I live in Toronto. I’ve made up my mind to get a Nintendo Switch OLED and the price has been consistent for a fee months at around CAD 449. I even went to the Gamestop store last evening to enquire if there will be discounts with Black Friday sale and was told there was one last year but they’re not sure this time around. Wanted to check with the community (based on previois years or other insights) if I should wait till Black Friday OR is it not worth the wait. Does the Switch OLED evenn get deep discounts? Also, if I am to buy now, are there ways to get points/cashback etc. I read the forums and looks like shopper’s drugmart used to sell it previously and the 20x poont redemption was a good deal, but I don’t see then selling Switch OLED anymore.
Hi all, I am currently in Japan right now and thinking to pick up a switch OLED version. The price is really good right now considering tax free and the exchange rate.
I've been reading about how if anything happens to the system, the warranty may not be applicable in Canada since I bought it in Japan.
Just wanted to see if anyone had successfully sent your japan bought switch in for repairs at Nintendo canada? And is the warranty only good for 1 year? What do you do if it breaks down after that?
Thanks.
My friends and I are looking for people to join a family bundle for Nintendo online with us.
let us know if you are interested!
I’ll be travelling from Canada to NZ soon and hopefully taking my switch. Does anyone know of issues with charging since NZ has 240v instead of 110. Has anyone had any issues with charging overseas. Thanks in advance
Hello everyone,
I have most of my collection on Ikea Lack shelves and they've gotten quite dusty.
I'm looking for advice on cleaning them. I'm guessing a damp cloth might be best? Some of them are quite dusty, and compressed air won't get it all off, but wiping it will. What are the best ways to clean and prevent dust in the future?
How do you guys store/shelve your open amiibo? Was thinking of buying a few risers to display them better, what are the cheapest/best options for that?
