Got to see a few fellow Redditors/ dodger fans here.
Chris Rose did quite an illuminating interview with MiggyRo here that goes into how Andrew Friedman texted him on Sunday nite to ask for his number for Roki Sasaki, how he's helping Mookie with playing shortstop, etc. I really enjoyed Miggy shedding light on what goes on behind the scenes, and Chris Rose asked good questions. Have a watch!
Good morning, r/Dodgers!
Welcome to day 96 of the offseason. Only 17 days until the Dodgers' first Spring Training game of 2025!
Start of Spring Training - Thu 20 February 2025
End of Spring Training - Tue 25 March 2025
Opening Day - Wed 26 March 2025
What were your favorite television shows when you were growing up?
What is your favorite sport to play?
What’s something that a lot of people are missing out on because they don’t know about it?
Have a great day, r/Dodgers.
Bear with me here, I just saw a post about how Ohtani apparently accounts for 9 of the Dodgers' 10 longest home runs in the 2024 season and I'm waiting for something to bake.
(Shout out Will Smith, he was #8 at 451ft.)
So if we put the dude in the most ideal conditions possible, how far can he nuke a ball? Say we throw Ohtani absolute meatballs, stick him in a good homer-friendly park (I assume Coors?), and give him one of those disallowed bats that lets a batter blast balls into orbit (I think they're metal?) — what's the max distance on one good hit.
Would Coors even be the best park to try that, or are there stadiums that are designed to allow balls to travel really far out if hit right 🤔
I searched the sub and saw someone mention he hit a ball 490ft(?) with the Angels once, so would he top that?
This will be my family’s first time visiting Dodgers stadium from out of state so I’m trying to make sure I get everything right. Planning on going to see them play the cubs in April. Does anyone know if tickets go on sale at midnight or is it sometime mid-morning? Thank you so much in advance!!
Personally I'm really high on De Paula. Dude's got an insane bat, and I really feel like he's our next blue-chip prospect.
With that being said however, Rushing and Hope also look like the real deal as well, and Ferris looks to be our next long-term lefty starting pitching star. Man our future is bright....
Of these guys, which one are you the most hyped for?
The 2025 Dodgers promotional schedule is now available. There is a whole season of great games to see at the Ravine.
What are the biggest home games of the season? To attend and/orget the promo?
Last year, the Shohei bobblehead was sold out craziness but now there are 4+ of them.
The blue in the Dodger logo used to shine and look glossy. Same for the name and numbers.
What is your take on how this trade would be Dodgers edition? What are some scenarios you can come up with?
