I am completely tired of the media and sports broadcasters writing us off.. Dallas barely won because of a few mistakes made last night and they are giving them the series!? WTF?? Literally missed Free throws, and a few Misses by ZU at the basket is the difference in the game. I was there, and yes it was stressful, but neither team scored 100 so It was bad ball on both sides.. we need to put them away "again" and end this nonsense. We killed them without Kawhi, now he will get 2 practices in and lets see how the ball drops.

I'm not a fan of our offense - the ISO after ISO is really hard to watch when shots aren't falling. But a 0/5 3PT and 7/17FG game is not going to happen again from the Klaw.

We had to lose a game to be reminded nothing is going to be handed to us. We got the message now it's on to Game3!

He did a good job with the Zubac adjustment, but I’m not scared.

Watch his interview. I don’t think he knows what he’s doing. If Ty can’t get a win with adjustments in Dallas, it’s gonna be embarrassing. There’s way more talent on this team even if Kawhi isn’t 75% of himself.

This loss hurt, but as frustrating as T Lue can be experimenting in the regular season, I think he’s built for this.

He is not Zu. What worked with Zu on Sunday is obviously what they are trying to get with Plumlee and it isn’t going to happen, at least not in the time span we need it to in this series. While there were A LOT of issues tonight (the offense GOOD GOD 🥴😭) and obviously the Mavs watched Sunday’s tape until the tape was tattered, Plumlee in the first set us back and set a bad tone. It’s wild to me he only played 10 minutes when it felt like a fuckin ETERNITY watching him squander so many opportunities.

Does anyone know why Theis isn’t getting any minutes? Not sure why they didn’t put Theis in after seeing Plum consistently fumble unless there is something I missed (googled it but again, always possible I missed something, which I genuinely hope rn bc it makes no sense to me).

At the end of the day, it was a MESSSSSYYY ass game for both sides and they only won by 3. And if Kawhi oils his rusty Tin Man ass up (as well as the rest of our offense jfc) we’ll be good. I know we can pull this, especially if we can get Luka off the floor. But it’s not gonna happen if we continuously pass to someone who cannot handle the ball.

Get to the elbow or post up while everyone else watches.

If he doesn't hit 3 in a row and get doubled, nobody else gets involved. Then you can't get PG or James going because they're playing off ball most of the game.

We have to view Kawhi as our bailout option. Its a bad possession if we start with him when he doesn't have an obvious mismatch. We have to be smarter than just running the "take turns" offense. PG and James are our best players on ball, if we define clear offensive roles like this then Kawhi can turn up the energy on defense.

Let’s not go quietly into that road game, travel… uh… night?

I mean seriously, I just don’t know what we’re supposed to do any more. We all know that we should be up 2-0 after tonight. But Adam Silver has made it abundantly clear that he wants the his golden boy Luka to advance in the playoffs so he can get glazed by the media and generate revenue for the shareholders. It’s just ridiculous. Kawhi PG Harden Russ can get mauled and the refs won’t call it but as soon as you touch Luka or any of his goons it’s free throws. At least the commentary was good at calling the Mavs out on it I guess.

Hey y’all… I don’t care if you’ve been down since Harden or Russ got here, since 213 signed, since Lob City, since EB and Maggette, since the Sports Arena, or hell, even if you’ve been a fan since San Diego or Buffalo. (As an aside, me personally? I’ve been a fan since I was 12 years old - I was a ball boy in the mid 90s, and I grew up practicing baseline jumpers so I could be more like Loy Vaught. But that’s not the point.) You’re here, which means you are one of one of the proud members of Clipper Nation, and that makes you my brother or sister. And my brothers, my sisters, lend me your ears for a brief moment.

This is without question the best collection of talent we have ever seen don the red, white and blue. We are led by a fantastic tactician, and our owner is literally the freaking best (love ya, Ballmer, mean it). We all want to see this team get it done - we want the Hollywood movie ending, and we want to open Intuit with a ring ceremony.

But I realized something today, while watching multiple videos of Kawhi methodically warming up, nailing his patented middys and turnarounds.

I just want one goddamn healthy run for this team. No tweaked knees. No busted elbows. No COVID. No pandemics. No GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKING JOE INGLES (Fuck you forever, Joe… ‘21 was ours). No bullshit.

Just one, healthy, straightforward run with a group of guys that obviously love playing for this team, with each other, and who rep the city well.

If it ends with a ring, I will sob. I’m a grown ass man with a wife and kids, and teared up in Staples Center when we beat the Jazz in Game 6 to clinch our first WCF appearance. I can only imagine what a pathetic mess I will be if we raise our first banner.

If it ends in the first round against Dallas, I’ll be sad, and I’ll hurt for our guys, but I’ll wake up the next day and still be a Clipper fan. It’s for life, for me, y’all. Blood in, blood out. Proud to be one of the 29 true LAC fans, por vida.

But no matter what. Let them be healthy. Let them hoop. Let them determine their destiny.

I was there for win #1 on Sunday. I hope to be there for #16 in a month or so. But no matter how it ends, let our boys be the ones to end it. Not fate, not luck, and not injury.
