Posts/Comments pertaining to fantasy football are discouraged in r/raiders. Please use another subreddit (e.g., r/fantasyfootball) for fantasy football related discussions.

r/raiders is not the place to discuss politics. If you would like to discuss this there are countless subs dedicated to that subject. All political posts/comments will be removed and the poster may be subject to ban.

Is Michael Penix Jr our next QB?
I pretty regularly check mock drafts, and nearly every single one recently has us taking Penix at either 13 or late in the 1st/early in the 2nd.
And when I say nearly every single one...the only other QB I've seen taken in the last week or so was a crazy mock where we traded up for Daniels.
The other rumor is that Minnesota is locked into JJ McCarthy and Denver is locked into Bo Nix. Take all of that, along with the fact that Penix's PFF ratings are rising*...its looking more and more likely that he'll be our guy (barring some insane trade up for Daniels).
Thoughts?
*he is the 2nd highest rated QB when pushed past their 1st read, behind Caleb Williams.

What Happened With Hunter Renfrow?
Hey all,
I will preface this by saying that I’m not a Raiders fan but I come in peace. Was curious to what exactly happened with Hunter Renfrow? Why didn’t he stick in Las Vegas? Seems like he was used scarcely outside of his one 1,000 yard season, but to me he looks like everything you’d want out of a starting slot receiver. Absolute route technician, twitchy, reliable hands? Obviously he is still circulating in free agency, and likely hasn’t drawn significant interest or he would be signed already. Did his spot just get taken by Tre Tucker? Is it that simple? All I know is I loved watching him play and am confused as to why teams aren’t chomping at the bit to have him as a reliable chain-mover in their offence. Cheers.

If Drake Maye falls should we trade up for him?
Let's say Williams, Daniels, and McCarthy are picked first and all the teams that already have their QB get people they actually need, should we trade with the Jets, Falcons, Titans, or Giants to get him? I say this because he is a damn good QB and could be the franchise guy for us even if we don't get Daniels. A lot of high projected QBs like Will Levis, Justin Fields, or Jordan Love get projected very high but drop when the draft actually happens. I wouldn't trade up for McCarthy, but Maye is very tempting and would fit into our offensive scheme perfectly. So would you be upset if Telesco and AP decided to trade the farm for him?
