Side note: Still can't believe Coachella never booked Thug during his prime run from like 2014-2019 but booking thug's first performance post jail would be epic. Do it coachella.

Side side note: thug's set at FYF 2016 was hella fun & that weekend was one of my favorite festival experiences ever. Seriously go back and look at that lineup.

they've been to the polo fields quite a few times - 2011, 2014, 2017. given their new album released this year and have yet to announce any tour dates, I can see them making a return for 2025

What do y’all think?

I'm planning on returning to Coachella this year after a few years off. Our group is planning on going weekend 2 and we already have our housing reserved. However, based on how ticket sales went last year I was playing with the idea of waiting until after weekend 1 and getting a ticket from someone in LA/Palm Springs, or online. This is mostly to save money and attempt to buy a ticket for face or cheaper. Has anyone had experience doing this and have any recommendations on how best to go about it? This of course assumes that ticket sales will be similar to the past couple of years.

EDIT - Yes I am aware of the risks involved with this process and am well versed enough in buying third party tickets to avoid (most) scammers. Mostly interested in hearing from people who got their ticket last minute for face or below and how they did it. I'm assuming weekend 2 will still have tickets onsale as a backup.

I’m sorry but this place has become the worst place to speculate about artists. It’s literally 60 percent warped tour bands from 2012 and 30 percent pop artists who just blew up this year. Oh yeah and Fred again.

what do we think about them attending next year? considering their song under your spell is gaining popularity

I listened to the new album finally, and it was fine: but I don’t think it was on par with his other work. It’s very melodic and slow, with the exception of a select few like the one with Anderson Paak, one with SOAK, and one with Joy Anonymous. But if he’s heavy on this album…idk how the crowd is gonna vibe to this. Just my .02. I love Fred, but that better be the best damn light show of our lives for this to feel like a headliner.
