If the Rams can't go to the super bowl, fuck it let it be 49ers losing to the Chiefs in the super bowl then.
With the dodgers winning the world series today and winning in 2020. I guess we are in tandem with another LA team
Congrats to them.
I have been diagnosed with Stage 4 Liver Cancer. I don't want anyone going off the deep end its part of life. I have lived a long full one IMHO. Treatment is a MD Anderson in Houston, and I am 5 years into a maintenance program that will maybe give me 5 more.
I was born in Oroville and came to the South with my Grandparents. When I was 6, I picked the Rams as my team. Could have been SF or Oakland maybe SD but it was the Rams. I was from CA, and I knew I could not pick the Cryboys. I developd a deep dislike for SF & the Cryboys. Which was made worse when JJ bought them. Jimmy Johnson good guy Jerry Jones a snake in the grass. Both Razorbacks but so different.
Anyway the point of this is I have a bunch of Rams gear. My 1st Jersey was Nolan Cromwell #21 Rawlings I bought in 77 at sears.
I want this stuff to go to people who appreciate it and know what it means. I would also like to sell it auction it I am not sure to help pay my Medical bills.
Thoughts Ideas I am not in a hurry.
I would also like to tell some stories about Louie and Dick Vermeil. I moved back to CA to finish HS at Manteca. And both were big influences on my Racing Career in NorCal. #21N Modified Midget, Midgets and Sprint Cars.
While Beaux has done an amazing job filling in at center as a rookie, I would feel more comfortable with the above two back shoring up the LG position…it suck’s so much that we paid out Jjax and he went down…I believe McVay said he’s unsure….I would have thought they’d be back by now unless McVay underplayed the seriousness of their injuries.
Let him sit and learn for a year or two years. Perfect situation in my mind
Love the Positivity and the W.
So last week I picked Kupp, who I predicted to have 2 TD and 7 receptions, and well, I was not far off in my thinking.
Anyway, my highlighted player for this week is Puka. To be honest, I wasn't expecting him to come back last week or put up 100+ yards on his return, but he was what this offensive needed. So this week I believe he will have another 100-yard game along with 3 TDs.
Let me know who your highlighted player is for this week.
Given what we've all watched Verse do so far as a rookie, along with a pretty good crop of overall 1st round talent, is there any 1st round pick you rather have seen as a Ram if you could just do a straight 1-to-1 trade right now?
Draft position, trade value of picks, etc all not a factor, and let's not look past rookie year - someone that would be on the team right now and contributing every game as a primary starter.
I wouldn't give up Verse for anyone personally and was ecstatic when they took him - he was scouted as a potential top-5 player in the draft by some people, but everyone agreed team needs were going to push him back and I couldn't believe the Rams got him quite as late as they did!
If I was forced into choosing someone over Verse, there are only 2 offense players thus far who I would consider but I won't sway any debate by putting their names in the OP.
They're barely doing an episode a week at this point.
Are they not getting paid enough or just too busy? I understand the Dodgers are in the world series but surely there are people who can focus on the Rams out there
Much has been said and much more can be said. But this is what I'd like to say.
It's rare that a RB wins NFL League MVP. Even more so when on a team so pass happy that it had both a 1,471 yard receiver AND a 1635 yard receiver that same season.
Even more rare when missing 2 games due to mid-season knee surgery.
But that's exactly what Marshall Faulk did in the 2000 season.
14 Games played.
1382 rushing yards on 5.4 yards per carry and 18 rushing touchdowns.
Throw in 830 receiving yards and 8 receiving touchdowns for a total of 2,212 total yards from scrimmage and 26 touchdowns.
All on one of the most prolific passing teams of all time during an era that wasn't all that pass happy. In 14 games.
Pretty dang good.
West Area Scout for the past 11 years, scouted and argued for drafting Puka Nacua. Potentially changed the franchise for a long time
Rams have a longer break than normal or shorter break for 5 straight games.
Raiders: after the bye long break Vikings: short week Thursday night football Seahawks: long week after playing on Thursday night Dolphins: long week since it’s Monday night Patriots: short week since they played Monday night
Especially curious about the 2 rookies we had starting
I'm a Packers fan who is absolutely in awe of what Malik Willis is doing in Matt Lafleur's offense. Willis doesn't have a future in Green Bay beyond his existing contract (through next year) because he'll be too good of a back up to live behind Love. I figure the Rams are his best fit with Stafford likely on his way out, McVay being part of the same Shanahan coaching tree as Matt Lafleur, and Matt's brother being the offensive coordinator. Willis got burned so bad by the Titans that I don't think he'll go to a bad organization like the Raiders for any price, so it really does seem like the natural fit. He'd just be a FA in 2026 so no trade capital required and his price will probably be a high end backup where he goes to the Rams for the opportunity to compete for the starting spot rather than backup someone who's not going anywhere. Seems pretty low risk / high reward.
I'm not saying he'll be your guy, but he's a guy you should look at / get excited about.
Got it for $10 and wondering if I should keep it. It’s pretty low key and one of those subtle designs that nobody would ever really know what it is
FTS!!!!
