First time going in 2025 and I booked a shuttle from Vancouver, as I'm traveling from out of country. I'm trying to start booking hotels and airbnbs for the trip and I'm wondering where does the shuttle depart from? Is it from the airport?
Hey all! I'm so pumped for my first Shambs next summer 😊 I have a bit of a unique situation with lodging and would love any advice.
My group (of 4 with me included - possibly 2 others joining) planned on getting 2 Riverside glamping tents, but I was the only one to snag one. We did manage to get Belle Luxe which would house 4, but I'm feeling hesitant at giving up my Riverside glamping tent for a few reasons: I'm a terrible sleeper, enjoy solitude to recharge at festivals and find the idea of sharing a tent with 3 or 5 others a bit overwhelming. Plus, the perk of having power at Riverside glamping.
Is it a bad idea to tent alone if I needed to and join my group at Belle Luxe as I feel like it? I'd probably only use the tent for sleeping but hang out at the other campsite most of the time. I could also try to convince one of the others to join me in my Riverside tent, but don't want to split a couple and am not very close with the third member of the group.
Just trying to weigh the pros and cons while it's still early enough. My group would prefer I sell my glamping tent and camp together, but I'm debating if at least having the option of my own place to sleep could be worth the cost.

This will be my first Shambs ever (coming from Toronto) and I am totally pumped!! One of my biggest worries is that as a fine hair girlie, my hair will turn to dreads as it tends to do when I dance way too hard and don't brush it constantly - and then I'll end up ripping it out detangling :(( So, I am thinking it would be perfect to get my hair braided (and I tend to go all out with my rave fits so it would totally suit my vibe).
I have no idea where people get this done - I'm thinking of French braids with some colorful hair pieces and/or tinsel 🥰 do people usually get this done at the fest and find artists by word of mouth or on social? Or do you have it done before coming in (assuming this is easy to find if you live in a big city)? Any insights appreciated!!
Hey fam!
I haven't been to shambhala since 2011 so I'm a bit out of the loop. Are the stages still relatively genre focused, and if so what are they?
TIA :)
I got a dui 7 years ago and I’m just wondering what I have to do to get in/other people’s experience with it. Any tips or help would very much be appreciated!
The vibes were immaculate and would like some help IDing the artist & hype person 🫶🌻🌷🌿🪻🪴🌹🌸🌺💐
Hey ravers,
I was wondering if you know of any DJ's that play at Shambhala that focus on future house music.
Here is one song:

Does anyone have experience crossing the border with a criminal record? I have a misdemeanor for shoplifting from 5 years ago (yes, i was a very dumb 18 yr old hanging around the wrong crowd). By Shambhala next year, it would be 6 years. Hard to find a clear answer online, so I was wondering if anyone could answer based off their own experience.
Any ideas on who the first headliner will be?? what name did they drop last year in december??
Between December 1-12 we'll be posting epic prizes, exciting announcements, and thrilling special events. Any guesses what we have lined up for this year? 👇
Hey everyone,
My team and I are currently in the early stages of organizing a small, weekend music festival for late summer 2025 (we're flexible on dates, so early summer or autumn could work as well). We're looking for the perfect venue ideally an 1-5 hours outside of Vancouver that aligns with our vision and can help bring this event to life.
Our core team brings over 40+ years of combined experience in film, art, and live music events. We've had the privilege of receiving funding for past projects from reputable organizations like Creative BC, Canada Arts Council, and Factor. We're fully equipped to handle all aspects of event planning and execution, including logistics, security, legal protections, and waste management.
We are deeply committed to respecting the land, the communities that care for it, and the people who call it home. This is central to everything we do.
This festival will be relatively modest in scale compared to larger events, with a projected attendance of around 400-500 guests. Our target demographic is mature music lovers, primarily aged 20s to 40s, who appreciate spending time in nature. We plan to offer a cozy, intimate experience that prioritizes quality over quantity.
Two stages: A “main” stage and a smaller, more intimate stage, and indoor area for a stage would be nice, but not required.
On-site camping: Attendees will primarily stay in tents, with some cabins available for artists and select guests.
Deluxe Tickets: We'd love to offer premium tickets for those who would like a more luxurious experience, which would include staying in the cabins on-site. This would be a great option for those looking to enjoy a bit more comfort, while still being close to the action.
Duration: Friday & Saturday, with amplified audio running from day until 6am Sunday morning.
Atmosphere: The vibe will be one of connection and community in the outdoors, with performances throughout the day and into the early hours of the morning.
We're looking for a venue that can host our festival in late summer 2025. Ideally, the location would have beautiful natural surroundings, a good amount of space for camping and stages, and the ability to accommodate around 400-500 people.
If you know of any venues that might be a good fit for our event, or if you're a venue owner looking to partner with us, we would love to hear from you! Feel free to reach out with any q's or leads
We’re excited to bring something unique to life
Thank you! 🙌
say I wanted to play this festival? who would I get in contact with?
I just added myself to the waitlist for 2025. Has anyone been on the waitlist and what is the likelihood of getting a ticket off the waitlist?
I know we still have a while until Sham, but I want to learn the most I can and be as prepared as possible!! 🌞🌲🧚♀️ ✨
What are your do’s and don’ts? What are some essential items you always pack? What are some unspoken rules? 🩵
I'm new to the area and hoping to meet some like minded friends to go to shows and hang out with.
I'm in grad school, 31, male, and also love to go outdoors. It would be sweet to connect with some fellow Shambhala goers :)
Cheers!
How do I buy a pass for early admission?? Or have they not come out yet hehe sorry I’m new to shambhala 💜
If I'm driving from Seattle, where should I cross into Canada and where should I drive back into the states? If the border agent asks me what I'm doing should I be honest and say I'm heading to shamb? I won't be bringing any subtances across the borders but still would rather avoid the hassle of getting interrogated and searched.
Hey guys. First time thinking about going to Shambhala this year. I am from the New York area and I'm just wondering how the fuck you even get there. Like what's the best way to travel there?
Let's relive that SMF magic, what's your all-time fav memory from your time on the farm 👇
Hi Farmily!
A group of us just wrapped up an amazing time at Hulaween and Electric Forest, so we're no strangers to camping festivals. However, this will be our first-ever Shambhala, and we're beyond excited! We’re a crew of about 30 people with Tuesday early arrival passes, and we're hoping to camp together, ideally in Metta. Since we’re a big group, we want to be as proactive as possible.
What advice would you give to help us secure a good spot for everyone? Also, will we be able to drive our cars to the campsite for unloading, or will we need to carry everything from free parking? If so, how far is the walk?
We’re super grateful for any tips you have, and we can’t wait to experience Shambhala with all of you beautiful souls!
Thanks in advance!
Hey, this upcoming Shambhala will be my partner and my first. Wondering how much DnB sets there generally are at Shambs? We’re bass heads. We love other genres too of course, but curious about the DnB there.. Thanks!!!
Can't seem to find them on FB page or group. What is the best way to connect with them?
