Hello everyone. I recently got an email saying that I've been reserved two tickets for purchase until November 14. Total is $1200+. My problem is that I was told that there will be no payment plans and I would have to pay the lump sum, yet I saw another "Waitlist approval" post saying that they were offered a payment plan upon purchase. I'm confused as to why I am being asked to pay the whole amount and some people are offered to pay installments? My friend and I can't produce $1200+ in two weeks, and we don't wanna borrow from our credit cards either :(
Trying to help my friend out.
Found on an old HD.
Has anyone proceeded with the email for approval on tickets? It’s telling me I can redeem up to 2, I’m nervous as I feel it has to be all under my name and not split. (Payment wise)
They still offer payment plans too! Does anyone know if I can get a yurt or anything similar? Last time I went was 2013
Who yall trynna see and at what stage?
My list :
AMP - pheel Grove - Yoofe Fractal - GeeLee or Douvelle19 Pagoda - INZO Village - Joy Orbison
Been looking for the original photo of the gentleman who complimented my horn at the piss troughs. Might have been tripping sack but I think he had 4 eyes and two mouths?
Going to my first Shambhala in 2025. Tipper is on my bucket list, but he played last summer and is retiring soon, so I don’t have much hope.
Question: Does Shambhala ever have big acts play 2 years in a row?
(bonus question: odds of getting Amon Tobin?)
So I’m trying to figure out if with my group and Is general admission passes we are only allowed to free tent camp without our vehicle. The website is confusing me and saying that camping with your vehicle is free but you need to pay to upgrade to that. It’s gonna be our first time and from my past fests I find it easiest to just camp next to my car and have the whole set up. Let me know what I need to do or how it all works! Thanks y’all
I tried
Help !!
Shambhala has been on my list for a while now. Most likely going solo and it’ll be my first time doing a festival solo. Any advice? Pretty hesitant being that I’ll be alone. Do they allowed car camping?
Has anyone ever gotten tickets from a promoter? My friend got some and I have no idea if they are legit. He got them a week ago in Calgary
They were playing gabba/donk and it was quite a long set and very wild and experimental and it was just amazing but I never figured out who it was. They had a super freaky look the headpiece extended quite far back behind their head and their mouth was held open by one of those dentist things.
Finally can share now that Shambhala officially has posted about it.
We hired a team this year to do Spatial Audio recordings of some of the stages and sets this year.
They placed multiple microphones all over the dance floor and stage to capture the sound of the environment, along with the direct feed of the audio.
This then allows them to mix down a multi channel Dolby Atmos experience that Apple Music users can experience. As close as you’ll likely get to physically transporting yourself back into the crowd for these sets.
You do not need a multi speaker surround system to experience Dolby Atmos. Apple AirPods use binaural mixdown to calculate arrival time of a multi channel audio stream to the listener position to give the illusion of standing in the center of a multi speaker setup. If you also enable head tracking with AirPods, as you turn your head, the source of the audio will stay physically in place.
With traditional stereo, the sound is directly on each ear, left & right channel. And as you turn your head the sound is still directly on each ear. With Spatial Audio and head tracking, the sound is much wider, and anchored so as you turn your head, if a sound source is from in front of you, turning your head to the left will keep the sound in the direction your head was originally facing. Which is how it is in real world when you’re standing at a concert facing the stage.
Why Apple Music and not another platform? Spotify does not host dj mixes as it does not allocate royalties correctly. Apple Music mixes that are uploaded get fully tagged with separate tracks and royalties are paid out to the owners of each song/sample, and not to the DJ that uploaded the mix who might not have even played their own music. Apple Music also pays artists nearly TWICE as much per stream than Spotify. Apple Music also has LOSSLESS quality for all subscribers at no extra cost, as well as Dolby Atmos. Something which Spotify for years has still not implemented. As for SoundCloud, it’s far too easy for a mix to get flagged and taken down for a sample/song that an artist put in their mix. The payout to original copyright owners is also not as well implemented like Apple Music. And again, no lossless or Dolby Atmos.
I understand Apple Music may not be your platform of choice, but this was something we’ve wanted to try out to bring the experience of Shambhala outside of attending the festival as close as possible to home. There is free 3 month trial if you wanted to try it out. It’s also on Android devices too, tho I’m not sure if Dolby Atmos is available on android app, but lossless quality is at least. For iPhone users, you can also get it pretty cheap if you get Apple One subscription which you can go in with 5 more people such as family members and split cost, and you get other services with it too.
Anyway, hope you enjoy when they get posted over next few days/weeks!
Hey farmily! I’m wondering if there’s a chance people sell their riverside camping spots. No RV hookup, just tryna pull up with my car and have a spacious, relaxing camping area. I really enjoyed my time there this past year, just sadly wasn’t able to pull the trigger at the time they were for sale this time around. Maybe a silly question, trying to find any info hasn’t been successful. Maybe I’m not in the right groups on here or Facebook, would love any more info if that’s available!
Of course delete this if it’s frequently asked or this is just the wrong space to ask about this.
Thank you guys! 288 days<333
Does anyone have a lead on where to get some PK swag? I wanted to get a hat at the village this year but I waffled and was too late.
It looks like they’ve posted the leftovers on big cartel in previous years but I’m not finding anything yet.
Hey everyone Im wondering if anyone is selling a line up hoodie from this year in xxl. Or if there is a sub or group that does merch selling
Hello!
I saw that this year the festival is Friday through Monday - does that mean there will be music on Monday? Sorry if this is silly.
Just came here to say I have been trying to make Shams happen for several years. Something always seems to pop up making it impossible. Well I finally made the decision that 2025 if I do nothing else I will be at Shams.
The kicker was this year sitting at Bobs and getting into a conversation with two people at the bar who where passing through on there way up. Their vibe and attitude was awesome and just made me really happy. So when tickets went on sale I bought um, time off secured (I know way in advance), Fam informed and group forming.
I know its a long ways out but I can not wait to there with you all :)
i was just wondering if anyone knows or has a copy of subtronics village set? :)
i honestly cant find it anywhere, just some clips others have posted, which have been awesome to look at. this was my first time at the farm, so seeing all the photos is making me restless, i literally cant wait to go back next year!!!
i didn't take many vids cause i was too busy dancing and vibing!! so honestly i'm not sure how uploading live sets work. i dont know if theres a specific reason i cant find it, it might still be being edited? or maybe subtronics chose not to release it? either way both reasons make sense and i'll survive without it.
but... if anyone has a video or knows a link, please please please send it my way!!!
Hello everyone , me and my friends are going for the first time to Shambhala and we don’t have any idea about the accommodation and camping so if anyone can help and give some advice that would be great . Also if there is a chat group for shambhala i would love to be in that as well .
I’m very interested in going to Shambhala one day. The vibes look amazing. As a person of color, I’m just wondering how common it is to see black people and other races other than just white at Shambhala. Do the people there seem accepting of those from different races?
Anybody know this remix Id? I believe this is either Bodysync or Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs set. The timestamp is 10:15 on the Saturday night which is right when the switchover should have happened according to the Shambs Schedule. Thank you!!!
