I bought a two day pass and cannot go anymore willing to sell it for super cheap, DM for more info :,)
This will be my groups first time going to Bonaroo. Some want to get an Airbnb others want to camp. Whats the camping situation like? I know there's different tiers and what not for better perks, I also feel like it could be a cool experience to camp as I've never done it at a festival. Just curious of people's experiences with both and what y'all think is the best option. Thanks!
Does anyone know if there‘s a sober group that attends Levitate Festival in Mansfield, MA? I’ve heard of a yellow balloon thing. I’m newly into sobriet.
is anyone looking for extra people to help the cost of an airbnb or hotel? two of us together, both21, looking for a place to stay that we can actually afford lmao. we are everything-friendly and plan on having a blast there. pm me please if you are 🫶🏼
Going to a 3-day city festival this summer, it will be my second time going.
Went for the first time last year as a festival noob, and would show up between 5-6pm and stay until the festival closes at 11pm, followed by after parties until 2-5am each day. I was 25 and was physically fine after a day of rest on Monday, mentally is a different story lol but not too bad.
Now that I'm not a noob, I actually took my time researching every artist on the line-up instead of just aiming to see the headliners like last year. I discovered that I like the sound of half the line-up, which are about 30 artists (Last year I only knew 12 artists total lol)!
Hence, I'm considering the following:
Showing up at gate opening time and leaving at gate closing time everyday, to catch most or all of those 30 artists.
Friday gate opens 3pm, and 1pm on Saturday and Sunday, closes 11pm all three days! (After parties all 3 days until 3am!)
Is it smart or stupid or neutral to do this? Will it ruin my experience on Sunday?
I exercise regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle, the reason I want to go all out that weekend is because it's the event of the year for me, so I need advice if you think I risk ruining it by going too extreme.
Thanks for reading!
Edit 1: Thanks for not calling me out on misspelling advice 😅
Dear all,
On behalf of the municipality of Dronten, we are working on enhancing the festival experience. Undoubtedly, you have noticed over the past few years the long queues upon arrival at the venue. Currently, this is one of our focal points, and we strive to improve this experience.
We kindly ask you to answer a few questions about the festival (Defqon) through our survey. This will only take a few minutes of your time.
Thank you very much in advance!

We suddenly have saturday off, and we can go on saturday now. Is there an option to ADD a day? Naturally I cant find anything about this.
We bought 2 day passes thinking wed get there at 1am sunday morning, but seems the gates close at 10, so we can take off work and go earlier, but now wed need a 3rd day addition.
Hello! I’m planning on going to Camp Bestival on my own this year. I’ve been two years running with family friends but they can’t afford this year, I really enjoyed it previously so I’m wanting to go on my own. Also this way I’m at least I’m familiar with the festival.
What sort of problems should I expect going to a festival on my own?
I know it could be lonely, but I’m on a few groups and I’m hoping to get to know people that way.
Also, looking into getting a new tent since my old one isn’t meant for British weather. Any recommendations? What sort of decorations do I use to spruce it up?!
I’m super excited about the idea but I want to be really sure before paying for tickets.
Hey, we're a bunch of 26-year-old friends thinking about hitting up SAGA.
Can anyone help us out with a few questions?
I paid for Safari Glamping and 2 VIP tickets. All I got in the mail was my 2 VIP tickets and glasses. Was I supposed to get a car pass or 2 glamping wristbands?
Edit: I already bought my tickets but if this is true, I got a crazy deal on those tickets!! So excited for the lineup drop!!
Hey folks,
I'm studying design at university, and for an exam project, I need to create an outfit suitable for festival-goers or mountain adventurers who prefer not to lug around a backpack. I envision something modular, adaptable, with the ability to add functionalities, and so on. Would anyone be interested in giving me suggestions on the type of fabric to use or sharing ideas to make it more versatile? I thought to ask here since you all seem like the right crowd. If you're interested, I can also share some sketches I've made to help you understand better.
Thinking of going to this one. Very familiar with festivals (Cali Roots, Sea Hear Now, Oceans Calling, Made In America, etc…) just looking for advice and thoughts on this one. Is GA acceptable or should I be looking at sold out VIP tickets?
How is the layout? Time between stages? Any thoughts and advice are welcomed.
i need confirmation: are my thursday early arrival tickets the same as my pass for the whole festival??? or do i still need to buy regular GA festival passes too???
Hey folks,
Allow me to share my worries about an upcoming event, that I may or may not decided to attend on my own. Now, I've always been a bit of a lone wolf when it comes to exploration, so when the opportunity to attend Sundance Film Festival presented itself, I grabbed it without thinking twice. But now that I’m thinking about it, I’m a little bit scared of what may come my way.
So, here's the twist—I've never set foot at Sundance before. I'm a Sundance virgin, you might say. Never been, never seen, but I’m very excited. So, I did what any savvy traveller would do: hit up my trusted advisor, Google, for some insider tips. Found this article, Sundance Film Festival Tips and Tricks (https://www.mklibrary.com/sundance-film-festival-tips-and-tricks/), but even though it has valuable information on logistics and scheduling, it's missing some things that I really need to know. For example, what should I wear, to blend in, and not have everyone think that I’m a newbie, how much money should I bring and what are some unexpected expenses that always seem to pop up, and perhaps most importantly, what are the unwritten rules of Sundance etiquette that I don't end up sticking out like a sore thumb?
I want to blend in seamlessly with the festival crowd and seem to know what I’m doing, so that I can have the best time there. So, my fellow Redditors, I turn to you for some guidance. Lay it on me—your Sundance sagas, your survival hacks, your own tips and tricks that'll make this trip one for the books.
And hey, if any of you cool cats are gonna be at Sundance too, hit me up!
Also, what other festivals is everyone going to this year, let me know, so that maybe we can catch them together.
I'm looking for someone to camp and ride down with
Who loves a good braid moment? Sending this beauty to texas to catch the eclipse 🫶🏻🪩
This will be my first festival with a pit ticket. How many hours before the gates open should I be there? Ofc I would like as good of a view as possible... But I worry about dehydration and sun exposure, since the festival will be in Milan in July. I don't wanna risk fainting either ... And since I'm going alone, I don't have anyone for me to hold my spot in line while using the restroom, so there's also that worry.
Any tips regarding a good arrival time, proper hydration and other tips regarding festivals are very much appreciated! :)
I'm wanting to go to this fest really badly but I don't know if I can because I'm 17 but when I looked it up on their website it says they have no agw restrictions. So basically my question is do u think if I just show up with Mt car and all Mt gear they will let me in? Or am I supposed to have an adult with me
