use mode 3 to constantly draw images for each frame? Even if you use DMA that has to be way too much for the hardware to handle right?
I’ve just learned I’m far beyond horrendous at these X zero games. Are they meant to be that hard or do I just suck at games now. It took me forever to beat the intro stage on x3 and I couldn’t beat any of the stages available after so I moved to x2 . Same thing here. Took forever to beat the intro stage now I can’t beat any of the levels. It’s depressing
This is what I have collected over the years by hand me downs my favorite is the copy of Pokemon Silver, it's my favorite video game of all time and my first. The original Gameboy was my dad's and he gave it to me with most of those games.
Modelled these in blender after mudkip, torchic and treecko
I believe the 2 pads you can but I'm not 100% sure. This was $1.25 CAD on AliExpress and I think it's pretty cool to physically have
Found these at an antique store, are they all remakes? Under these games are the power 9 mtg card proxies
The sound with works perfectly with earphones but I get no sound when I unplugged it...
it plays game boy color and game boy games perfectly, but gba games it freezes or load the games with a lots of problems.
Gameboy Advanced NES SP (SP) (in plastic clam shell case) Gameboy Micro Famicom (micro)
Dragonball Z Buu's Fury (bf) Pokemon Leaf Green (lg)
Assume all real products.
Had bf in the SP, hours in and no problems. Was less careful than normal with stowing, and my SP was just in a gorcery bag I had with me at a job site. Clean room conditions, but the bag was moving around a bit, and was also carrying my glass food container. So, assume some jostling and probable inner bag collision.
Went to fire up SP, and bf won't load. Try resetting 20 times, no avail. Two days later on a whim, try again. Bf loads, and save file present. I was away from home at the time.
Got back home, turned on SP. Bf stuck on "Atari" logo screen. Reset SP twice, game fires up past logo screens, but save file missing. Start new file, and backgrounds are glitched and showing grass where clouds would be and strange pixel-artifacts on sky background. (No pics, as I am afraid of frying bf or something).
SP and micro play lg just fine. Gonna crack open some other games to test on SP. And I have another SP I can try bf on.
Micro plays bf just fine, including save file present. So at least I can finish bf (and def replay. Rec pick it up if you like Dragonball. The whole DBZ Legacy trilogy is great imo).
I'm wondering if there is some specific damage on SP and bf due to jostling and collision, that lines up physically to create a major misread?
Anyway, sorry for lack of pics. I don't wanna fry bf with the SP somehow hahaha. Thanks and take care.
What shells should I reshell them with ?
Hi guys
I need some help
I have an issue with my GBA SP: It won't play GBA games anymore. I tried pokemon yellow and that one works...
If I try to run a GBA game, the nintendo logo shows up on the GB start screen and then it just gets stuck on a white / black screen, depending on what game is in it.
Could it have something to do with the contacts I circled in the picture? I tried to solder in some wires for an IPS screen and some of the solder ended up dripping on there... Cleaned it up as well as I could without a solder wick but maybe I ruined something?
If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know
Got it all for $50! Definitely the highlight of my day
my gba ins't running gba games. gbc and gb games workshop fine. the cartridges workshop fine in my gba SP. i open and clean it but the errors persist.
