Hi all, my friend bought tickets for a game this week and wants to tranfer 1 to me. Now for signing in, I need to verify my phone number. Now the app always indicates my phone number is not valid and I do not receive the verification text. I think the issue lays with the fact that I am from Belgium and thus have a european phone number. Anyone had any experience with this?
Also the weird thing is, my friend did not need to verify his number so he did not have any issues. I don't get any replies from the contact desk...
Lamar said himself that he wants to see at least one of his kids play for the Clips. With Lonzo getting potentially shipped can the Clippers scoop him up and reunite the ball brothers?
It’ll forever be Fuck the Lakers tho
We got Eubanks and Patty Mills and we're actually fine with it lol.
Anyways we still move. Hope there's a fire sale somewhere
With all the talk around the clippers pivoting for a younger star thru FA, here's a list of (relevant) free-agents who could be available:
2026 PO:
2026 FA:
2027 PO:
2027 FA:
Steph Curry (39)
Kawhi Leonard (36)
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (29)
Tyler Herro (27)
RJ Barret (27)
Keep in mind, a lot of these players a heavily financially incentivized to resign on an extension. Tbh, the only players remotely plausible to acquire thru FA (and make sense for the future) could be Trae Young, Jalen Green, RJ Barret. Now, a lot could change, but I don't see how this can be a winning strategy to compete for a championship in the modern era. Not to mention, now that the Lakers have Luka Doncic, a lot of FA will gravitate towards the other team instead of the clippers who are lead by aging stars (not even superstars).

could this trade turn out to be worse than our trade with pg?
They won in the 2028-29 Season
My first thought was, 'What are the Mavs doing?' But after letting it sink in, I get it. Luka's an offensive force, but let's be real, his defense is a problem, he's always chirping to the refs (something his team has even addressed), and he's been injury-prone. This move is a clear win-now gamble. Luka's a generational talent, but AD's prime is now and he's an All-Defense player. The Mavs are betting big on the present. It will all be worth it if they win. They traded Luka away for a reason and they know something...
It seems like people have been investigated for much less suspicious behavior. Also they vetoed the CP3 trade and that was much less lopsided than this.
Make it make sense...
They had a 25yo top 3 player in the league just reaching his prime, can easily be the best player in the league in the future, offensive weapon and can solo carry any team, face of your team for the next ten years(easily). And they decided to trade him? And for what? Anthony Davis(top 10 player in the league rn imo)? An injury prone guy who at this point in his career has gotten kind of inconsistent. A player who is 31yo, almost at the end of his prime. A guy who is possibly gonna hinder the development of your center Lively.
It just seems soo absurd and forced. They literally had no reason to trade Luka(unless there is some behind the scene stuff we dont know about). They traded a player who was gonna keep them competitive for almost 10 years for sure for someone who shortens the window to 3-4 years. And why to the Lakers? Could have traded him for any top 5 players in the league right now, why Anthony Davis? It just doesnt make sense at all... And weirdly enough, Lakers always get the better deal in these kind of situations.
We struggled mightily against the Mavs due to Luka and their bigs. Even though they have AD now and their rebounding will still be an issue for us, the loss of Luka's scoring and playmaking makes it a net negative for Mavs overall.
As for the Lakers, it'll be high-scoring fiestas where I believe we'll outlast them.
Dude we just traded for Eubanks and Patty Mills! So glad to get off the PJ Tucker contract, this is the only trade that happens today right?
Right?
I might be remembering this wrong, but wasn't there very serious interest in him in like 2021 but he basically told the Clippers to eff off and singed with the Nets for less money because they were allegedly the better superteam?
Happy birthday Drew Eubanks welcome to the Clippers!
You guys think we’ll use him to run the point for the second unit? Or no chance and he gonna get waived? Could be really interesting to have a veteran pg who has high iq and a hell of a shot but honestly haven’t watched him for a good couple years now
Since the trade went done I’ve been watching some Drew Eubanks highlights and I don’t really see what he brings to the team outside of being a pick n roll guy that can occasionally finish at the rim, with no jump shot and doesn’t seem to be a defender. With that being said could Kai find some more PT with this move? At the very least he’s a guy that can meet guys at the rim for blocks and brings the athleticism that Zu and Eubanks don’t really have
Glad to seem see him thriving love seeing former Clippers shine
IF Ben gets bought out, I think we should go for him over Lonzo (if only given one choice). We can run a switchable-lineup with him being the secondary ball-handler/screener. Definitely wouldn't surprise me given Tlue's inclination towards going small.
