What are we expecting? Anyone changing their plans / shortening the weekend over these damn bugs
Asking $325 each(over $100 off the website price). These tickets were given to me by the festival to bring my Art Installation Projection Dome. DM me and I'll send plenty of verification of my identity and that I'm an artist working with the festival. Can also check my post history.
Me and my friends got our wristbands but no pre-party tickets. Anyone know how that’s supposed to work out?
Just wondering if anybody knows the answer or can assume based off previous years. Have a homie meeting me Thursday to sell me his ticket cuz his band got booked last minute. My group always gets in line super early. If he doesn’t show by the time the line starts moving, just curious how much it’d cost me to run down to the box office real quick and grab a wristband.
Never really bought tickets this late. Had to wait cuz I've been so broke, but now it looks like you can't even purchase them online anymore? Do I just gotta buy one off a buddy or at the box office?
Hey scampers, this will be my first time to the festival and I'm flying into Peoria with all my stuff. Does anyone know if there is a ride-share service or taxi drop off and pick up point at the festival? Just trying to get everything settled for what looks like an amazing festival.
How much search can be expected for car campers? I know what to expect walking in to camp, but will they pull all the gear out of your car or just poke around?
My buddy and I are heading to Scamp for the first time and have a few questions.
How strict is no alcohol policy? Do they really check your bags? Is it impossible to bring a case of beer in?
What are the showers like?
Are gas grills and stoves allowed in camping area to cook?
How far is the walk form the lot to the camping area?
Thanks!
I’ve heard in the VIP tent drinks are slightly cheaper. Does anyone know by how much? Just curious! See y’all soon✨
Hi 👋 it’s my first year going to summer camp! I know it gets a lil dusty, any footwear recommendations or footwear to stay away from
Thank you 😊
Hello my beautiful wooks that I will be seeing in 2 weeks :) I know there have been other posts about solo camping and I’ve read all the comments, but a question I have is, if I go up to another group of people and wanna sit and socialize with them, or wanna greet and get to know my neighbors, will I more times than not be welcomed and they will interact and want get to know me and be friends with me as well?? I’ve been to numerous festivals, and have gone off on my own at almost all of them, for at least a little bit, but this will be my first festival that I am going without anyone the whole weekend. The other times I’ve gone off and tried meeting new people at like forest and lost lands, I’ve always been welcomed besides a few times where I could tell the group didn’t want any new people to sit with them, so I would leave, but I was just curious if almost everyone is open to making new friends at scamp. Thanks, see y’all in 14 days 🥳❤️
This morning on my Spotify shuffle I got a Anchor Drops> Happy hour hero from the Scamp gods and the hype just got real!! Can’t wait fam!
Would someone more knowledgeable in the electronic scene be willing to give a little break down of the artists at scamp? I’d love to see some house/techno/trance/drum and base but I have no idea who that would be on the lineup. Thanks from an uneducated jam band person!
People seem to be underestimating how truly terrible those fuckers could be if they reemerge close to or during the festival. It could be an absolute nightmare for campers and would likely cancel shows.
Does anyone have updates on if those fuckers have started emerging yet?
First timer here, was thinking about signing up for field day but I worry about missing out on music. How much does field day intersect with performances?
Just seeing who has opted for VIP and is also going to be spending most of their time at the Illumination stage. I’m with a group of jam band connoisseurs. HELP!!!
I got a couple followup emails today telling me I need to select my red barns with my VIP . I can select the days on the link but I don't really want to yet since I am seeing nothing about who is playing which nights on any social or on their website. Anyone heard anything yet?
Can't imagine the new set of challenges with "revamping" the fest so I don't wanna be too upset with how late it is. That being said, its still kinda disappointing that they would send out reminder emails without releasing the red barn artists/schedule but sounds like i just have to be patient while they sort it out so I will.
Edit: nvm. I didn't read the post before me..... I just searched the sub on red barn info lol. Sounds like all that will be coming this week
Hey scampers.
First timer and doing VIP. Got my ticket in the mail this afternoon. They also announced a couple hours ago that we will be getting the rest of the missing information this week (red barn, map, app, vendors, etc).
I’m thinking about upgrading our GA passes to VIP but I’ve already purchased Thursday pre passes. Is there anyway to sell Thursday passes if I upgraded right now? Seems like a big NO but wanted to seek the knowledge of fellow scampers.
Hey! first time scamper/music festival attendee here! I'm going to be solo camping the entire time ( I have a friend that might come, but we wouldn't spend more than a couple of hours together) and I was wondering what are any tips I should keep in mind about while there. Anything I should absolutely make sure to buy/bring. I purchased the pre-party pass so around what time should I try and get there? Also any tips on how to talk to people or make some friends while there? I have a bit of social anxiety when talking to new people, though once I get past that I'm usually fine (male if that makes a difference on any of the advice).
Thanks!
what is the situation with my happy medicine and such sort are there gonna be dogs?? and when u get patted down what the situation with that?
Unfortunately part of my crew is having a family emergency and wouldn’t feel right going to Scamp under the circumstances. They are looking to sell their passes, and willing to do under asking.
PM me if you or anyone you know might be interested. Local pickup could probably be arranged in Chicago.
When do we expect them?
Since wristbands are being shipped how will I go about getting vip? Does it just give me a confirmation or something and I show them at vip parking/the gate? Sorry it’s just getting close and I’m getting anxious!
It’s seems as though there are a lot of first time scampers attending this year. We’re all hyped and ready to bring the positive vibes but what are your tips for staying safe? What kind of not so cool behaviors should people be watching out for? Will there be a good source for testing kits?
Do they allow electric bikes on the camp grounds?
