Would love to know what your favorite spots are? Were there any hidden after-party stages previous years?

The SUV in front of me at the Sardis McDonald's today had a huge shambs sticker on the back. Rock on dude! Cute doggo you had back there. I had a sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle.

I'll be volunteering outdoors this year and have all day shifts! I'm wondering if any of you beautiful people can recommend any brands (preferably Canadian) that offer UV resistant clothing. Will be looking for some long sleeve shirts and maybe even some pants. I'm googling now, but what I am finding leans towards sporty/golf type styles. I was hoping to find something in more of a streetwear style, or even just basic rather than sporty. Top priority is that they are lightweight!

So I know the pricing rolls over at 8am. But how soon can we enter the line. Say we want to arrive on Wednesday, can we lineup at 5am.

And also would 5am be a good amount of time to hopefully actually get to the gates after 8am so we arent paying the Tuesday price or should be to later or could probably go earlier?

Last year they sold around 24,000 tickets from what I heard. Does anyone know how many they are selling this year? The overcrowding was just awful last year. It was the first year where the river was dirty and where there wasn't enough room for people to park as well as creepiness on the dancefloor for the first time in my 9 years at shambs. Hoping it will be better organized for my ten-year!

Hello I’m from Edmonton looking 1 general admission!! Any tips besides Facebook group? Also how do I make sure is legit?

Have the tickets for the shuttles already gone on sale, or will that happen soon?

And how long of a walk is it to downtown?

We have a group of 11 friends coming from WA. We want to camp together. We have purchased 1 RV pass for $2500. We are considering a second pass for another $2500 (USD) that we will hopefully put together as one large double wide RV spot. We have two large vehicles (Bus and Truck+ 17’ travel trailer). We mostly will travel mostly together but may have secondary vehicles. (RV parking says 1 vehicle per 10x50’ spot + all the tents you want). We have only camped in Sunshine and it was great last year although we got lucky to find a big spot to camp together last year. We plan on arriving Tuesday morning/noon time.

So here are my questions:

Is there expedited entry option that’s available w/o buying a $2500 pass? (Not above bribery 🤣)

Can you realistically bring more than 1 vehicle per RV camping spot?

How reliable is the A/C POWER offered from Shambhala?

Is RV camping worth it since we will arrive so early and will likely find a decent spot In sunshine?

Was 2023 really an anomaly with the oversold-ness of Shambhala? Ie Will there be more space this year or is this the new normal?

What's up everyone! Looking forward to another year on the farm and it's fast approaching.

Last year was my first year at Shambs and the people I was with gave me a festival gift; a nice pashmina. They had mentioned that during their first year someone had given them a Shambs welcome gift and they were passing on the tradition. This year, I have the opportunity to welcome some first timers and I would like to continue the tradition. Now I could give them a gift gift, but that doesn't feel right. Mine was a gift in the moment that I used all festival, it was simple but super cool, I want it to be something of use. I have a couple ideas, but I was curious to know if any of you have given or recieved Shambs gifts and if so what types of things they were?

Also, I had the great fortune of collecting may trinkets along my journey last year and plan to bring some of my own. I was also curious as to what people have used as tradeables and trinkets.

As an aside, what type of shit do y'all bring to Frick Frack Blackjack? I would like to play that this year so my pile of "curiosities" is slowly growing.

Hey, first time at Shamb this year, super excited. I've heard all of the lodging is on a first come, first serve basis which makes me quite anxious. My group is planning to arrive on Thursday morning around 11 or noon, will all the spots closer to the stages be taken by then? Anyone with Belle Luxe last year able to attest to this?

This is my first year and I’ve been watching a lot of vlog/documentaries of other people’s experiences and they’ve all been fri-sun, but I noticed on shambhalas instagram it says it would be the 26-29 (Fri-Mon). Did they add an extra day this year? thanks guys 🌈💖

Looking for somewhere to buy tickets for real Sent 800 for 2 tickets then got told they needed 100 for a tranfer fee so I sent that stupidity using etranfer for both now they said they can't use the 100 cause of something with there bank was told they will refund me Monday but I feel that is a lie really need some real tickets as my friend was gonna pay for mine along as I found them soo now I have to shell out another 1000 when I find 2 real tickets.... 😞

Hi All- We're looking to do a re-sale purchase for a Riverside Yurt and are connecting with the seller this evening. We have 5 people in our group, so my question is whether the 5th person in our party would be able to sleep on the floor- or whether we'd need to purchase a separate pass (e.g. single campsite) for them. We're aware we'll need to get additional entrance pass for the person, but any experiences with Shambala Lodging Policy- and whether Yurts have a 4 person max limit - would be appreciated!

Has anyone been to Neon Jungle Festival in AB? Just learned about it and from the pics and vids it seems to have some of that Shambhala vibes!

Has anyone successfully purchased a ticket second-hand without using PayPal goods and services? Someone is only willing to sell through e-transfer or friends and family, says they don't want to pay the merchant fees. And yes, I found them on the Mudshark group. Scam?

I’m on the post-show enviro crew this year and was wondering if I can still camp with crew during the fest? I have heard mixed responses as to if I’m allowed or not.

Secondly - I’m getting a ride to Shambs with a friend that has a GA ticket. Can I jump off and walk down to the crew entrance? My friend is not staying with me and will join another crew in regular camping!

I've seen talk about the Facebook group and was wondering what the best method would be for me to purchase a ticket if I am currently residing in South America (I am a US citizen, though). I am worried about getting ripped off, and I cannot physically be up in Canada to get any physical ticket until around the time of the festival.

Is there any other places/platforms than Facebook tickets exchange 2.0 to sell the Shambala tickets? We have 2 GA plus a belle luxe junior tickets but can’t go this year due to travel restrictions. Was trying to go to Shambala for the first time travelling from Seattle but looks like I won’t be able to get my travel permits ready in time.

I have posted it on Facebook exchange 2.0 group too. Figured you can’t sell it here but if there’s options I would love to know. Wish Shambala had some kind of official tickets exchange setup.

Dude I ain’t gonna lie, it stresses me out that the FB group has way more people going after tickets than people selling them. Each for sale post has like 30 ppl under them and god know how many are dming the OP on their tickets. Is that normal for how far out it is or should I accept the fact that I might not get a ticket this year?? I’m scared to buy the flight and shuttle ticket if I’m not gonna end up landing a ticket. I understand the overcrowding issue so I hope it’s not an oversold event too but sheesh I never thought it would be this long to get a GA pass. I’m praying it’ll be better by June but that’s so close to the actual date. Ugh

I'm a bit of a beefcake dude who loves feeding the animals at my place. I've been called a disney princess by everyone and I've decided I'm going to lean into that hard this year.

Halloween costumes suck and I'm willing to pay a bit of $$ for something that fits a 220 pound fit man. This is way out of my Google-fu so if anyone can drop any leads I would be forever great full.

Hii does anyone have any tips for camping in Sunshine? Like where’s the best spot, best time to arrive, how to keep the tent cool, etc?

It will be my 4th time at Shambhala but every year I have always gotten Shambhalodging. I couldn’t get my hands on a pass this year for Bassix and I’m still having trouble finding. It’s looking like it might be my first year camping in Sunshine and it’s kind of making me nervous. I’m not a good camper and I’m really sensitive to the sun (have suffered from heat stroke before). So any tips or recommendations based on personal experience would be really appreciated! Especially on how to keep a tent cool without shade.

Keep in mind I’m flying from Quebec, so I can’t bring much stuff, especially not some kind of shade structure. Any big item I would have to buy once I arrive in BC.

Oh and if anyone has any leads on where to find a Shambhalodging pass 👀
