Just beat one of my fav N64 games and top the ranks of whoever owned it before me lol
Project64 is locked at 25 FPS, and I notice that Mario 64 runs slower compared to other emulators like Simple64. How can I fix this? Project64 is my top choice for usability, so I’d love to get it running properly.
I never played these 2 games but was thinking of purchasing them, are they worth buying?
My friend played a game on the n64 when they were very little and cannot remember much about it but I am very curious to find out what the game is. The information we have is that it is a third person perspective, in like a village where you would do quests and it had a very “dark and dreary atmosphere” according to them. They also remember being cursed and turned into a chicken by what presumably may be a witch? There was lots of animals like chickens and dogs? This is very little to go off but if anyone knows what this is please help.
I grew up playing N64. My grandfather gave it to me as a gift when I was 6 and it was one of the best I ever received. I played a lot of the classics like Zelda, Kirby, Yoshi's Story, and a bunch more. Getting back into the 64 now. I have a 3yo and would like to introduce some simple video games. What are the best options for games on the 64 for kids learning to play? No weapons or violence. Might be a tall order but am hoping to find a hidden gem or two that would work to teach the basics and not too frustrating! Thanks everyone
Hello N64 people, Over 10 years ago I bought a replacement analog stick for an N64 controller. I don't remember the brand, but it was a lot like a GameCube stick. The experience was not great. It was too sensitive and was only good for some games. I could not play GoldenEye or perfect dark with it. I am wondering what more recent experiences with replacement analog sticks have been? Are they better now, or should I save up for a good controller? Thanks
Is there a reputable place where I can buy one? Preferrably under $100. EDIT: I can do the firmware and stuff myself, dont worry about the title
That emulator is so good on og hardware and the blur is really holding it back. Is there a cheatcode like how there are for n64 games that can remove the anti aliasing?
Before reading the comments, what Donovan's backstory, in your own words.
i just today am starting to use a n64 emulator to play mario 64 but it says press start and i couldnt figure out how so i even connected my xbox controller just to like make sure yknow and i dont know if i need an actual n64 controller to do this but i cant get it to work. what do i do?
I know a lot of people didn’t really like this game but I remember renting it from blockbuster when I was a kid and just thought it was so cool playing a game that was meant for adults so I love this game forever
I swung by another store and found these 2. Been eyeballing them online but was too excited to find then in person to pass them up 😬
I’m looking for more fps games for my n64. I have goldeneye, perfect dark, and doom 64. I like he style of doom 64 a lot and duke Nukem seems to capture that same feel. Plus the humor is my kind of humor. So for those who have played, should I buy it, or are there any better ones that I should take a look at.
The ones people use as a second laptop screen. Any help appreciated. Thinking of maybe getting one. 16" or so. Maybe one that can display at 4:3
Does Perfect Dark need an expansion pak? I just bought it but haven't played it yet.
As many of you know, the nintendo 64 is by far the most relationed console to the vaporwave scene (rip btw). Why do you think it is? PSX and Sega Saturn/dreamcast had a strongest urban japanese 90's vibe that I personally think that catches up slightly better than Nintendo 64. Anyway Nintendo 64 is my favorite liefetime console and it's mostly because of the vaporwave scene (rip again).
I've been searching online for a while on how to do something like this, but haven't seen anything super concrete. Does anyone know if something like this is possible? Thanks in advance.
