I have had an awful time with nintendo UK and I want to complain to someone but when I asked the live chat people they say by sending a message through my account to the management team requesting to raise a complaint but I've been through my account and cannot see this?
Please help, they are driving me round in circles here.
Hi Folks, I'm sure this question has been asked many times before, but I could do with some advice.
I got my Switch at launch, and I've been hit with the dreaded Left Joycon stick drifting when playing games. Its been this way for an age, and we've lived with it, but now it is virtually unplayable. The right Joycon is now showing signs of the same issue.
My question is, as I am out of warranty now, will Nintendo UK repair the issue for me, and if they do, how much will it cost?
Sadly, the issue started not long after it was out of warranty, and I was saddened to see it, as I am not used to Nintendo products having such widespread hardware issues.
My Animal Crossing right JoyCon has a couple of small scratches on it. It is only cosmetic damage so the warranty won't cover it however, due to Nintendo's awful deaign of the JoyCon, I have accumulated many broken JoyCon components from the countless times that I have had to repair either my own, my sister's or my friends' JoyCons. If I replace a load of the internal components of my JoyCon with broken ones, I could send the JoyCon to Nintendo and if they don't notice that I have tampered with it, they may send me a replacement joycon therefore I no longer have scratches and don't have to spend £50 on eBay for a replacement.
I have no issue with the fact I would essentially be scamming Nintendo. I have had so many JoyCons break for so many reasons plus I have spent an ungodly amount of money on their products. And I also couldn't care less because they're anti-consumer scumbags anyway.
I'm wondering if my plan is viable or if Nintendo will just realise what I'm doing?

Hi! So, yesterday, I ordered an Nintendo Switch bundle that comes with the actual switch, the controllers, the wires needed, the console, a case, ACNH and extra pins. I chose the 'next day delivery option' for orders over £200 (the bundle was £330. However, It's the next day and It hasn't arrived. I don't mind waiting a little bit longer but I'm reading stories, about the store, and many people seem to be having the same Issue. The store says that they have dispatched It but that's all the Information that It gives. I will wait longer and see If It arrives but has anyone got any advice that could help?
Honestly, why even let me order it? I ordered a Toon Link Smash Bros amiibo on the 11th, with the site stating that the amiibo was due to dispatch on the 17th, and I was able to order the amiibo with little to no issue. Fast forward a couple days and I begin to notice that money hasn’t been taken out of my account, for either the new Mario game or the amiibo. I asked Nintendo’s live chat and got a pretty good response: they dispatched the game that same day and told me that they were still waiting on stock for the toon link amiibo. I contacted them again the next day and they said they weren’t sure when the stock would arrive. They haven’t cancelled the order entirely, so it must be coming soon, right? My question is this: has anyone else ever had this happen to them? If so, how long did it take for the item to come back into stock? Is it worth waiting or should I just cancel the order and get it for a couple pounds more on Amazon?
Hi, I recently preordereda physical version of the Super Mario 3D All Stars game through the UK Nintendo Store.
Will I receive this game on the day of release?
Do you guys know what's the best portable USB-C monitor (For camping use) for my switch in the UK please? I have only found two monitors that has built-in battery on Amazon.co.uk but would like to hear some suggestion please. My list so far is:
Pepper Jobs XtendTouch XT1610F(V2)
ASUS ZenScreen Touch MB16AMT Portable Monitor
thanks.
After reading so many stories about ACNH and other great Nintendo games I decided to join the fun! With high hopes I've visited store.nintendo.co.uk webpage and placed my pre- order for a bundle which includes: switch console, ACNH game and a case. Order was placed on 1 August 2020. Based on the information on their website they were expecting to dispatch it on 7 August, however I did not receive any update regarding my order on that day. As I understand that stock and services are disturbed due to the currecnt situation I did not chase it until 11 August as this was the day they were expecting to dispatch new stock. Unfortunately, it was not the case and once again, I did not receive any email from Nintendo regarding my order. I wrote to customer service politely asking when my order will be dispatched as they already took payment from my bank account on 10 August and based on their website payments are taken only on dispatch. I received a quick reply saying that my order will be on it's way today, but again I did not receive an email confirming dispatch. It's been a really disappointing experience as my order is still stuck in "processing" stage since day one and by the look of things it is not going to be dispatched soon, despite the fact that the console and a game was already in stock for over a week. Did any of you had similar experience with Nintendo UK store? I wanted to cancel my order all together, but after reading some of the stories online I think there is no way I will be able to get my money back.

I'm looking to meet some new Nintendo fans based in the UK to play online with. Does this subreddit have a discord server? Do you know of any Nintendo uk fan servers?
I have ordered the new Paper Mario that is due to release Friday. I have never preordered from store.nintendo so was wondering how long after release date other games have taken to arrive from preorder. Does anyone know if they arrive on the day it’s released?
Hiya,
I bought a Switch Lite at the end of May because I couldn’t find any normal Switches for love nor money and I wanted to get my mum one. She ended up with my old dockable Switch and I have the Lite.
I actually really like it, I played mostly handheld anyway, but after a couple of weeks I noticed some drifting on the left joystick. I contacted Nintendo UK and they sent me a form and postage stamp to send it back to them and receive an exchange.
It arrived at the destination the day after the courier collected it. And they told me it can take up to 2 weeks to process it before sending me my replacement.
Has anyone else had to exchange with Nintendo UK? How long did it take for you. I can’t believe it takes up to 2 weeks to scan in a box so they can send out the new one. Seems a bit of a joke honestly.
I’m almost tempted to just buy a Switch Lite from somewhere like GAME or Argos and then take the one Nintendo sends me back to the shop for a refund. Or sell it online or something. At least then I’d have a Switch. If it takes 2 weeks to process and then however long to deliver it it’s gonna be ages before I get it back.
Any experiences here?
Thank you.
Looking to connect with gamers in my time zone, Ive found my self playing single player only for years and now looking to make new connections for some multi player fun.
I've been looking to buy a switch since the lockdown started (really want to play animal crossing). I can not seem to find any at a reasonable price. If anyone knows any trustworthy ways to buty a swicth for a reasonable price, i would greatly appreciate a link. Cheers.
Hi.. I am a PS4 player (mostly casual) and have decided to pickup a Nintendo Switch Lite to get into something a bit different as I've grown a little bored of the big games on playstation.. I find a lot of the big PS4 games serious, overwhelming, a lot to learn.. and I tend to lose interest.
Then I look at the Nintendo titles and it all looks a lot of fun!
So for my first 2 games I am set on Luigi's Mansion 3 and then either Zelda BOTW or ACNH... which combination do you think would be best? Or do you have other recommendations..
Thanks for any advice! :)
So 2 days ago I ordered a nintendo switch from the official UK store and my order is still processing. I read on nintendo support that, because of demand, some pre-orders won't be accepted but they'll let you know within 48 hours. In the meantime a couple other stores brought switches back in stock but i can't order any yet cause I'm still waiting on nintendo. Does it usually take this long?
